"Attention please, attention please. May all of the nurses and doctors who have experience in the E.R. please report to Dr. Cuddy's office. I repeat, may all nurses and doctors who have experience in the E.R. please report to Dr. Cuddy's office?"

Dr. Allison Cameron and Dr. Amelia Kelly were perplexed when they heard the news through the hospital's speakers. They immediately rushed over to her office, leaving the rest of the team confused, including House.

They rushed to Cuddy's office together nervously, due to the urgent sound in Cuddy's voice just now.

Just a few hours ago...

Mark, a year 9 student, was in the mall with his friends. The building they were in was yellow in colour. The building was flooding with people. Because the building was close to his school, he could spot many people from his school in the mall.

He was walking towards the elevator to go to the next floor when he noticed something odd on the wall. He took a closer look and realised there was a tiny little crack on it. He didn't think too much of itโ€”someone just probably accidentally broke it.

Without a second thought, he went into the lift and didn't look back at the crack. Chattering and laughing with his friends, he didn't notice how the crack gradually expanded and within minutes, covered the entire part of the wall.

A bunch of girls were shopping for perfume nearby Mark. When they spotted him, they waved to him and headed over.

"You're here too?" One of the girls asked, surprised.

Abruptly, before Mark could answer, the lights began to flash and the building began to shake. All the students were shocked and ran around in fright. None of them knew what to do. All they knew was that somethingย really bad was going on.

Without a warning, a loud boom sound was heard and everything was down onto the ground in just a second.

The building had collapsed.

While Cuddy told them the news, everybody stared at her with their eyes widened as they listened. "What!?" Exclaimed Kelly. Cuddy nodded to confirm what she just said.

"That's right. The building collapsed and there's more than two hundred people trapped down there. We're the closet hospital from there, so we have to send the whole E.R. to help. Everybody grab your safety suits from the clinic, and pack the emergency kit filled with medical tools. When you arrive, the firefighters will hand you tags and helmets. Go!"

Everybody hurried to the clinic, grabbing everything they needed that was in sight. Meanwhile, House, Foreman and Chase were watching the news from the TV they had. House massaged his temples as he thought of the thought that Cameron, his girlfriend needed to go in there and save lives.

He wanted to help, but damn that bum leg. "Countless lives are destroyed underneath this building," the reporter on TV announced. "We cannot confirm the number of deaths at the moment, but we are trying our best to bring the people who are still breathing back to the safe zones."

Chase exclaimed, "That's terrible! We should go help too, Foreman." Foreman disagreed. "I want to help to, but what do we know? Those doctors have worked in the E.R. and as far as I know, they are the best candidates to go help those people."

Chase couldn't disagree on this point. Both of them realised how quiet House became today. They knew he was extremely worried about Cameron, although he didn't show it.

Wilson bursted into the room. "House!" He called. House snapped, "What!? Can't you see I'm busy right now?"

"I'm looking at you...watching TV. Wow, you're certainly busy," Wilson commented. "Come on, House. Go down there and help those doctors pack their emergency kits. Just because you can't go to the site and help doesn't mean you can't help here."

"Quit yapping, Jimmy. Have you even helped them yet?"

Wilson sighed in surrender and opened the door. "I will now. Go help them before your girlfriend gets into trouble." House grew mad at what his best friend said. He prayed silently in his mind that Allison wouldn't be hurt. He didn't believe in God, but it was the only thing he could do.

Foreman and Chase headed down together, beginning to help those nurses and doctors pack. Soon enough, all of them were set to leave for the site.

Cuddy arranged a few ambulances for all of them to get into. The drivers quickly drove to the site, speeding through all the red lights. The faster they got there, the sooner the people would be saved.

Once they arrived, Cameron hopped down the car and ran straight towards the site. The head of the firefighters, Aaron, quickly handed them helmets and extra safety suits.

"Here," he handed them labels of different colours. "Give these to patients according to the condition of their injuries. The colours mean a different level of injuries." Cameron nodded and so did the other doctor and nurses. All of them went straight ahead towards the building, where firefighters were busy trying to pull people out.

"Doctors, pair up with a nurse and as a pair, go to one of the patients and help," Aaron announced on his microphone.

Cameron managed to find Nurse Heather through the crowd, and they ran towards a patient with a broken leg. The patient was in pain, but his injury wasn't really life-threatening. The two of them used all their strength to carry the patient to safety zone, and handed him two painkillers.

As soon as the man was safe, they continued searching for people to help. Kelly was nearby her, doing CPR on a patient as a black tag hung from the patient's neck. The black tag represented that the patient needed urgent care.

Nurse Heather spotted a patient who just got pulled out from under a big piece of the building by the firefighters. "There!" She yelled, heading over there patient. Cameron followed and put her two fingers onto his neck, checking for a pulse.

"He has a pulse, but it's very weak!"

