Alexa's POV

Alright, now I don't really like my seat. Well, this is actually better than sitting next to a crazy sannin but, I was in between Sasuke and Tohru. Even the two are surprised. Looks like fate, wanted Tohru and I to meet again.

"You should not be here.", I heard him.

Of course. I met my clan's killers, and I am risking my head by staying here in the enemy's nest. More than that...I lost someone very important to me then I was tortured until I turned to a crazy maniac then I began seeing and hearing voices in my head.

"Care not to greet me first?", I asked shooting him a slight glare.

A crazy and heavy tension erupted between the two of us.

"Drop out.", he suddenly said out of nowhere causing my eyes to widen.

"What right do you have to order me around?", I ask, slightly irritated forgetting the fact that Sasuke was beside me.

My head was so fuzzy ever since I met that man this morning, and this body is not acting the way I wanted. And this guy is irritating me to death.

"I have the power to break your legs here and now.", he threatened but, seriously why my legs?

I mean it could be my arm or my head or my mind but, why my legs? He's weird.

"You can't be a shinobi."

I bit my lower lip, argh...my mind's getting cloudy. I want to slaughter someone right now. Two icicles appeared beneath the table that can pierce me anytime. Is this guy trying to kill me? I can kill him before he does, but....he's still my friend.

"You should shut your mouth and don't even dare try hurt my friend right here in our village.", I felt Sasuke's hand tugging me closer to him.

Somehow, I felt at ease.

Tohru glared at Sasuke before he cancelled his technique. All of a sudden, I felt something very disturbing and I was so uncomfortable.

"You'll only die, take my advice.", Tohru stated causing me to almost break my character if not for the voice in my head, I wasn't expecting.

Calm the fuck down, will ya?! He just placed genjutsu on you and you didn't even noticed?! How dumb can you be?! For Jashin's sake, you should be more mature than this!

'Oh Asuna, long time no see...'

I immediately cancelled the genjutsu and I finally calmed down.

Fuck off, I was just gone for an hour. 

I can't believe I missed this crazy bitch.

"Now that you're all seated. The exam will start after I finish explaining the rules. No questions asked so listen."

This damn bastard was the one who tortured my body right?

'Me as wel--'

Shut up, I'm in a bad mood. Jeez, I don't even wanna talk.

'Eep...okay.'

First of all, Lhexi, who's that irritating guy beside you?

'Setsuro Tohru, remember?', I laughed internally.

That boy from the river? Why the fuck is he threatening you? Didn't he liked you before? Weren't you friends?

'I don't know...'

I'll kill him before he even lay a finger on my hair.

I stared at Ibiki who began explaining. "First rule, each of you starts with 10 points. There's ten questions on the test, each worth one point. Each one you get wrong, we deduct a point from you. Get all ten right, you keep all your points with you. For example, if you get three wrong your points goes down to 7 points."

Can't he just simply say you get a point for each correct answer? This guy be thinking he's a math wizard. He's not even able to explain it properly.

"However, this is a team event. Weather you pass or fail, depends on how many points your team will retain. The object is to have as few deductions as possible."

"Wait! What do you mean by team total?!", that girl should have just stayed silent.

"Shut up and listen.", Ibiki said and Sakura bit her lower lip. "Anyway, throughout the exam, if any candidate gives the proctors any reason to think that he or she has cheated, two points are subtracted from each member of the cheater's team."

"Oh...Sokka.", Sakura muttered.

"Exactly. Also, if any of you run through their total points during the exam...you fail and you'll be asked to leave. If you're caught cheating, you bring down your team with you! If you want to be a Chunin. You've gotta start acting like you already are one!", Ibiki stated.

I look for my team, Yuri is a couple seats away from me, she made a sign 'ready' before she smirked at me. I smiled at her before looking forward to my right, to see Itsuki using the peace sign.

"Oh, and one more thing...", does he have to keep it as suspense? "If any member of a team looses all their ten points...no matter how the others did well, they will be disqualified!"

I clicked my tongue as Sasuke grits his teeth.

"This is bad considering Naruto.", I whispered to the black-haired beside me.

He scowled. "That idiot better not score zero."

"You have one hour starting now!"

I flipped the paper and read all the questions. They never thought us this in the academy. This is mostly filled with complex algebras. Ones that I learned back in college. Then there were also questions such as team strategies and such. Woah. This is easier than I thought.

A series of groans were heard all over the room.

