Chapter 16 Reunion

In the flat that Theresa Apocalypse has rented in Nagazora, the girls are discussing their future plans.

"Principal, we should try to enter the ME corp to make contact with AE. I am sure they will be more welcoming to us especially if I could talk to my father in this timeline." Mei said looking at Theresa while cleaning her Katana. They are in the commons room with Mei and Theresa sitting on the sofa.

"Wouldn't your father be suspicious of you? to him, his daughter is still a little girl" Fu Hua said as she sips on her Ti Kuan Yin tea, whilst sitting on the dining table not far from the sofas.

"Bronya agrees with Mei, Bronya thinks that going to ME corp is the best course of action. That is the only way we could contact the AE at this time since we cannot go to NA by plane without any documents." Bronya said as she is sipping chocolate milk sitting across Fu Hua with Seele by her side.

"We could just storm the building, bee-line to my father's office, and meet him there. I remember the way inside the building." Mei said as she puts her katana back into its scabbard and dematerialized it into thin air.

"Mei, why do you sound more like Kiana? you can't just go guns blazing inside or your father will not believe us when we basically force our way in." Durandal sigh.

Suddenly they all flinched, and look out the window. All is normal but they can feel Honkai energy rising in the air.

"Principal, I think it comes from there" Mei pointed to the tall building in the distance

"Wait, that building is.." Theresa said as she stood up

"The ME Corp" Mei said, standing up, and walks towards the door. "Let's go"

and then an explosion is heard.

A couple of minutes prior

Phoenix is en route to the ME Corp HQ on a shuttle.

"Phoenix, I want you to land on the ME Corp HQ. As we know, ME corp has ties to AE so we want to send them a message. I already asked them for an agent of Schicksal to come and inspect the property with the reasoning of detecting some Honkai energy inside the buildings. After you landed, eject and use the glider parachute, and leave the scene immediately" Overseer Otto is on the comms module in front of Phoenix who is piloting the shuttle.

"What about the shuttle?" Phoenix asked.

"Leave them to me, I will remote control it from here" Otto said.

Phoenix doesn't question the order. She knew that this man is up to no good, but it is not like she can do anything about it.

She saw the ME Corp HQ building and prepares to land on the Helipad on the roof of the building. A group of people is waiting near the Helipad, presumably guides for her.

She proceeded to land the aircraft, as the pads touch the ground, she immediately pulls the ejection lever and ejected the aircraft.

Shouts of surprise sounded from the people waiting for her near the helipad as the smoke cleared with no sign of her. The people started to come near the aircraft to investigate when the engines started to glow pink and the air is filled with a pink hue.

"The engines are about to explode, run!" One of the people shouted, heading towards the door leading to the inside of the building. People scrambled towards the door as the engine glows brighter and the body of the aircraft near the engine started to melt. About 10 seconds since the engine started glowing, the amount of energy inside the engine is too great for the engine casing to hold and exploded in a pink fireball, baking everyone that is still on the roof while severely injuring people inside the stairwell.

The blast vaporized the aircraft, and the helipad and the topmost floor of the building has major damage to their structure due to the force of the explosion. Concrete, steel, and corpses or part of them started to rain down from the building down to the shocked on-lookers who is looking up at the explosion forgetting that they could be crushed by the countless debris falling towards them. The debris crashed into the ground, crushing anyone that is standing beneath it, people screamed as they try to escape from the region as blood and limbs splattered coming from the people that were on the helipad as well as people crushed by the debris. A big piece of concrete crushed a car parked on the side of the road killing the driver instantly. On the back seat of the car was two figure an adult woman who is hugging tightly a small girl as if to protect her.

The air around started to glow pink as a huge Honkai energy has been released due to the decomposition of the Honkai fuel rods inside the engine of the aircraft. The people on the streets started to notice the effect as their skin started to turn white and dark blue-purplish veins started to emerge, symptoms of Honkai radiation, if not treated they could turn into zombies.

The scene is absolute carnage as people try to run away only to find that their feet are no longer responding to them as the cells died of acute Honkai radiation poisoning. Inside the building, it is also chaos but due to ME Corp being affiliated with AE, there are Honkai-resistant rooms inside every 10 floors for people to seek refuge in the case of a Honkai disaster.