Nurse Heather quickly put her ear down to his lips. "He's not getting enough air!" Cameron nodded and grabbed the kit, getting out a scalpel and a laryngoscope. Quickly making a small cut where his throat was, she pushed the tube in and connected it to an airbag. Nurse Heather slipped a red tag onto the patient and told the men to send him to the safety zone.

She began to look around for any other patients. All of them were getting treated by a doctor and a nurse. But she was sure that there were still hundreds of people stuck under the building needing urgent care.

She knew what she was about to do was very dangerous, but it was important. Cameron dashed over to the helmets and safety suits counter and talked to Aaron.

"Aaron! Give me a few of your men and send me down there," she said urgently. Aaron was shocked and shook his head in disbelief. "Dr. Cameron, you can't do that! The building could collapse once again in any moment!"

Cameron wouldn't listen. "Listen to me," she said sternly, "If I don't go down there, or if anybody doesn't go down there right now, this instance, hundreds of lives will be gone straight down the rabbit hole."

Aaron could see that she had a point. "I understand your concern, but we also need to think about your safety, the other doctors' safety and also the firefighter's safety."

When she didn't answer, he knew she had made up her mind. She was going to go down there, and nothing could stop her from doing so. Aaron, with a huge sigh and a nervous nod, handed her a bunker gear that was worn by the firefighters.

"Stay safe down there." Then, he motioned a few of his men to follow Cameron there and help. "Is there any other doctor that willing to help?" Cameron shouted through the site. All heads turned as they looked frightened.

"You're going down there!?" Kelly exclaimed. "The building might collapse againโ€”"

"I know!" Cameron yelled back to her. "Would you rather see hundreds of people die instead!?"

"I'm not going," Kelly said firmly and turned back to the patient that she was treating. Cameron sighed and looked at all the other nurses.

"I'll go with you," Nurse Heather said without another second of hesitation, knowing that one person died each second that they waited.

Heather grabbed the suits as well and together they were able to get into the building with the help of the firefighters. They both had safety ropes tied onto their waists and legs.ย

First thing they saw, was two students under there. That was Mark, and another girl in his arms.

"We're here, don't worry!" Cameron shouted to them. She headed over and checked the girl's pulse. "I need you to release her right now. She's not getting enough air."

Mark nodded and quickly but gently placed her head down onto the floor. "She's been unconscious for the whole time," he said nervously with a hint of sadness in his voice. "I was waiting for you guys to come down here but you never did!"

"Well, we're here now," Heather promised, getting out the tools to save the girl. After intubating, she announced to Mark, "There, she's breathing once again. Tell you whatโ€”we're going to send you up there first then send her up."

"What!?" Mark shouted. "But I need to stay with her! I can't leave her down here all alone!"

"She's not alone, and you're not leaving her here. It's just that she'll be sent up there a bit later than you," Cameron reassured him. "Come on, let's get you up there." She gave Mark a green tag and sent him up. Turning to the girl, she motioned to Nurse Heather to help her carry the girl to the firefighters.

As soon as the girl was safe, they continued looking around to see if there were any patients who needed urgent care. There was one boy but he just had a few scratches, not very urgent. They continued scanning the whole area.

Just then, they noticed a man whose lips were pale and was being crushed by a huge stone. His legs were under the stone but he didn't whimper in pain. Cameron immediately rushed over, checking for a pulse.ย

"No pulse!" She began to perform CPR on the man as they couldn't use electricity to shock him. Nurse Heather would switch with her from time to time. Performing CPR was tiring enough, especially when you're doing it underground and there's barely any air.

"Check again," Nurse Heather said while panting, her forehead flooding with sweat. Cameron checked but sighed and shook her head. "Nothing! Let's switch!"

For the next few minutes, all they did was check the man's pulse and do CPR. Nurse Heather sighed as she looked at the timer on her watch. "Cameron," she sighed. "It's been four minutes."

However, Cameron didn't stop. She continued until every inch of her body could barely move, and at the end, she collapsed onto the floor, heavily breathing. "Check...his pulse..." she panted.

Nurse Heather did and her eyes widened. "He has a pulse! You saved him!"

"G-good," Cameron smiled to herself. "But he's probably going to be very unstable. You can go find the other patients while I stay here and watch over him."

The nurse nodded, and was inspired by the wonderful doctor in front of her, who didn't give up on a patient until he had a pulse and was brought back from the dead.

Cameron got up and checked his pulse every thirty seconds, and since he was stable now, she headed towards Heather to help. She was trying to treat a patient who couldn't stop coughing.

"There's a lot of dust in here," Heather said. "The patient can't catch a breath without coughing. Also, there's a huge amount of bleeding on his arm, and a small piece of glass sticking out."

"Damn. The man has to be in a lot of pain. We need to give him a shot of morphine before he goes crazy by pain." Cameron skilfully held up a needle and filled it up with morphine, just like House did last time when he gave her a shot.

She carefully stuck it into the patient's arm, and the patient let out a sound of relief once the morphine made him more relaxed and painless.

