Chapter 11- Naruto

Alexa's POV

Meeting Naruto is probably the biggest occurrence that happened to me eversince I was thrown here. Well, I was destined to meet him afterall if I have to destroy this place.

But, for now, that's not the issue.

How do I meet the hokage? And gain his trust?

Easy become a shinobi.

That's the problem.

How do I become a shinobi wherein I can gain his trust like Kakashi and stay by his side?

And just how the fuck should I even meet him?!

Those fanfictions lied. It was hard. Real hard. To meet him. Yes, he does walk around the village from time to time but, he have more than a dozen A-rank ANBU following him to guard and protect him.

I was looking outside the window from up above as I watch down below little Ino Yamanaka and Sakura Haruno give him flowers. He was chuckling giving his grandpa vibe.

This old geezer.

I accidentally snapped the pencil I was holding in to two because of anger.

Behind those smiles.

Lies a murderer.

He patted their heads and the kids laughed heartedly.

I was jealous.

I wished I could run around happy go lucky like those children.

He suddenly looked up and I gasp a little when I met his gaze. He smiled and I panicked so I slid the curtain and closed the window.

I was hyperventilating and I clutch my chest.

'Damn it.'

I couldn't properly control this body. It's acting like it has another mind.

Now, that's scary.

I peeked and looked down to see him bidding his goodbyes to the kids and strolled around. He was waving here and there as the people called him, hokage-sama this, hokage-sama that.

I looked behind him. And I could only spot around 3 ANBU.

My sensory skills aren't that great yet.

I have to train harder.

After I sealed away the Ryuugamine chakra, I had a hard time learning jutsus. But, if I open it now, they can surely track me down and kill me on the spot.

I have to learn handicapped.

I sighed out loud.

This is way harder than I thought.

I was broken out of my tracks and walked over to the door. To be careful I have to check who it is. I looked trough the peephole and saw Tatsumi-jiisan. Smiling I opened the door.

"Tatsumi-jiisan."

"Oh, yo. Lhexi-chan. Congratulations you passed the exam with full marks. Your teachers said you should come to classes starting from tomorrow. Don't worry I made sure that your around your classmates' age."

I took the paper from his hand. "Thank you, Tatsumi-jiisan."

"No problem."

I read the written words and smiled when I heard a fake cough from Tatsumi.

"So uhm, can I have your new released book, the one that's on premiere two weeks later."

"Figured your gonna ask for that so here it is.", I dropped him a great number of 5 books. "The whole series."

He was gaping and already itchy about reading it.

"Wanna come in for a cup of tea?"

He immediately refused.

"N-no. I-I mean I already had one. Then I'll go now. Ba-bye!", I watched him dash off excitedly.

I closed the door and prepared my lunch when I heard another knock. I turned off the stove and wiped my hands first before sighing as I open the door.

I narrowed my eyes when I saw no one. Then I felt it. Someone was watching me. Who? It was like that time when I helped Naruto.

Don't tell me.

The hokage's crystall ball!

I forgot.

Naruto was always been watched over by either the hokage or some shinobis.

I let my guard down that moment.

I acted like I knew nothing and looked around first before closing the door but, still felt his watch.

He must be curious about me for befriending a so called monster.

I continued cooking until I was finished and ate my lunch before reading another book again until I couldn't felt his presence anymore. I read around 4 books before it was already evening.

Tomorrow I will meet more characters.

Nothing could possibly go wrong, right?

Naruto's POV

I sighed again as I plop my head on the table.

"Lhexi-chan...", I mumbled.

I haven't seen her again after a few weeks and I can't help but feel down about it. She was my first friend afterall.

"Oi, Naruto, you okay? I've notice you've been down lately.", I heard Shikamaru ask as Choji bit on to anither chip.

"It's...nothing...", I turned my head around.

"He sure is acting weird.", this time it was Choji.

"It's unusual to see the class clown and knucklehead go all quiet."

"Yeah right, Shikamaru...", they exchanged glances when I let out another sigh.

I saw a pink hair and I thought I would go hyperactive again to see Sakura-chan but, I felt nothing. I no longer felt the same like I did back when we were younger. I now don't have the same feelings for Sakura-chan.

"Hey guys, did you hear? Ryuu just had his new book released today.", I listened as I don't have anything to do anyways.

"Really?!"

'Its just a book why are they going hype over it?'

"I can't wait.", girls and boys were squealing in delight.

"You know what? I just started reading one of his books last night and I can't help but, fall in love I couldn't almost sleep."

They laughed and I just snorted as I hear them chatting among themselves.

"Shika, who is Ryuu?", I heard Choji asks.

"Like hell I know. He's just another writer I guess."