Far above, in the skies, a drone is flying around the building, sending footage of the carnage directly to the Overseer's desk.

"The bait has been set, all that is left is to wait for the fish to arrive" Otto said as he smiles and lift up his glass of wine.

Near the ME Corp Building

People are laying on the streets as the Honkai radiation spreads across the city. The emergency personnel that tried to help the civilians also succumbed to Honkai radiation. People near the building has turned into zombies and started attacking those who are still fighting for their life.

Theresa, Mei, Bronya, Seele, and Fu Hua ran towards the entrance of the building while killing the unfortunate civilians who has turned into zombies.

"Wait, that car?" Mei stopped and look at the car that was crushed by the huge debris.

"What is it Mei?" Theresa looked back and ask.

Mei didn't answer and ran towards the car, easily lifting up the debris and throwing it into a nearby group of zombies crushing them. She forcefully open the back door and carried the two figures inside.

As the group saw the 2 figures...

"Wait Mei, she looks like you" Durandal said

"This is probably my mom, I don't really remember her that well since she died when I was young, she is still alive, but has some radiation marks, let's get inside and treat her" Mei said as she walk towards the entrance of the building while princess carrying her mom and the small figure.

"Wait, Bronya think that the kid is Mei" Bronya said

"She looks like her" Seele added.

"Probably, of course, I don't remember what I looked like when I was little and there is no photograph of my childhood." Mei said

They all entered the building into the lobby. Mei puts down her mom near the receptionist's desk and injected the Honkai-Neutralizing serum that she had brought since she turn Herrscher as a precaution in case her Honkai power bleeds too much into the surrounding air as she is still getting used to controlling her power.

As Mei injected the serum, a group of footsteps resounded in the hallway beyond the receptionist's desk. A group of bodyguards arrived running, in the center, a middle age man is running with them.

"Aoi, Mei" The man run towards the two figures laying on the ground. Only then that he noticed the 6 other people in the room. "Who are you people?" He asked them warily

"We save these two from the car over there, she has some Honkai radiation symptoms so I injected an anti-Honkai serum, she should be fine now and her symptoms have subsided. Although there are some wounds, it is not life-threatening." Mei said while looking at the man.

"Who are you? why do you have an Anti-honkai serum? why do you look a lot like my wife?" The man asked.

Before Mei could answer, a group of 40 Knights entered the building followed by some zombies. The Knights have materialized themselves because of the thick Honkai energy.

"There are too many of them" one of the bodyguards said

"Raiden-sama, we need to withdraw" another one replied

As they said that, chains appeared and bound the Knights. These chains belong to the Oath of Judah which is wielded by Theresa. When she saw the Knights, she materialized the weapon and aim at immobilizing them. As the Knights are immobilized, they are easy picking for Seele, Durandal, Bronya, and Fu Hua who defeat all the Knights and the zombies.

The man and the bodyguards are stunned, who are these strong girls who can defeat so many Knights? even one of those would need a lot of people to subdue, and even then the casualties will be high.

"Are those girls valkyries?" One of the bodyguards said

Valkyries are well-known as the bread and butter of Schichksal's Anti-Honkai Forces and they know how powerful they are.

"Fiuhhhh, nice work girls" Theresa said to the girls as she recalled her weapon

"Principal, I think I could absorb the ambient Honkai energy inside the air to reduce the chances that the beast will spawn" Mei said

"Alright, absorb them" Theresa ordered Mei

Mei summoned her Herrscher form causing a disturbance in the crowd of bodyguards as Mei's form has horns and a purple ring right behind her back, suggesting that she is not human. She then raises her hand and purple particles started to accumulate on her hands as her body glows pink. The Honkai concentration has dropped significantly and the pinkish air has returned to its original color.

"How are you feeling Mei" Durandal asked

"I'm fine, maybe I should have left some for you to absorb Bronya" Mei replied

"Nyet, I will decline the offer" Bronya replied as she cross her hands making a X shape.

"Anyways, maybe you should explain the situation to your father over there Mei?" Fu Hua said as all of them turn their eyes to the man.