All of a sudden, the floor, stoned and broken pieces began to rumble. What Cameron dreaded would happen was about to happen. The building was about to collapse once again.

"Quick!" The firefighter yelled to them while hanging onto their ropes. "Get up here! The building is going to fall again!"

"We can't!" Cameron yelled back. "There are two patients in here, and we can't just leave them alone here!" The firefighters gave up and ignored them, escaping themselves and leaving the two of them behind.

Cameron, seeing that they were going to leave without them, accepted her fate. She rushed over to the man who had an unstable pulse and covered him with her own body, letting the gigantic pieces of the building fall over her.

Meanwhile...

House was sitting in his comfy chair casually, glancing at the TV for updates from time to time. No one told him about that was happening at the site, and he was scared though he won't show it that his beloved Cameron wouldn't make it out alive.

Wilson, who was eating a bag of chips next to House, noticed how frightened he actually was. House acted as calm as possible, but he knew that his best friend was scared to death and would never be the same again if Cameron actually got into danger at the site.

Chase and Foreman couldn't bear to sit there at the TV waiting to see if their friend Cameron would make it out alive. They decided to distract themselves in the clinic, but from time to time they would ask Dr. Cuddy about updates on the situation.

However, Cuddy herself was busy as hell. The reporters burst into their hospital to interview them about the doctors who went to the site to help. She was overwhelmed by the sudden emergency and didn't know what to do.

The news hasn't been reported yet, and no one knew what was happening at the moment. But House, who knew everything, had a feeling that something bad was going on, and he silently hoped that it wasn't involved with Cameron.

"Dr. Lisa Cuddy, how did the doctors react when you told them about the emergency?" One of the reporters asked as thousands of lights from the cameras flashed into her eyes.

Cuddy was truly annoyed by the reporters, but she didn't want to seem mean on screen. She tried to keep herself from bursting in anger. "They were surprised but of course, they immediately went to pack their kits and headed to the site as quick as they could," she answered. "After all, all of our doctors are very responsible people and they really want to save lives."

Luckily, the reporters were satisfied with the answer and left her alone. Cuddy sighed and decided to call Aaron on her cellphone for quicker updates since he was in the site.

"Aaron." Came the reply on her phone.

"Hi, this is Dr. Cuddy," Cuddy said. "I wanted to know the current situation on the site. Is there anything that happened?"

She could hear Aaron sigh at the other end. "What's wrong?" She asked nervously. Aaron replied, "The building collapsed again. And..." he told her about the bad news. Cuddy gasped and nearly dropped the phone onto the floor. House was not going to be happy with the news. He was probably going to freak out and start beating people up with his cane. Most likely, he was going to beat up the firefighters for letting Cameron down there.

Wilson and House were nervously pacing in his office now, awaiting updates. House decided that if the TV wasn't going to report anything, he might as well turn it off and get to Cuddy's ass and bicker about it.

So when he stood up and turned it off, Wilson was really baffled. "Don't you want the news?"

"Blackmailing Cuddy for it is way easier," he said. "Have you heard from anyone? Those nurses you hook up with? Kelly? Cameron?"

"No," Wilson said, frowning. "Not even the nurses. No one ever called me once."

"That's it. I'm calling Cameron." He swiftly took out his cellphone and dialled Cameron's number, and punched the call button. There was a long beeping sound and a message: "Hi this is Allison Cameron. If you received this message, then I'm unable to respond or call back at the moment. Please leave a message after the beep."

There was a beep after the message. House didn't know what to say to her, so he whispered, "Ally I hope you're fine...I love you." Wilson was taken back by what he said as he put away his phone, back into his pocket.

"Now, are you coming with me to bicker to Cuddy about more updates?"

Wilson nodded, still surprised and followed him to Cuddy's office. On the way, he could hear many nurses talking about a rumour or something. He ignored them because all he needed was an answer from Cuddy. All he wanted to hear was that Cameron was alright.ย

Before he got there, he called Kelly on his phone. Kelly answered almost immediately. Of course she did, she had a stupid little crush on him.

"Dr. House!" She said from the other end.

"What's going on there?" House barked at her.

He heard someone calling her a second later, and Kelly quickly said, "I'm so sorry, but I have to go now. I'll call back later."

Finally, they arrived at Cuddy's office and she looked traumatised. "Lisa, what's wrong?" Wilson asked nervously.ย

"Something happened at the site, right?" House spat angrily while walking a step closer to Cuddy. "Why didn't you tell me!?"

"House, calm the fuck down," Cuddy said, taking a step backwards, afraid that House would punch her or something.

"WHAT HAPPENED!?" House hollered at her. Wilson grabbed him before he could hit Cuddy.

"The building collapsed all of a sudden without a single warning."

All three of them were silent for a moment, and both House and Wilson were scared to know the truth of what awaited them.

"Cameron...she was down there." Cuddy stopped herself from crying. "She was down there when the building collapsed."
