"Thirteen was diagnosed last month with Huntingtons disease. Which means, she will die by the age of 40 something. She quit working for you," Cuddy said, walking around her office looking for some files while House stood in front of her, progressing what she just said.

"And Taub? And Kutner?"

She sighed and threw down the stack of files she was holding. "House. Stop."

"What? I want to know what happened to my poor little duckings," he said in mock sadness. "Why did they suddenly quit working for me?"

"Maybe because you're an ass."

"I know that's not the reason," House said angrily. "Tell me! It's my business to know! I hired them!" Cuddy sighed and sat down in agony.

"Fine. Kutner committed suicide last week. We found the body in the labs and apparently, he shot himself in the head. And Taub...he has serious issues with his wife that he doesn't want to talk about. Hire someone else other than Cameron."

"Find Chase, then!" House shouted. "He wasn't so bad! And why did Kutner kill himself, anyway?"

"House, I know you actually give a damn about him, but I prefer not to say the reason."

"So you know?" He continued pushing her.

"He's depressed," Cuddy gave in.

"So he committed suicide!? That's not even rational!"

"It's rational for him," the dean of medicine said, annoyed. "Now get out of my office. I'll go talk to Chase."

House stormed out of her office angrily, and into his office. Cameron jumped at the sudden noise and stared at him. "Sorry," he apologised. "I'm just mad at Cuddy for hiding the reasons why all three of them quit."

Cameron stood up and embraced him. "So is Chase coming back, then? It's just me and Foreman working here now."

"Do you miss himย that much?"

She laughed and rolled her eyes. "I miss working with him. He's my friends. Just because I get to see him at work doesn't mean it's any better than working with him."

He grinned and sat down next to her. "Guess it's just gonna be the three of us solving the cases for a while. At least, until Cuddy talks to the one with the British ass. Please don't tell me she's gonna force me to hire new people if he doesn't come back. On the other hand, I could always blackmail him..."

"House, stop," Cameron stopped him with a chuckle.

"You're cute when you smile," he randomly commented, flicking his pen with his fingers. Cameron looked up from the medical journal she was reading and blushed. Her cheeks were red and she couldn't hide the smile and spread across her face.

Moments later, two familiar men walked in. Chase was grinning from ear to ear as he ate a bagel, and Foreman marched in with a stack of books in his hands and a small smile on his face.

"Hey!" Cameron greeted, turning to Chase. "What brings you here? I know Foreman works here, but you?"

"Thought I'd pay you a visit," Chase said. "Heard you two are dating again. Congrats." Foreman hugged Cameron and Chase shook her hand briefly.ย

"Cuddy's gonna talk to you later," she told Chase before they could say anything more.

"What for?" Chase asked with his eyebrow raised. Cameron laughed and explained, "You're not in trouble, relax. As you know, all the others quit and Foreman is the only one left. Aside for me, of course. So she wants to talk to you about working for House again."

Hesitating for a while, Chase nodded. "Very likely chance that I will. If House is okay with that, of course." House rolled his eyes beside him, scoffing and mocking him.

"That's great!" Cameron exclaimed, deciding to ignore House.

Before they could discuss further, Cuddy barged into the door of House's office with four thin blue files in hand.

"House," she said. "These are the files of the people I want you to interview." She turned to look at Chase. "Chase, I want to talk to you."

"If this is about working for House again, the answer is yes. I don't really mind," Chase replied in his Aussie accent. Cuddy beamed and nodded, "I'll give you the paperwork in a minute. House, look at these."

She threw the files onto his table and left the office. House sighed and went to check out the resumes. He muttered something and rolled his eyes as he scanned through the pages, probably calling them idiots.

Seconds later, four people arrived in the room. The first one was a man, who looked about 36. He was dressed in a formal suit, holding a piece of folder in his hand. "I'm Dr. Isaac," he introduced himself, sticking out his hand for House to shake. He was taken back when House snorted and refused to take his hand.