I smirked before twirling the pencil on my hand, I look to the left, Sasuke was having a hard time, then to my right, Itsuki was narrowing his eyes. They slightly shifted on their seats, they probably already guessed the point of this exam.

One by one, they started to understand that they have to cheat.

Sasuke used his sharingan looking for someone who knows the answer. Tohru was calm, frost covered some parts of the floor traveling to some place I couldn't see.

If I didn't know the future, what would I have done in this situation? It's a tough question considering I don't have anything I could use to cheat. No summons, no dojutsu for I haven't awakened this one yet.

After reading hundreds and hundreds of books written about the Ryuugaime Clan, I figured out that they have this overpowered dojutsu called Seiryuugan. Which is only present in pure blooded members. Asuna doesn't probably know about this for she wasn't informed by anyone from the clan.

They never talked about fighting or killing in front of Asuna and they always forbids her to touch any weapon. I wonder why...?

Anyway, this Seiryuugan, I might not be able to awaken it since I don't know how to. I remembered two portraits of its appearance. In the first picture, the eyes are gold, with three green circles around a green iris. The second picture also have the same gold eyes however the circles and the iris are colored blue.

It can see through chakra pathways and even the chakra in nature, its even better than the Byakugan, how cool is that! More than that, it can manipulate chakra, it only depends on the user if he or she wants to amplify the chakra or condense it.

For example, it can strengthen or lessen the amount of chakra a tree has and it will grow bigger or dry out. If its used against a human, they would either grow stronger or be depleted with chakra.

Now I understand why my clan is feared by the world. Once, you're in their line of sight, you will immediately die. The user gets stronger drastically if a single circle disappears on the eyes. So, those circles are just like locks to contain our real power.

I want to know how powerful a Ryuugaime could be once all those circles are removed. I haven' read anything that discussed about these.

And according to books, our chakra storage is comparable to the Uzumaki Clan. We can learn jutsus in a shorter span of time compared to average. That was why I could easily memorize C-rank jutsus  and below in just one look.

My siblings are kenjutsu geniuses including Kyuuji, no all of us are gifted when it comes to swords. It felt like it was an extension of us and we can adjoin it with different taijutsu. I also feel stronger and safer if I have a katana.

But...how did Kyuuji, Kakashi and the others killed us off in a single night if we were that powerful? Did they use poison? A forbidden jutsu? Wait, why was Kurenai also part of the mission when back then she is just a Chunin, she was only promoted to jounin this year.

She can seal Kekkei genkkei, did they use her power to seal our dojutsus? But there are over a hundreds of us, it's impossible to seal all of them in one night.

So how?! And why?!

Argh! This is so stressing!

"What are you doing idiot? Time is almost up.", someone hissed.

I blinked my eyes to finally realize I haven't written anything yet. I looked at the clock, just 17 more minutes remaining. A lot were already disqualified.

Smiling, I chuckled a bit. "Don't worry, I'll pass.", I whispered back at Sasuke.

He gave me a confuse look as he raise an eyebrow.

"This is a paper exam, how do you think will you pass without answering anything? Don't tell me...", he paused. "Are you gonna rely on the tenth question?"

I nodded my head and he facepalmed, visibly annoyed.

"Idiot.", he muttered very much irritated and disappointed.

I look around to see if anyone noticed us talking yet.

Okay, clear.

"Then should we make a bet?"

He lowered his hand to his mouth, a little interested.

"If I win, you'll buy me one year supply of takoyaki.", I stated.

He smirked, damn him. "Then, if you lose, you'll do anything I want."

I blinked my eyes at his condition before nodding.

"To make it more spicy, I'll never take the Chunin exams ever again.", his lips parted a bit shocked probably, before his smirk got even more sly.

"Deal."

We both looked forward to see Ibiki's sight on us. Oops. He noticed us after all. One thing that surprised me was that he didn't mind it since I didn't cheated through Sasuke, probably.

"You have an interesting little game.", Tohru stated and I tried my best to ignore this little bastard.

"Alright! It's been forty-five minutes, it's time for the tenth question!"

Finally. Sasuke and I both looked at each other, I smirked as if I already claimed my victory.

"But before that...I have another rule."

Oh great, another one.

"This rule is absolute. First, you must choose whether to accept or reject the tenth question."

Yeah yeah, now let's cut to the chase already.

I agreed with Asuna.

"What if we reject the question?!", Temari asked.

