When Gu Wei got down, he heard what Eros said but still asked. "Did you say something?" Eros was surprised because he thought he had only mouthed the words and hadn't voiced them out loud. "Nothing," Yibo replied. Gu Wei smiled. "Okay, let's go. They might be waiting for us. Don't overthink things, just go with the flow" Gu Wei said, but Yibo didn't understand what he meant. Before he could ask, Gu Wei walked toward the door.

"Sir, are you going home later?" the helper asked as they headed outside.

"I don't know yet, don't wait for me" he said.

Eros opened the car door for him, which surprised Gu Wei. "You know, you don't have to do that," Gu Wei said as he got into the car. "Just let me. I want to," Yibo replied and then went to the driver's seat. While they were in the car, Gu Wei stuck his hand out the window, reminding Yibo of Zhan. Zhan used to do the same thing whenever they traveled to avoid getting sleepy on the road.

Yibo: "Are you always like this?"

"What do you mean?" asked Gu Wei, still staring at his hand resting on the car window. "Keep your eyes on the road, or we'll get into an accident" he added.

"Do you have eyes on the side of your head to know I'm looking at you?" Yibo asked, making Gu Wei laugh. Then they both fell silent for a few minutes.

After a while, Yibo broke the silence. "You know, I want to know more about you" he said, seemingly surprised by his own words. Gu Wei smirked.

"Information about my life comes at a high price," Gu Wei said, grinning.

"I'm willing to pay a lot of money to know about you" Yibo replied, making Gu Wei's grin widen even more.

"I'm already rich; I don't need money," Gu Wei said, looking out of the car. "Are you willing to destroy your family? Can you leave your family just to discover who I am?" he asked, this time looking directly at Eros. Suddenly, Eros slammed on the brakes, forcing the car to a halt.

"I don't want to die yet, I still have many people to avenge for the sins they have committed against me" Gu Wei muttered clearly enough for Yibo to hear.

"I've made up my mind," Yibo thought. "Are you okay?" he asked, concerned.

"I'm fine. Can we stop by the side of the road for a smoke?" Gu Wei replied. Without another word, Yibo parked the car on the roadside. Gu Wei got out, took out a cigarette, and lit it. Yibo stayed in the car, his eyes fixed on Gu Wei.

"Wei Wei, do you really want to reveal yourself? You might as well tell him who you are" said the voice on the other end of the phone. "Is it right to get so close to them?"

"I've planned this for a long time, and you know the saying, 'Keep your friends close and your enemies closer,'" Gu Wei replied and inhaled the cigarette smoke then blew it out.

Inside the car, Yibo kept staring at Gu Wei, replaying Gu Wei's words like a broken record in his mind. "I can leave my family if I find out you and Zhan are the same person. This time, I won't listen to anyone else. If you are Zhan, even if I have to hurt my cousin, I don't care. I'll win you back. The more time passes, the more I realize how much I love you and should have trusted you more," Yibo thought as he watched Gu Wei approach the car, quickly composing himself.

As Gu Wei entered the car, both he and Yibo were silent as they neared Yibo's parents' mansion. Suddenly, Yibo spoke, "I can do it," he said softly. Gu Wei glanced at him, understanding what Yibo meant without asking.

"Do you think the information about my life is worth leaving your family behind?" Gu Wei asked. Yibo stopped the car abruptly, and Gu Wei turned to him, startled.

"Are you nuts? Why are you stopping in the middle of the road?" Before Gu Wei could finish his sentence, he felt Yibo's lips touch his.

"Hmmm, how is it, Liying? I'm just starting, and he's already giving in," Gu Wei thought. Yibo pulled away from the kiss when he heard a car horn behind them.

"Is that answer enough for your question?" Yibo asked, looking straight into Gu Wei's eyes. Gu Wei didn't reply and turned his gaze outside.

A few minutes later, they arrived at Yibo's parents' mansion. They were greeted by Yibo's parents, Haikuan, and his husband. Cheng's eyes widened while Haikuan stared at Gu Wei in astonishment.

"Good evening, everyone. I hope we're not too late," Gu Wei said, catching Haikuan and Cheng's attention immediately.