"I'm sorry," Cameron apologised to him. "He's always like this, please don't mind him."

The second was a 30 year old woman. She wore the ugliest green dress that looked weird in every way and red heels which didn't match her outfit at all. She wore glasses that were square shaped. "I'm Veronica," she said. Foreman shook her hand in replace of House.

The third was another woman. She looked about 29. She looked young, but her appearance had no effect on House. She wore a red V-cut blouse and a short black skirt, like the kind of clothes Cuddy wears. "I'm Amelia Kelly," she said firmly. "I've done a lot of research on you, Dr. House. People say you're a manipulating jerk. I'm okay with anything that comes out of your mouth, but keep your hands to yourself."

The people in the room looked shocked at her statement. Normally, it would be a really bad introduction in front of your boss, but this time, House grinned. He stepped forward as if he was interested.

"Not bad. The rest of you, you can get out. You, come here." He motioned for her to sit opposite to him on his desk. He flipped open her resume with interest gleaming in his eyes.

"Born in Princeton, graduated top in Harvard. Wow, and you're hot. You might even be better than Dr. Cameron over there." He meant it as a joke, but he caught from the corner of his eye that Cameron looked upset and disappointed. He dismissed it almost right away and continued with the interview.

He looked up to Amelia. "If you were Jewish, you wouldn't be getting this job. I know two Jewish people and they are the most annoying ever. Well, go to Cuddy's office...and, well, just tell her Dr. House is kinda okay with you. If she gives you paperwork, come back here, give it to me and come to work on whatever day you're okay with."

Amelia exited the room and House shouted, "And don't expect me to call you Amelia! We don't do pet names here!" Kelly scoffed and went down to Cuddy's office as instructed.

House went back into the conference room. To his surprise, Cameron still seemed upset about the comment he made earlier. He decided that she'd get over it, so he sat down as usual beside her.

"How 'bout you date her instead," Cameron tried to make it a joke, but it really didn't sound like one. House kissed her lips and said, "It was obviously a joke."

She nodded, unconvinced. "I'm going to do some of your clinic duty. Do you want to come down with me?" House nodded. "Since we have nothing better to do."

House told the nurse on the way into the clinic, "Dr. House checks in at 11 a.m."

"It's going to be Dr. Cameron doing the work anyway," the nurse muttered.

"And I don't remember your job being 'telling the old cripple he isn't doing his work'," House retorted. "You aren't doing your job either. Stop thinking about being laid and maybe focus on those paperwork you're supposed to do."

The nurse flushed and pretended that her work was the most interesting thing ever, avoiding eye contact with House.

"You didn't have to say that," Cameron hissed into House's ear. House just grinned and looked at her mockingly. "Oh yes, I did. I had to say that so she would focus on her job and not focus on my gorgeous girlfriend."

Cameron blushed and grabbed his arm, quickly pulling him into the exam rooms.

"Yes? What do you want, Dr. Cameron?" House asked loudly. "Why would you suddenly pull me into an exam room...?"

Cameron rolled her eyes. "Shut up, House." She tucked her now brown hair behind her ears, dragging House to the nurse station and getting a file. "Now do your damn job."

House groaned, but he took the file anyway. A woman sat onto the chair of the room, squeezing her thighs together in an uncomfortable way.

"Do you need me to ask you what's wrong with you or are you gonna tell me? Cause I don't have a whole day to waste," House quickly said and sat down onto a stool.

The woman's cheeks were slightly pink, as if she was embarrassed. "Uh...I'm bleeding."

He sighed. "Where?"

"Um, I don't really prefer saying..." she turned to Cameron standing in the corner. "Can the female doctor do it instead? Please? I don't feel comfortable with you doing it..."

"No need," House dismissed her immediately. He tapped her knees and ordered, "Spread 'em."

"How did you know?" The woman asked in disbelief, spreading her legs open. Blood was stained onto her pants and she tried to cover it up with her fingers.

