On the phone

Casey- How are you doing?

Dawson- I am hurting a bit.

Casey- When will you be abe to be back at work?

Dawson- I don't know. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow.

Casey- That's good.

Dawson- Do you think you could come with me? I can pick you up.

Casey- Of course, whatever you need I'm here.

The next day at the doctor

Doctor- On a scale from one to ten, how would you rate the pain?

Dawson- A one or two.

Doctor- How long has it been since what happened?

Dawson- About five weeks

Doctor- Well Mrs. Dawson I will be sending you back to work you may go back tomorrow.

At the firehouse

Otis- Hey Dawson!

Dawson- Hey guys.

Hermann- How are you doing?

Dawson- I'm doing fine. How are you doing?

Hermann- I'm okay. When do you have to go on Maternity leave.

Dawson- I have 2 more shifts.

Otis- Well, we will miss you.

All a sudden we hear one of our co-workers yell.

Tony- BRETT! CHILE!

Brett- what's wrong?

When Brett walked in she saw Severide bleeding out.

Brett- WE NEED TO GET KELLY TO THE HOSPITAL!

Chile-On it! I can drive.

Brett- Tony ride in the back with me.

Tony and Brett load severide into the Ambulance.

Tony- Severide, Capp, and I were playing Poker and all of a sudden there were gunshots.

Brett- Did you see the person?

Tony- No

At ERBrett-30's white male, 3 gunshot wounds, 1 exit wound, might have hit an Artery, and BP 30/60.

Doctor 1- Get him into trauma bay 4 and get ready for Emergency Surgery.

Chile- What do we do now?

Tony and Brett- Now, we just wait.