Like any other day girls were swarming around teme. I wonder what's so great about him? All he does is brood all day.

The door suddenly opened and everyone rushed to their seats as I sit up straight to see Iruka-sensei smiling behind the teacher's table.

"Quiet down class, starting from today you have a new classmate so treat her nicely okay?"

"HAII!!!", we responded and everyone were gushing as to who it would be.

Sensei moved his body towards the door and motioned for someone to come inside. "You can come inside now."

I saw a hem of a dark red clothe and I stood up once I saw the girl's face. Everyone did not even noticed me standing up for their attention was on the beautiful girl walking with such elegance and charisma. It was quiet as her luscious black hair dangled to the air as she close her eyes and open them once again.

She stopped beside sensei and turned towards us. She was wearing a red hakoma with dragon patterns normally for male but she looked cool with it. It was tucked in inside her black pants, her hands were behind her back as she smile and looked towards sensei.

"Go on, introduce yourself."

She nodded and everyone slightly leaned forward to hear her voice as she part her pink lips.

"My name is Takeda Alexa, nice to meet you all.", she bowed and a few gushes were heard.

She stood up straight and roamed her eyes around. I felt her eyes on me slighty longer than others. I wanted to yell so bad right now, but I don't wanna embarass her so I just sat.

"Any questions?", almost everyone raised their hands when Iruka-sensei asked.

Lhexi-chan pointed at Kiba and I noticed Akamaru barked.

"You with the cute puppy."

"Where are you from? Never saw you here before."

Her eyes never wavered and answered. "I'm actually from the Land of Waterfalls."

"Ehhh...", Kiba placed his hand down.

She pointed at another person.

"What's your speciality?", she just placed her index finger on her chin.

"Taijutsu, I guess."

"You with the pretty cherry blossom hair.", I noticed how Sakura-chan's face turned from a glare to a slight bewilderment.

"Uhm...do you like anyone here from this class?", Lhexi-chan blinked her eyes and suddenly chuckled I almost gushed out loud at her cute reaction.

"I'm sorry, for now I guess none. But I would love to know each one of you.", she spoke with such maturity.

"Alright that's enough questions. You can ask her later after class.", the whole room grumbled.

"Choose any free seat you want, Alexa."

"Hai, sensei.", I looked around and noticed that there was a free seat next to teme. She walked towards it and in the corner of my eyes I thought I saw the bastard looking at her.

I looked down and sighed.

I guess she doesn't recognize me.

"Akimichi-san, can you scoot over?", I heard a familliar voice and chose to ignore it.

"Naruto...! That lucky bastard...!", someone near me groaned in annoyance and jealousy.

"Sure.", Shikamaru and Choji shuffled in their seats.

I just stared at the table when I was yanked by the back of my collar.

"Oi, idiot, she wants to sit next to you...!", I blinked my eyes from Shikamaru to the girl standing beside me.

"O-oh right...!", I immediately moved and she sat where I used to sit and I stared at her for a couple seconds.

"Hey there, Naruto.", she was smiling as she brought out her notebook and pencil.

"Lhexi-chan...", I laughed and scratched my head.

So she does remember me.

Through out the whole morning, I just watched her as she neatly write on the paper as she look from sensei to her book.

She nudge me and I looked towards sensei as he turned around and looked at me.

'Phew. That was close.'

Before I knew it, it was already lunch and everyone went out with their friends or stayed in their seats to eat.

Lhexi-chan stood up. "Hey guys, wanna eat together?", she asked to the three of us before the others could even ask her.

We all agreed and went under one of the trees. Then, I forgot.

I was so lost in my thoughts, I forgot that I never brought a bento box with me as they pulled out theirs. I always eat alone at Ichiraku Ramen shop.

I was about to stand up when Lhexi-chan held my hand.

"Hey Naruto, here.", she gave me a lunch box and I looked towards her, she was looking down unwrapping hers.

'She cooked for me...?'

I grinned widely. "Thank you, Lhexi-chan!", she just smiled.

We began eating and the others introduced themselves.

"Nara Shikamaru, call me Shika for short."

"I'm Akimichi Choji, woah! What's that?! Can I taste it?", Lhexi-chan gave him what looks like a meat between loaves of bread with some cheese and lettuce.

I opened the lunchbox and saw a lot of delicious foods. I picked one and brought it to my mouth.

"Delicious!", I said out loud and she just chuckled.

"You have rice all over your mouth Naruto.", she said as Choji laugh.

I'm not alone anymore.

Alexa's POV

School is boring. It works like how it did back on Earth but, it was more advanced. They were teaching fucking Algebra on 10 year old kids. I wonder how these characters even solve them. If I was mentally in the same age as them, I might just as well end up like Naruto.

