chapter six

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie walked down the sidewalk, her navy Louis Vuittons clicking away. She always enjoyed walking to school in fall, the cooling breeze helped take her mind off things and clear her head. And this morning she had a lot to clear.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀By this point she was only a few meters away from her private schools gates, when she caught a short glimpse of Johnny, resting on a brick wall, just outside the school with a cigarette resting in his soft lips. Ignoring him, she continued to walk, this time at a faster pace, not wanting to have to run into him, especially after what happened. But Johnny saw her; and her slightly high school uniform skirt. He smiled, standing up from his resting position and ran to catch up with the pacing Kenzie, who had now entered through the school gates.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Hey" Johnny called. But Kenzie kept walking.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Hey." Johnny called, louder and grabbed Kenzie's arm. Kenzie rolled her eyes, turning around.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Go away Johnny!" She shot, giving him a deathly glare.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Johnny chuckled. "She's back."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie scrunched her perfectly done eyebrows. "What's that supposed to mean?" She queried.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Nothing." Johnny sighed, moving closer to Kenzie, he whispered in her ear. "I just prefered the girl from last night."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie took a heavy, frustrated sigh, before scrunching her nose.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Ew!" She shoved Johnny away from her. "Excuse me but I've got to go find-"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Brandon?" Johnny finished for her. "Oh I don't think he'll be very happy when he hears what I've got to say."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"You won't be saying anything." Kenzie jeered. Johnny chuckled, looking down at the ground. Kenzie took a step closer.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"From this very moment and forward, the events of last night will never be mentioned again, is that clear?" She ordered.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Johnny smirked. "Not as clear as the memory of your soft, luscious lips." He emphasised, ending with a devilish grin.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie huffed, before turning around and walking away. She sashayed up the stairs leading to the inside of the school, where Annie was standing waiting for her.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Hey?" Annie said on edge, not wanting to do something to make the already agitated Kenzie even more infuriated. Kenzie shot her a glare, continuing to walk inside the school.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Why were you talking to Johnny?" Annie coaxed, trying to keep up with Kenzie and her long legs.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"It doesn't matter." Kenzie brushed off. "I hate him." Her teeth were gitted.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I need to talk to Brandon."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Annie tilted her head, a confused expression on her face. "Why?"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie sighed. "Have you seen my phone?" She asked. Annie shook her head.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I lost it." Kenzie clarified. "I haven't seen it since the party."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Annie looked worried. "But the photo, did you delete-"⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"No!" Kenzie shot. "Which is why I need to talk to Brandon." She spoke slowly, as if Annie was a baby. "Oh." Annie replied, finally catching on.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I need to find Brandon and find that damn phone, before someone else does."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀✨⭐️✨⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀[a/n looks like someone else might know about brandon and kendall !]
