Capp- No way! He's back!

Severide- Newhouse! How you been buddy?

Newhouse- I've been good.

Chief- What brings you back to 51?

Newhouse- Been missing my family.

Chief- Well I'm glad your back. Is it only temporary or permanent?

Newhouse- It will be permanent.

Chief- Well, there is a spot on squad that opened up about a month ago. Would you like to be back to work?

Newhouse- Yes, thank you so much. When is the soonest I can start?

Chief- Today.

Newhouse- Ok. I will get changed into the uniform.

In the locker room

Casey- I'm glad your back Newhouse!

Newhouse- Me too!

Casey- How was California?

Newhouse- It was good, but it wasn't as cold as it probably was in Chicago.

Casey- It was one cold winter!

Newhouse- I noticed Peter Mills isn't here. What happen to him?

Casey- He left, because his mom and Elise was moving to North Carolina and he didn't want to be away from them. So, for all we know is, he's a cook at the family restaurant they own.

Newhouse- Oh ok.

At the hospital

Antonio was holding Dawson's hand

Antonio- Come on Gabby, I know you can pull through this! You are a fighter. My little fighter that I need to protect.

Dawson starts to wake up

Antonio starts to cry

Antonio- Gabby! Oh my gosh your finally awake.

Dawson- My stomach hurts so much.

Antonio- And it probably will for the next few weeks.

Dawson- Why?! Why am I in a hospital and not at 51.

Antonio- You lost your baby do to the beating you got by Jack.

Dawson- When did he beat me?

Doctor- Mrs. Dawson your awake! Since you have been asleep for the past week your stomach has had time to heal so, I am able to send you home.

Antonio- I will tell you later just let me go and sign the discharge papers. Do you want to stop at 51 to get anything?

Dawson- Yes, I want to see Casey and talk to him.

At firehouse 51

Chile- Who is that?

Casey- it's Antonio.

The police over heard him and nodded when Antonio came to them

Antonio- She is awake. And in my car.

Casey- Can I go see her?

Antonio- yeah, of course you can!

Casey- Can you go tell Chief I'm going to Antonio's car quickly.

She nodded then left

At the car

Casey- Your ok, that is so awesome.

Dawson- yeah. I have something I need to tell you.

Casey- Let me first. Ever you walked out of the door with your bags I have missed you. All I can think about is you. I want you back and I know we can make it work out all I'm asking is if you will move back in.

Dawson- I've missed you too. But Antonio said I lost the baby that was going to be yours.