Thanks to my past knowledge, I was able to atleast answer them correctly. I looked beside me to see Naruto and Shikamaru sleeping on their test papers. The only difference is that Shika had all the questions answered while Naruto's was empty.

Choji and I nudged them both to wake them up before Iruka-sensei catches them.

Well sadly.

They got caught before they even woke up.

"Uzumaki Naruto! Nara Shikamaru! Stand on the hallway this instant!", sensei have to literally drag them out when the bell rang.

"Those two, really.", I watch them try to get out of Iruka-sensei's grasp.

An hour already passed and I was waiting for naruto outside the academy while I sit on the popular swing.

I remembered a legendary song from Naruto shippuden and chose to sing it to pass the time.

"habataitara modoranai to itte"

I stopped.

I like my voice.

I smiled before continuing.

"mezashita no wa aoi aoi ano sora"

I looked towards the blue sky as I move forward and backwards on the swing.

I inhaled to continue the song when I spotted Naruto looking at me in a daze. I stood up and waved my hand.

"Naruto!", I yelled and walked towards him.

"Lhexi-chan? What are you doing here?"

I just smiled.

"I was waiting for you. Did you already forgot? Didn't you promised me you would treat me to ramen today?", I ask slightly irritated.

"OH! Sorry! Let's go then!", I took his hand and entwingled mine around his.

I first have to earn this boy's love, respect and trust.

Before I move on to the next step.

He grinned brightly with a slight flush on his cheeks.

For one moment I felt guilty.

'Damn it. Stop smiling like that.'

We arrived on the Ichiraku Ramen shop and I inhaled the delicious aroma of ramen.

"Oh, Naruto?", Ayame looked towards the two of us then to our connected hands before smiling smugly. "Oh hoho, so you brought your beautiful girlfriend today, huh?"

"Huh?! W-What girlfriend? She's my friend from the academy!", Naruto insisted with a bright flush on his face as he sat down.

"Koninchiwa.", I greeted to which she bowed slightly. "Koninchiwa.", she turned to Naruto when I sat on one of the stools.

"Then why were you holding hands?", she continued on teasing the poor boy.

"T-That's because...", he looked towards me, begging for help.

"I held his hand so I won't get lost.", I said and she grinned at Naruto.

"What?!", he ask visibly annoyed and embarrassed.

"Nothing. So what are your orders?"

"I want Miso Ramen!", she looked towards me.

"I'll have that one too.", she and his dad started cooking as I wait for the food.

"By the way, what the your name, little girl?", Teuchi asked.

"Its Takeda Alexa."

"Alexa, huh? That's a rather unique name."

"Yes, I hear that a lot."

"Ne ne ne, Lhexi-chan.", my eyes darted to Naruto with the chopsticks between his nose and lips. "What's the meaning of Alexa?"

I raised an eybrow as I put my finger on my chin.

Now that Naruto ask it.

I suddenly remembered my parents.

I flicked his forehead.

"That hurts.", it slightly turned red as he rub it.

"It's a S-E-C-R-E-T."

"Ehhh?! Another one?!", I nodded my head.

"Two miso ramen here you go!", I picked up my chopsticks and began eating.

I looked at it and tasted it again.

Woah.

Now I know why Naruto eats here almost everyday.

"It's delicious."

"Right?!"

I continued eating.

"Ichiraku Ramen is the best!", we laughed at Naruto's comment as we continue eating.

I looked around me, from Naruto to Teuchi to Ayame. They were all smiling happily.

I even forgot what being happy means.

And I will take it away from them.

'I'm such a monster.'

I closed my eyes and plop on my bed then turned around. I heard the curtains sway and looked towards it. The door to the balcony was wide opened. I slightly shivered at the coldness of the night amd was about to close it when I saw a familiar silhouette.

I squinted my eyes and I recognized immediately the boy with the spiky black hair and charcoal eyes. He was staring err... glaring at the railings and I laughed at how cute the boy looked. His eyes turned to the bright full moon and it slightly softened.

At one moment I realized.

I also have to kill him.

Just how many souls do I have to take in order to fulfill my promise?

Ten? A hundred? A thousand?

I had to kill every person I looked at.

'I want to stop.'

My heart tightened again, I bit my lower lip in pain.

I calmed myself down and looked at Sasuke again then our eyes met.

Black met purple.

I smiled at him and bowed slightly then turned around to close the door as I slid down the curtain.

I do not wish to talk to him and make myself look like a lunatic talking to a wall. And he might mistake me for a fangirl, nobody wants that. Except Sakura I guess.