"Oh my god, am I seeing things?" Cheng asked, moving closer to Gu Wei and hugging him instead of shaking hands, which surprised Gu Wei.

"I'm Gu Wei" he introduced himself.

"Oh my god, if it weren't for your name, I'd think you were my cousin" Cheng said. "I'm Zhoucheng," he introduced himself.

"I'm Yibo's older brother" Haikuan said, still staring at Gu Wei.

"What I see in front of me are Zhan and Yibo" Katrina suddenly said, catching their attention. "Ah, sorry, come in so we can eat," she quickly changed the subject. "It's good you both made it" she said with a smile.

As they entered the house, they went straight to the dining table, where Eros and Gu Wei sat next to each other. After a while, two young boys, about A-yuan's age, approached them. Gu Wei looked at them. "These are our twin sons, Jinling and Jingyi," Cheng said.

"Hi uncle, good evening" the boys greeted. While eating, they couldn't help but ask where A-yuan was, and when they mentioned they missed him, Gu Wei seemed relieved. "My baby radish has friends" Gu Wei thought.

"Papa, Daddy, we'll go inside first. Nice to meet you again, uncle. Grandma, you'll take us to visit A-yuan tomorrow, right?" they asked. Katrina smiled at them. "Of course, and I'm sure your cousin will be very happy," she said. "Thanks, Grandma. Bye, Grandpa, Uncle Yibo," they said before heading back to their room.

As they happily chatted, Liying suddenly arrived. "So this is what my in-laws do—invite my husband over and have other people here without telling me," she said with her hands on her hips. "Liying, here you are again. When will you give me peace of mind? And never disrespect my parents in front of me" Yibo angrily said, while Gu Wei continued eating, ignoring them.

"Are you going to leave, or should I drag you out of the house?" Yibo asked. Instead of leaving, Liying moved to Yibo's side and tried to make Gu Wei leave his seat. "This is why I didn't invite you, respect my guest" Katrina firmly said.

Gu Wei looked at Liying. "I’m really curious why you’re targeting me," Gu Wei pretended to be curious. "How could she not? You look like Yibo’s husband" Cheng said, giving Liying a sharp look.

"Ah, I can't blame her when Yibo showed me a picture of himself with his HUSBAND ZHAN," Gu Wei emphasized the word husband.' Liying looked at Yibo. "You still have his picture?" she asked, but Yibo ignored her and looked at Gu Wei, who continued speaking. "I was surprised too, it was like looking in a mirror," he paused and looked at Liying.

"If Yibo’s husband is Zhan and you’re Zhan’s sister, how did you become Yibo’s wife?" Liying didn’t answer but turned pale, which secretly pleased Gu Wei. "She suddenly showed up claiming to be pregnant," Katrina interjected. Gu Wei's blood boiled, but he calmed himself by putting on a mask.

Gu Wei looked at Yibo. Without Gu Wei asking, Yibo spoke up, surprising everyone. "I was drunk and don’t remember anything" he said. "Wang Yibo, what are you implying? That I wanted it? That I seduced you?" Liying asked. Instead of Yibo answering, Gu Wei spoke. But before that, he heard Jiyang’s voice.

"Wei², just a bit more and you'll tell them the whole truth" he smirked. "You know, I find it suspicious. Look, when Zhan disappeared from the picture, the sister entered the picture, and managed to marry his brother’s husband," he chuckled. "Did you kill Zhan to get his Husband?" Gu Wei suddenly said, making Liying sweat and turn pale as a sheet.

"I’m just kidding" Gu Wei said, laughing as he held Liying’s arm. Liying’s knees trembled, and she clutched the chair. "You shouldn’t react like that, they might think it’s true" Gu Wei said, then sat back down as if nothing had happened.

"If I were Zhan, I’d take revenge on everyone involved in my disappearance and torment them until they wanted to end their own lives" Gu Wei said, taking a bite of food. "It's just too bad I’m not him, so you're safe, especially you, Liying" Gu Wei said, looking at Yibo, their eyes meeting.

"I’m getting confused" Eros thought.
