chapter 9

filming season 3 of percy jackson and the olympians the titans curse

Walkers POV

it was 7am on a monday, i was already up fromwaking up super early mainly because im really excited to shoot season 3 today, we did the table reads and today we shoot the first episode.

i was a bit nervous...especially after everything thats happened, but i knew i was gonna nail this whole 'percy being worried about annabeth' thing because of how much i already worry about leah in real life, it was a channeling thing for me.

leah wasn't gonna be in many episodes but percy was gonna dream about annabeth so she'll be in my dreams, i waited for leah as she got ready, i was downstairs eating breakfast that i tried desperately to cook but i don't know the eggs taste burnt or something..

i shook my head throwing the food away and just agreed to myself that we will go out to get food, soon after leah came downstairs dressed comfortably but beautiful, we might have to start our combat training today because we literally have to fight for like the first episode so she just decided on some sweats and cropped t shirt and her nike tech hoodie, well my hoodie.

her beautiful curly braids were put into a messy bun, she had a bit of makeup on but not too much because of the amount of sweating we may get into today, but she still looked beautiful as always, her eyebrows furrowed as she looked around "walker where the food? im hungry..." she said searching for the breakfast i cooked, but it wasn't safe so i threw it away

"dont worry we can get breakfast from mcdonald's on the way, the breakfast i made was horrible you wouldn't have liked it" i said making her giggle a bit, i kissed her cheek "its not always bad but you do make your eggs way better fried then scrambled, and your waffles are better then your pancakes...but your bacon is always SO good..i still would've ate it my love" she smiled, i smiled back at her at we left the house locking the door behind us and made our way into my car

"oh leah i love you, no matter what you always make me feel good for trying " i laughed as she laughed too, i started the car and then headed to mcdonalds and then to combat training right after

we started our combat training and i did a lot of sparring with dior and charlie, and a few other people who plays villains this season, i did sparring with dior too and leah just for the fun of it but soon after we had too start filming the first scene

when we arrived on set everything seemed so different, well mostly, a whole new season and a whole new set..everything was definitely changing, we all went to our trailers to get dressed up and ready for the first scene, once we were done we made it to our way to the Westover hall set for the first scene

it was gonna be me (percy) , annabeth, thalia and of course grover but he comes in in like the second or third scene, thalia was played by tamara smart, we met her during the table reads and chemistry reads, she seems really cool and her, leah, and dior instantly became close.

we started filming and surprisingly everyone did so well especially me and leah considering the things that have happened recently, but one thing about it we never let it get in the way of our job, we love doing this show and it shows in our work ethnicities.

"OK that's a wrap on episode one good job guys! head to your trailers for a break " the director yelled, i was pretty tired but not too badly i was ready to start filming episode two before heading home, i decided to go to leah's trailer to take a quick nap after eating something.

i went inside and inhaled the scent, her trailer smelled exactly like her, vanilla and coconuts..she wasn't here rn because she was still  finishing up, but soon after she came inside and looked exhausted.

she came next to me and instantly sat down and cuddled into me, i wrapped my arms around her "you okay baby? you hungry?" i asked her, she nodded laying her head on my chest "im exhausted already, a bit hungry yes but mostly tired.. i knew i should've been going to the gym more before filming again..my energy isn't the same " she said softly i was sure she was gonna fall asleep on me soon but i didn't move her

"we can take a nap together baby and when we wake up get some food, the food table is filled with a lot too eat today i even saw sushi" i smiled at her as we cuddled more into the blanket getting comfy.

soon after we fell asleep.

"walker....walker! wake up we have to eat something and start shooting again" i heard leah, i fluttered my eyes opened and groaned "20 minutes passed already?" i asked looking at the time on my phone, she nodded laughing " yes aryan woke me up on time thank goodness, but come on we gotta get something to eat" she said reaching for my hand, i held her and we got up and went to the food table, i got some of the fried chicken and mac and cheese, leah's mom made the chicken and my mom made the mac and cheese, it was so good i really loved mac and cheese

if ykyk, and leah's mom always makes the best chicken its unbelievable, how does she do it? "she marinates it in seasoning and buttermilk the night before cooking it..mustard keeps the color pretty and very light flour, nobody likes chicken with wayyyyy too much flour, and the seasonings are simple, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and slap ya momma seasoning and the mustard and buttermilk also adds flavor one day when we have time i'll make it for you" leah said practically reading my mind, i must've been eyeing the chicken down trying to figure out why and how it was so good that she noticed

"i would love that please, i would get more but aryan ate most of them!" i said glaring at aryan and his plates, yes i said plates...i swear he eats like grover in real life he was two plates full of chicken and one plate with whatever else, "hey don't judge me scobell! the combat training built a big appetite!" he said pulling his plates close too him, i laughed shaking my head.

"well atleast you got a few pieces he left the rest of us with basically nothing!" dior said pouting eating her food, she only had mac and cheese, vegetables and tenders...which wasn't bad but everyone loves leah's mom's food, so i get her pain.

after we all ate we headed back to start filming episode two and this is where i start my anger about loosing annabeth..which is gonna be easy of course.