I drifted off to sleep and continued my new lifestyle here in Konoha. I would train early in the morning, attend the academy, hang out with Naruto or sometimes with other kids, then learn new jutsus in the afternoon.

I never showed my true capabilities in any field of activity and just remained average and a little bit showy at Taijutsu. I have to remain under the shadows afterall. Or else I'll attract misfortunes like Danzo.

In the blink of an eye almost two years have already passed. I looked at the calendar and smiled at the date encircled.

'October 10'

I grabbed my wallet and went outside to buy my gifts and some food other than ramen for Naruto.

"That would be 1700 ryo, little girl.", I brought out the money and gave it to the cashier. "Thank you very much please come again.", I just nodded and carried the bags when I bump into someone.

"I'm sorry!", I apologized immediately.

"Look where you're going, ttebayo!", I narrowed my eyes at the blonde boy on the ground with his goggles on.

"Naruto?"

"Lhexi-chan?"

I dropped the bags and helped him up.

"What are you doing here, Lhexi-chan? We have classes today, dattebayo.", I flicked his forehead.

"It's a S-E-C-R-E-T."

"Another one?! Ehh! Wait, this is the first time you skipped classes Lhexi-chan."

I just smiled at him and pulled my hand from his as I took the bags.

"Just tell Iruka-sensei I had some family emergency."

He blinked his eyes and nodded.

"Lhexi-chan...uhm...", he looked away as he scratch the back of his hair.

"What's wrong, Naruto?"

"The truth is today is actually my--"

I suddenly hear a yell from across the street and saw a green figure.

"NARUTO!!!"

"Dammit. Gotta go. Bye, Lhexi-chan!", he dashed off as Iruka-sensei chased after him and did not even noticed me.

I walked towards my apartment first to get the cake I baked then went to his and felt two pairs of eyes on me

'ANBU'

The door was unlocked so I opened it and began cleaning the house. There's a lot more trashes than I thought. I washed his clothes and thoroughly mopped the floor it sparkled.

I began decorating the house with bright colored materials and arranged everything in order. The sun was already setting and Naruto still did not showed up.

I turned off the lights when I felt his chakra signature just 10 meters away.

The door suddenly opened and my heart ached when he said the next words.

Naruto's POV

"I'm home.", I said as I enter my apartment.

Why do I have to say that it's not like someone's waiting for me. I removed my shoes and went to the dining area to get some cup ramen and celebrate my birthday alone again.

I turned the switch on and I was shocked when I heard something 'pop', I immediately covered my eyes with my arm. Nothing seems to be happening. I brought it down and saw someone I did not expected to be here.

A beautiful girl my age was standing infront of me holding a cake.

"Lhexi-chan...what are you doing...here?", she brought the cake closer to me and smiled genuinely.

"To celebrate your birthday, ofcourse."

I couldn't think anything.

"My birthday?"

"Yup. Welcome home.", she tilted her head to the side. "Happy birthday, Naruto."

Tears flowed to my cheeks as I try to hold them back.

Someone...

Someone actually...

I'm so happy, I couldn't even explain it.

I looked around and saw gifts and decorations all over the room.

"These are all actually for me...?", I ask in disbelief.

I wiped my tears away and she looked at me with such a gentle gaze. She placed the cake on the table and I motioned for me to sit. She placed something on my head, a hat.

She stood across the table and began singing.

"Happy birthday to you~

Happy birthday to you~"

I just stared at her as I listen to her angelic voice singing me happy birthday.

She was clapping her hands as she slightly dance from side to side.

"Happy 12th birthday Naruto. Now blow the candles.", I was about to when she stopped me. "But, first make a wish."

"A wish?"

She nodded and I clasped my hands in excitement.

"I wish..."

'We could be always together like this.'

"...to become the hokage so everyone will acknowledge my existence!"

She blinked her eyes and chuckled at me as I blow the candles.

Throughout the night she accompanied me as we ate in my apartment. I opened all the gift boxes and found a lot of new things. Ninja tools, scrolls, books, new clothes, snacks, you name it all.

This is the best day ever!

I looked at her sleeping form as the moon illuminated her porcelain skin. She was so gorgeous. I shifted on the bed and just watched her silently sleeping like a baby. I gently tucked her hair to the side of her face as it was sprayed all over in a beautiful pattern.

Her eyes.

Her nose.

Her lips.

Her hair.

Her smile.

Her voice.

Her personality.

I love them.

I love everything about her.

I remembered that day when I first met her. Little did I know our friendship would grow so much. I'm so lucky to have her as a friend. She saved me from the pits of my loneliness.

"Arigatou, Lhexi-chan..."

I looked at her once again before I drifted off to sleep.