"Wait what? you are my daughter?" The man asks in disbelief.

At that moment....

Slightly earlier

In Liana's Ward

After waking up and eating breakfast, she decided to tell Aunt Teri about it. Sirin is inside also playing with Kiana's hair with Bella also tying Sirin's hair.

"I see, so Himeko turns into a Herrscher, you and Hua are injured, and then Kevin arrived to save the day? Hmmm, I don't know what I should think about this." Aunt Teri said.

As they are discussing that Einstein entered

"A Honkai explosion has been reported on the ME corp building, one of our supporters located in Nagazora, we already dispatched a team to help them but Nagazora is still in Schicksal's control, plus based on the report, the explosion originated from a Schicksal shuttle that landed to inspect a report of honkai energy appearing inside the HQ. They also said numerous people have turned into zombies and honkai beasts have been sighted" Einstein explained.

Tesla comes in after her

"I called it BS, it must be that blonde bastard that thinks of a plan like this, I am sure he is smiling somewhere drinking wine." Tesla exclaimed angrily.

"Wait, did you say ME Corp? it is Mei-senpai parent's company" Liana immediately leave the bed.

"Liana, wait up..." Aunt Teri stands up from the chair she was sitting in but couldn't stop Liana as she summoned a portal and jump into it.

"Tsk, stupid Nee-san, did she forget she is blind?" Sirin said as she also stands up, "Bella, let's go"

"I'm also coming" Aunt Teri said,

"Einstein, take care Kiana" Tesla said as she too plans on going, "I need to directly survey the site"

"Wait I want to go too" Kiana said in disagreement.

"It is too dangerous, after you grow up we will take you with us" Sirin said

"Ok, promise?" Kiana said holding her pinky

"Yes, promise" Sirin said as she wrapped her pinky around Kiana's

Sirin summoned a portal and the three of them entered.

A black portal suddenly appeared between Mei and her father. Mei has seen this portal countless times, its HOV's portal.

A figure exited the portal, dressed in a hospital gown with a golden visor on her eyes.

"Wait, Amber?" Theresa is the first one to speak up, and Durandal also has a surprised look.

"Hmmm? Aunt Teri? I'm sorry I know I am wrong for being impulsive but when I heard that it's possible that small Mei-senpai could be in danger, I couldn't help myself to act." Liana said sheepishly as she turns in the direction of the voice.

"Eh?" Theresa said clearly not understanding why "Amber" would try to protect small Mei-senpai, 'wait Mei-senpai? That is what Kiana calls Mei.' Theresa thought

"Eh?" Liana replied

As the confusion lingers in the air, another portal appears.

"Nee-san, what are you doing teleporting as you wish, do you forget you are blind?" Sirin comes out, immediately lashing out at Liana.

"Liana, stop being rash in the future ok? what would happen if you encountered danger after you teleported?" Aunt Teri exited the portal and also lectured Liana

The last one to exit is Bella and Tesla.

"Ok, Ok, I said I am sorry ok? As I said, when I heard small Mei-senpai might be in danger I couldn't help myself" Liana answered for the second time.

"Ms. Tesla?" Raiden Ryoma said

"Ah Ryoma, I heard the situation, I already sent a team here already but If I knew Sirin can teleport here, I would have asked her to do so from the start." Tesla said crossing her arms. "I see the situation is over?" Tesla said as she looks around and met the 6 people.

'Another Theresa? Liana's timeline?' Tesla thought

"Yes the situation has been dealt with by these 6 people, do you know them?" Ryoma asked

"Sirin?" Theresa said with wide eyes, she didn't expect to meet Sirin the second Herrscher. She knows the second eruption isn't that bad, but thought that Sirin is defeated.

"Hmmm? Ah, you must be Nee-san timeline's Aunt Teri" Sirin looked at her.