"andddd cut! that's a great job guys especially you walker! i almost cried watching it! now everyone get cleaned up to head on home ill see you guys tomorrow!" the director yelled and we all said our goodbyes until tomorrow, i wiped my eyes from the tears, it really wasn't hard making myself cry.. just thought about if i ever lost leah and i couldn't hold the tears in.

everyone told me how good i did before heading out and i went to leah "you did good seaweed brain, those tears seemed so real" she said i put my arm around her as we walked back to my car "wellll technically they were real..i just imagined if that happened for real and the tears just came...leah i don't know how im gonna survive this season..i mean combat with aryan and everyone else is great but..i truly feel like my anger for loosing you is really gonna show this season..almost like it was real" i said pouting, i saw me and leah in percy and annabeth a lot and i constantly referred to them as me and leah whenever i talked about him.

the fans always notice it in interviews even before me and leah started dating, and it's what always kept the fans shipping us and wanting us together, i always acknowledged leah in a way nobody else would. "it's okay walker it's not real, once the cameras turn off im right there..always, but im also really proud of you..and seeing you stress over me like that? it was kinda hot not gonna lie " she giggled blushing, i turned her towards me cupping her face.

when her eyes looked up to me i swear i felt something in me flutter, she was the most beautiful girl i have ever laid eyes on, i don't know how she did it but has me so whipped for her..."god leah your beautiful you know that right?" i said whispering too her and i pulled her in closer to me, caressing her cheek gently, she melted in my arms burying her face in my hand, like a puppy with its owner.

she was breathtakingly beautiful, a kind of beautiful that seemed unreal, "i love you seaweed brain...i love you so much " she said looking me in my eyes, i leaned in kissing her softly on her lips, the kiss was perfect i mean every kiss we've ever shared was perfect but this one was just magical i can't even explain it.

it was like i fell for her all over again i don't know how she does it, when we finally pulled away i smiled and kissed her forehead "i love you more wise girl, now lets go home" i said as i opened the door for her to get in, then i jogged over tothe passenger side but before i could get in i heard someone call my name

"walker scobell!" i heard makenzie call out, i sighed annoyed and turned around, what does she want now? why now?! "girl what do you want?!" i said angrily she walked up to me and held up a picture..it was clearly photoshopped...but it looked so real

it was a picture of me and her kissing, i slightly looked over my shoulder praying leah didn't notice this "oh don't worry your little girlfriend put her airpods in she can't hear a thing..but i got something she definitely wouldn't want to see going viral" she said dastardly waving the picture around "seriously? its clearly fake..i was out with the guys that day..they will know makenzie like be real" i said rolling my eyes and turning away

but before i could she kept going "oh not just this, you do realize AI is a thing now right? i can make anything look believable, phone calls, text messages, paparazzi pictures, anything walker...you see your mine and the fact your running around with this bitch? it has to stop..you know i don't like her..and you know she in NOT your annabeth! dont worry ill be back" she said smirking evilly and walking away into the night

i froze, i mean i know leah trust me but seriously if she can make anything look real we, i mean I have a big problem on my hands...i probably should tell leah ahead of time before it happens, oh no she's probably not gonna believe me..she thinks makenzie has good intentions..but i cant doubt leah she's my everything, i know she will believe me.

i sighed heavily and got in the car, leah look at me taking her airpods out "you okay? you took forever to get in i assumed you forgot something inside" she said looking at me, but i guess when she realized how motionless i looked she went concerned "walker? what's wrong?" i sighed playing with my fingers as she watched my every move "uh...i gotta tell you something, i just saw makenzie " i said and leah's eyebrows furrowed "at this time? what do you mean ? what did she say?" leah asked worriedly "leah she's trying to frame me for cheating on you, she said she can make phone calls, text messages, pictures! literally anything look real! she said she hates you and she wants to break us up...i hate her and she just won't stop!" i said getting angry

leah held my hands and calmed me down "walker hey it's okay! it's okay! she can never break us up! ever! all we have to do is call her bluff and make the world see she's lying...it'll be okay" she said reassuringly but i was still very worried "yeah im good that you believe me and you know i would never do that, but the fans..the media...people won't just believe she's lying..i know you understand how this is gonna look...bad for all of us" i said running my hands through my hair

leah sighed when she realized i was kinda right "i know...but we can't let her break us we are better then that, and you know it walker and our real fans will know it too" she said holding my hands,i kissed her passionately, i was thankful for leah i was thankful she believed me.

i shouldn't have even doubted her a bit, leah has always been smart that way, to see through peoples bs i guess i got a little scared because she tends to see the good in people aswell and it tends to block her from seeing people's real intentions, but leah's strong and she knows how to handle it.

"i know you would never hurt me that way, i know it walker" she said smiling and kissed my cheek "you better know it, there's nobody else in this world for me but you..i love you girl" i said looking at her beautiful eyes, she looked into mine blushing "i love you too boy!" she said as she kissed my nose

i started the car and we drove home, the ride was peaceful as i had my hand on leah's lap gently gripping her thigh, rubbing it every once and a while in a comforting way, i was still a bit worried about this whole makenzie situation but honestly knowing leah will never believe anything makenzie says or let her come between us makes me feel more confident then worried.

i guess the worried part is the media and fans, some people will most likely believe makenzie and bully leah for staying with a 'cheater' and i'm worried the hate leah gets will be much worse, it's scared me thinking of it.

i know leah's strong and she had to deal with hate before but she doesn't deserve it, and she may act like she can handle it but i know leah, she doesn't do well with people being mean to her, let alone half the world.. i gripped her leg a bit tighter but not too much too hurt her, i couldn't help feeling more protective of her then ever now..

i don't want to see her get hurt

currently rewatching season one of percy jackson and i miss them sooo bad, i can't wait for season two🥹 it better be so many percabeth moments and it better go exactly how i think it's gonna go haha! anyways i hope you enjoyed this chapter. new chapter coming tomorrow love you <3