"Well, you were trying so hard to hide it just now and you squeezed your thighs together. Moreover..." he grabbed the woman's hand and pointed at her fingers. "Those long fingernails...must be hard to masturbate, huh?"

The woman's cheeks turned bright red this time. "Y-yeah."

House sighed and wrote something in his prescription pad. "I'm prescribing painkillers. Put some bandage on it and you'll be fine. Also, next time, before you pleasure yourself go wash your hands, cut your nails and watch a how-to video. I have some recommendations for some really good how-to videos."

Cameron, watching him in the corner, sighed as the woman left the exam room with bandages and the prescription. "Well...that was quick," she remarked.ย

He winked and rolled the stool over to her. "Your turn," he whispered to her, nudging to the patient's bed in front of them. Cameron raised an eyebrow in confusion. "I'm sorry, what?"

"Your turn," this time he pointed directly to the bed. "Hop on."

She hesitated before she sat onto the bed. House locked the door behind them, smirking and ruffling through his hair. Which was weird, because House never ruffled his hair.

Before she knew it, his fingers landed right into her blouse. He began unbuttoning her clothes slowly, and Cameron couldn't explain the frustration she had in her. She begged House to do it faster, or she wouldn't be able to handle it.

He smirked and finally finished unbuttoning all the buttons. He slid her clothes off with his delicate fingers, trailing them over her breasts, teasing them and his thumb went to her right nipple. Cameron moaned and laid back.

House took off his shirt, leaving his pants on so he wouldn't look so messy when he went out of the room later. He kissed the beautiful woman lying in front of him passionately, earning sounds of pleasure from Cameron.

"Oh my gosh, Greg," she moaned as she grabbed his neck. They were in the middle of it when someone turned the door knob. They were lucky the door was locked.

"House! The nurse said you've been in there for a long time!" Came Cuddy's voice. "The doctor you hired is outside, waiting!" Both House and Cameron groaned in dismay as they quickly dressed themselves. Cameron fixed her hair and tried to look normal, but she couldn't help but scoff at the fact that Cuddy disturbed their little make out session.

"Don't be disappointed," House whispered, brushing his lips against her ear. "We'll continue this at home." Cameron grinned and unlocked the door, opening it to see Cuddy looking pissed while holding Kelly's resume.

"Dr House," Kelly said sneakily. "Hi Dr. Cameron."

Cameron faked a smile and tried not to look annoyed at her. She didn't really like Dr. Kelly and she had a reason for that.ย

"House, what are you doing in here with your girlfriend?" Cuddy asked in disbelief. Kelly looked shocked. "Your House's girlfriend!?" She managed to exclaim.ย

House rolled his eyes. He didn't say anything but it was true. Cameron, on the other hand, was upset that he seemed embarrassed to admit it. "Yeah," she said. "I'm just here to make sure he's doing his damn job. Is that a problem?" She really couldn't hide the fact that she felt irritated by Kelly's presence.

Cuddy shook her head. "Anyway, Dr. Kelly insisted that she started working here today. Are you okay with that, House?" Cameron silently wished House would say no, but her wishes weren't heard. To her surprise, House just nodded without a word.

"Do we have a case?" Kelly asked excitedly. Cameron rolled her eyes behind House. God, this girl. Cuddy shook her head. "No. You guys can get to know each other first before we get one."

Cameron followed House back to their office, and Kelly followed behind. "So...make-up sex later?" She whispered into his ear. He grinned and whispered back, "Totally."

"It's to be working with you, Dr. House," Kelly started blabbing. "I've heard that you're the best diagnostician in the world." ย

"Weren't you just snarky, like, two minutes ago?" Cameron couldn't help but snap at her. Kelly snorted and rolled her eyes. "That was for the interview. I've done my research. Now that I'm hired, I no longer have to act like a jerk."

House played with his cane and spun it on his fingers, trying to think. He glared at Kelly from time to time, but he didn't listen to what they were talking about.