"Eh, Sirin? oh, so you guys prevented the second eruption?" Theresa asked

"Well, it is Liana who does the most work at that time". Aunt Teri looked at Theresa, "Sigh, seeing my future self still looking like a kid, I guess I am forever doomed to have this look" Aunt Teri said dejectedly

"Wait, so you are this timeline's Theresa?" Theresa said

"Yeah, I am assuming the other 5 are also from the future?" Aunt Teri said

"Yes, by the way, it is intriguing the fact that after all these years, your appearance is still the same Theresa-sama" Durandal said

"Umm, what is this talk about timeline?" Ryoma asked

"Well, in simple terms, we come from the future" Durandal said nonchalantly

"Anyways, it looks like the future phoenix is working for you, future Theresa?" Aunt Teri asked Theresa.

"Yes, she is, I know about the past Fu Hua but you can trust the current her." Theresa said.

"It is as the principal said, I will never side with Otto again" Fu Hua replied.

"By the way, Kiana? why do you wear a visor?" Mei asked looking at Liana who is still standing in the same spot as when she teleported.

"Oh Mei-senpai, I miss you" Liana walk towards the direction of the sound, but due to her blindness, she tripped on a dead zombie body, and fell. "ouch"

"Nee-san, you alright?" Sirin immediately comes and checks on her.

"Yeah, just a scratch, no biggie" Liana laugh sheepishly

"Mo~, stop walking around so much when you are blind Liana, you're going to injure yourself" Aunt Teri added.

"Wait, Kiana why do they call you Liana? and when do you become blind?" Mei said worriedly as she walks near Liana.

"Ah, Mei-senpai" Liana hug Mei.

Mei looked very confused but then smiled and hug her back.

"Kiana, I know that you miss your friend but can you tell us the answer to Mei's questions?" Durandal said

"Well, mom decided to give me a new name since the original Kiana is still a 2-year-old kid, so my name is Camellia Kiana Kaslana, so they call me Liana, regarding my blindness, it's a long story, so I will tell it later Nee-san" Liana said

"Well, I am glad that you are ok Kiana, by the way, why do we get transported into this timeline?" Theresa said

"Let's talk about that later, we need to kill the remaining beast first." Aunt Teri said

They kill every Honkai beast in the area and exited through Liana's portal alongside Mei's Family and the bodyguards.

Overseer Office.

"Overseer, we have detected Sirin and the 2 unknown Herrscher presence near the ME corp building" Amber reported to Otto who is standing in front of his control panel.

"Have we hacked the ME corp CCTV?" Otto asked

"Yes sir, showing it now" Amber said as she push some buttons and the control panel displayed the CCTV recording.

"Oh? There is someone that looks like you Amber" Otto said

"Yes, I don't know if this is one of my sisters or not, but judging from her honkai signature she is the unknown Herrscher, alongside that raven-haired girl.

"Hmm, I am sure that you have no other sentient sister other than Theresa, but what is more intriguing is that there is two Theresa, and Phoenix is with them but she uses glasses. What happened here?" Otto said as he assumed a thinking pose.

"Overseer, judging from their lip movement, Miss Sirin said something about so this being Nee-san timeline's aunt Teri, and judging from the conversation, the Nee-san Miss Sirin is referring to is the My lookalike. Also, the fact that the raven-haired girl, Phoenix with glasses, the blonde girl, and Miss Theresa calls her Kiana, makes me think that something is off" Amber said

"Wait, Nee-san's timeline...., look-alikes....., big Kiana...." Otto muttered then smiles "HAHAHAHA, it turns out to be that way" Otto laughed.

"Amber, it looks like time-traveling does exist, go and investigate them, but stay covert." Otto said

"Yes sir" Amber said as she exited the room

"HAHAHAHA, Kallen, wait just a bit more, it seems that I have found the clue to reach you" Otto said to himself.

The ward is a bit crowded. Einstein and Tesla decided to use the ward as a meeting room, so they move some sofas, decorations, etc, and added carpets and wallpaper, basically making the ward into a meeting/family room. Everyone is seated, with Kiana and Bella laying on the ward bed alongside Liana who is currently being checked by a doctor. After the doctor said that she is ok and exited the room.

"So, I am assuming you guys want an explanation? Well starting off....." Liana said

Sorry about being busy, wait for the next chapter ok?

Ok so maybe I should think of a name for future Bronya, Seele, Theresa, and Mei.

Since its Japanese, I think there is no other way than to remove the Mei