"If you reject the question, you'll fail along with your team.", he explained.

"Then why would we reject it?!"

"Because of the other rule."

I tapped my fingers on the table, getting impatient.

"If you decided to accept the question and your answer is wrong, you will never be permitted to take the Chunin exam ever again. You will stay at your current level for the rest of your lives!"

Tch. He's getting too much screen time. Sasuke was getting fidgety, I can't wait to his expression later.

"But you can't do that! There are people here who have taken the exam more than once!", Kiba exclaimed furious.

"Then it's just your rotten luck--", right right, "I wasn't making the rules last year. But, I am now. Anyone who has doubts should reject the question and comeback and apply next year.", it was a good thing I already know what was going to happen next or I might have argued with him. "Those who wish to reject the question should raise their hands and once your number is confirmed you may leave the room."

People began raising their hands. Tch. Weaklings. I stared at Naruto who was at the front row. Since I disturbed the plot, could I have also disturbed some of his personality? No matter how small the changes I've made in this world, it could affect the future and arouse problems or such just like the butterfly effect.

I hope he doesn't change, he won't easily give up over something like this, he's Uzumaki Naruto after all. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Sakura raising her hand as she look at Naruto.

Sakura is a true friend, she'll rather let Sasuke get angry at her for quitting in the exams to protect Naruto's dream of becoming hokage.

Just then Naruto raised his hand shocking team 7 before he slammed his hand loudly as he stand up from his seat, causing everyone to focus their attention on him, wait why do I hear music? 

"Never underestimate me! I won't run, and I won't quit! I'll answer the question, whatever it may be! Even if it means I'll stay a genin for the rest of my life! I'll still become Hokage, even if it's only by pure stubbornness! I'm not afraid of your question!"

Even though, I was already expecting this, I still can't help the pride bubbling in my chest and I eye smiled. "That's my cute pumpkin for ya...", Sasuke and Tohru both look at me and I was too happy I didn't even notice how they exchange glances.

"One last chance. Quit now, while you still can. This is your life's decision, here.", Ibiki was serious but, Naruto paid no heed.

"I never go back on my word...That's my ninja way!", Naruto exclaimed with his arms crossed.

Do I also have my own ninja way...?

Just like in the anime, everyone garnered the confidence to take the test. Sigh. This is the only downfall, more enemies.

No one raised a hand and Ibiki smirked. "Good call...Everyone still here!", he paused irking a lot of us. "You've all just passed the first exam!", he stated.

Everyone were confused as they process just what he said, they all began celebrating. I look down at my paper with Ibiki's head drawn on it.

"All 84 of you still here...You've all passed the first exam."

"What?! What about the tenth question?!", I tuned them off and turned to Sasuke.

Sasuke scoffed giving me a disbelief look. "You knew.", he stated and I just giggled.

"I win, keep your promise."

He sighed first before stuffing his hands on his pocket. "I got it. But, this exam is basically pointless."

"Ibiki-san's test is about sticking with the mission no matter how scared you are. Unfortunately for him, tactics like that don't work if your opponent is too stupid when to be afraid.", I stated and he snickered as he look at a certain blonde.

"--you were given two options, both dangerous and having different consequences. However, if you all successfully become Chunin, you'll face decisions even more difficult than that! No Chunin can get away with only taking the safe jobs. There will be instances when you are forced to endanger the lives of not only yourself but of your comrades."

"However, there are some missions that you simply cannot decline. A ninja ready to become a Chunin must have a certain charisma that inspires those around him or her and helps erase all fear and doubt. They must know how to gamble with their own fate, without knowing what might happen tomorrow. "

"By accepting the question, you all have proved to me that you have that certain charismatic trait. Keep it up and you will be able to get through any challenges you might face. The first part of the Chunin exams are now concluded! I hope you all fight the good fight."

I stretched my arms a little and the guys in the room was about to cheer when the windows broke and out came in the hottest woman in the village.

She stood in front of a black screen with words written on it. She grinned at us. "This is no time to celebrating! I'm Mitarashi Anko! Proctor of the second exam! You ready for the next exam?! Follow me then you brats!"

Ahh...how long did I wait for this? My fingers are twitching to kill the people who never stopped on glaring at me.

Anko pumped her fist in the air, "Alright you maggots have it easy so far! But things are gonna be different starting from tomorrow morning! I'll let your squad leaders where to meet me! Then dismissed!"