Before Cameron knew it, Kelly walked over to House's table and looked at the mess with a frown. "Don't you ever clean your office, House?" She asked, puzzled. House rolled his eyes and looked to his desk, shrugging. "Why clean when you can hire a secretary for you?" He winked at Cameron after saying it.

Kelly sighed and started organising his desk. "Might as well help you clean up some of it." She turned on his computer and asked, "What's the password?"

When House didn't answer, Cameron headed over and unlocked his computer. "I can take it from here if you want. I've been doing this for three years when I worked with him."

The annoyance on both of their faces weren't hidden. Kelly shook her head and said as politely as she could, "It's fine, I'm good at this stuff." She began sorting his mail, frowning as she questioned House why he had so many mail unread.

Cameron sat down beside House and made some coffee, handing it to House. House took a sip and grinned. "Your coffee is the best way to start a day." Kelly immediately turned to look at him.

"I could make you coffee tomorrow if you want," she offered. House didn't bother to answer her, but he always preferred Cameron's coffee over anyone else's.ย

She went back to sorting his mail. She would rub her forehead from time to time, feeling overwhelmed by the huge amount of mail unread and untouched. House and Cameron seemed unbothered by her at the moment, and soon enough Chase and Foreman entered the room.

Kelly stood up and smiled once she saw the other two colleagues. "Hi," she said. "I'm Dr. Amelia Kelly. I've worked in the E.R. before but I'm also a nephrologist. Nice to meet you." She shook their hands.

"So?" House asked, motioning to Chase.

Chase held out a document of paper in his hands to House. "I will join back the team. Sign these documents and that's it." Without hesitation, Cameron went over instead and signed it in House's signature.

"No more girly loopy Gs," she proudly announced, showing it to House. House grinned. On the other hand, Kelly wasn't too happy about it.

"You're forging his signature?" She asked in disbelief. "That's a very illegal thing to do."

"I thought Cameron was all about ethics and morals," House said grimly. "And now you. This is just great. Guess I'm not giving anyone more mouse bites this time."

"House!" Foreman warned. "She's new here, give her a break before she quits on her first day." House shrugged. "Quitting isn't a bad idea." He turned to look at Kelly. "Is it? I highly suggest you to quit."

Kelly shook her head with a smirk. "I got this position, I'm not backing off now. And by the way, I'm done sorting your mail."ย

"Cameron, go check."

Cameron nodded and walked over, scrolling through his mail. The problem was, there were tons of mails that Kelly classified as "need to read". However, House didn't need to read most of them. So, she began reading them and replying quickly.

"How do you know if he wants to attend the conference or not!?" Kelly asked angrily when she saw what she was doing.

"I know," Cameron said firmly. "Because I've worked for him for a whole freaking three years. He never attends lectures of conferences, and I normally only leave one or two mails that he actually needs to read. Maybe you should make coffee instead, I can handle the sorting mail job."

This earned a scoff from Kelly. Hesitantly, she went to the coffee machine to see that the coffee was already made by Cameron. She was even mom upset after seeing House actually enjoying the cup of coffee in his hand.

"So..."Chase started. "We don't a case, I assume?"

When nobody answered, he got his answer. Foreman sighed and sat down, picking up a magazine. "Cuddy better give us a case by tomorrow. I'm not going to sit here and deal with this insanity."

"Insanity?" Kelly questioned.

"As long as House is in the room, there's nothing called sanity. Who wants to go grab a drink?" All of them nodded except for House.

"House," Kelly pleaded. "Come with us, please?" He didn't budge.ย

Cameron grinned when she saw it and walked over to House, kissing his cheek before asking. "Come with me, okay? We're just gonna grab a drink."

To Kelly's surprise, House agreed and got up from his seat. Together, they headed to the latest bar that opened just last week, ready to get a drink and welcome Dr. Amelia Kelly's new arrival.
