"Twice."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie rolled her eyes. "And it's not gonna happen again." She told.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Annie tilted her head. "I still think you like him." She smiled.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I do not!" Kenzie exclaimed, as the two began to walk down the hallway to their next class. People moved out the way as the infamous brunettes strutted like they were on a runway.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Anyway, enough about my love life." Kenzie chuckled, flipping a chesnut curl over her shoulder. "How's Hayden?"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Annie blushed and looked down. "We're still just friends, I can't tell if he likes me or not." She sighed.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Well of course he likes you." Kenzie began. "Who wouldn't?" She insisted.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀This was the good side of Kenzie. Not the bitch, not the cold mean girl, but the loving, supportive best friend. A side many people had yet to see.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀As the two continued to walk; their heels clicking as they did so an attractive, olive skinned, brunette approached them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Hey Kenzie." He smiled, placing his hands in his pockets.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Hi Zack." Kenzie smiled back. Zack Torres was on the football team and he was pretty popular, not as popular as Johnny, but still popular. He was also extremely attractive and to Kenzie he was the perfect distraction from that blonde devil. And just like that it was like an explosion went off in her mind, and she widened her eyes. She had an idea.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I know we don't talk that much but I was wondering if you wanted to be my date to the school dance this weekend-"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I would love to!" Kenzie interjected, looking over to Annie who raised her eyebrows.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Great." Zack smiled. "I'll call you." He winked, before walking away. Kenzie turned around to face Annie.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Believe me now." She smiled smugly. "I have absolutely no feelings for Johnny."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Annie sighed. "I guess." She shrugged, shaking her head.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Zack was a good boy, who passed all his subjects, with A's. But Kenzie was no saint and Johnny was like a dirty gift that just kept giving and it wasn't in Kenzie's power to throw it away. No matter how hard she could try or how much she tried to distract herself, her mind would never leave the thought of Johnny fiery lips on hers.
