Chapter 1

13:55, 31 May 2021

Stepping foot in Beacon Hills was a big change for the blonde, she travelled a lot but never stepped foot into a small town such as this. But she wanted a change, she needed a change, and hopefully, this was it.

The small town of Beacon Hills hadn't had anything new or mysterious happen in it for almost ten years, but this one little night changed everything for the town because soon enough the other half of Jane Doe would be discovered.

*~*

Summer had ended for Beacon Hills, students all waited for the bell to ring but not before greeting some of the friends they didn't get to see all summer, but that wasn't the case for Stiles Stilinski. He had just seen his best friend last night and he was informed by said best friend- Scott McCall that something happened to him that night.

Stiles had dragged his best friend off into the woods to look for the other half of Jane Doe's body, and in the meantime, he was getting caught and scolded by his father, so he had to leave his best friend alone in the woods.

He was looking around for his shaggy-haired best friend until he finally saw him get off his pedal chain bike, "Okay let's see this thing."

Scott lifted his shirt, and on the right side of his torso was a large white gauze patch with patches of blood leaking through. Stiles flinched a little noticing how gross it was before he reached out to touch it. Scott jumped back and released his shirt. "It was too dark to see much, but I'm pretty sure it was a wolf," Scott said,

"A wolf bit you?" His best friend asked in disbelief, Scott nodded his head not even glancing at his best friend.

"Not a chance." Stiles began to deny.

"I heard a wolf howling."

"No, you didn't." Scott looked over at Stiles in disbelief, he had no idea why he was doubting what he had heard when he knew what he heard and saw.

"What do you mean no, how do you know what I heard?"

Stiles ignored the look on his best friends face before answering him bluntly, "Because California doesn't have wolves okay? Not in like 60 years."

"Really?!"

"Yeah really, there are no wolves in California."

"Alright, well, if you don't believe me about the wolf, then you're definitely not gonna believe me when I tell you I found the body," Scott said. Stiles jerked and gasped excitedly.

"You-are you kidding?" Stiles was a little bummed out that he never got to see the body, it was the whole reason he dragged his friend out there in the first place.

"No, man, I wish. I'm gonna have nightmares for a month." Scott said as he tried to block out the gruesome image of stumbling upon the body.

"Oh, god, that is freakin' awesome. I mean, this is seriously gonna be the best thing that's happened to this town since - since." Stiles was initially thinking of Lydia Martin, the girl he had been in love with since the third grade but something had caught his eye.

Someone had caught his eye.

She had stepped out of her black BMW which happened to be parked right next to a silver Porsche, catching everyone's eye.

She's beautiful, Stiles thought- his obsession with Lydia Martin has visibly been replaced by the beautiful blonde that walked up the steps of Beacon Hills High. Stiles couldn't take his eyes off her, she wore a pink jumper that was bunched up to look like it was cropped, she matched it with a satin pink skirt that stopped just below her knee and had a slit along the side. She finished the outfit off with some killer heels, you could tell she was tall without the heels but Stiles thought she was the perfect height.

Everything about her was perfect.

*~*

Beacon Hills, a small little town in which Sage could finally start her life over.

She needed something new, something different to what her life had been like over the years and she believed that this little town had the answers. She really didn't do any research on the town itself, all she did was throw a dart on a map and it landed here.

Maybe it was fate.

Ha fate, if fate truly existed my life wouldn't be such a...

She shook away the thoughts that had entered her head, there was no way she could think about her old life, she needed to be a normal teenage girl, and normal teenage girls go to highschool.

Sage got up from the seat she was sitting in as the principal came over to her "Sorry to keep you waiting, but if you don't mind I have another student I have to pick up outside." He said smiling at her, she smiled back and nodded in return as they made their way outside.

"So Miss Guerrière is it?"

"Yes sir."

"Is that French, along with your accent?" Sage smiled, nodding back at the man, her accent wasn't as thick as it used to be but it was still very much there. People always commented on it and said how it made her mysterious and beautiful- she liked being thought of as mysterious. It did come out quite thick when she pronounced certain words, but other than that, she spoke perfect English- along with 11 other languages.

"So you grew up in France?" He asked as they made it outside.

"Yes sir, born and raised. I was homeschooled but I did travel a lot." She told the man, smiling to herself as she thought of her old home. "Well, I hope Beacon Hills becomes a home to you." Sage smiled at the man, hoping so too.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." He apologized to the brunette girl who smiled at him kindly before throwing Sage a smile. "So you were saying San Fransico isn't where you grew up?" He asked the brunette as they walked back into the school.

"No, but we lived there for a year which is unusual for my family." The girl explained and he nodded back at her in response, "Well hopefully Beacon Hills is your last stop for a while, both of you." He smiled over at them before pushing open the classroom door, they soon made their way into what appeared to be first period English.

As soon as Sage stepped in she felt a pull against her chest, she had been feeling a light pull on her chest since she first stepped into the quiet little town, but when she had gotten to school this morning she felt it pull harder, but now it was strong. Very strong.

she looked around the classroom and her gaze fell upon a boy with a buzz cut who was staring right back at her with his mouth slightly open as he stared at her in awe. Sage knew exactly what that pull was, and as much as she tried to hide it, she knew it brought a smile to her face.

"Class these are our new students, Sage Guerrière and Allison Argent." Sage quickly turned her head at the girl and the mention of her last name.

Argent.

Fuck, of course, I had to pick a town with the Argents running around, she thought to herself as she quickly glanced over at the Argent girl.

"Please do your best to make them feel welcomed." Sage could sense the Argent's girl nerves as she glanced over at her, she decided to throw Allison a kind smile before making her way over to the boy with the buzz cut.

He did a double-take when he noticed the kind smile on her face as she took a seat behind him. He turned back around to his friend before turning back to look at her.

"Uh, hi- I'm Stiles." Sage smiled at his nervousness before quickly taking the pen that he offered her- she knew she didn't need it but it was so sweet of him to offer, so she took it anyway.

"Thanks, from the introduction you already know my name- but it is nice to meet you, Stiles." Stiles awed at the girl as he heard her French accent, he could not help but blush a little from how beautiful she looked and sounded, the smile he had on his face only strengthened the pull that formed between them.

And Sage couldn't wait until it got stronger.
