Chapter 17:

Marina's POV

Pressure was hitting me hard. Sweat was coming down from my forehead. Percy, Piper, and Annabeth looked at me with desperation, waiting impatiently for me to make my choice. I seriously didn't knew who I wanted to pick.

I knew that if I pick one I will start to feel regret for not picking the other one. Why does these kind of choices have to hit me? Why does it have to be me? Gods,  a few weeks ago I was a normal teenage girl, and now look at me.... three lives in front of me and I have to pick who I want to revive.

"Marina?" Annabeth said quietly.

"Yeah?" I said as I looked up.

"Have you decided yet?" She said as she sat next to me.

"No....." I said barely in a whisper.

My face was puffy and my eyes were red. I can feel the dried tears as I was talking. Joshua's head was in my lap, his skin turned pale, his temperature was dropping, and his blonde hair was loosing its color.

"There has to be another way." Percy said walking back and forth.

Piper had Leo on her lap and Jason had Annelis on his. Piper looked torned. It was as if part of her heart was taken away.

But.... what if there was another way..... what if I could revive the three of them. Gah, that's nonsense, my dad specifically told me I can only use it once.... wait! He said I can use it once..... not on one person, which means that I can revive the three of them at the same time, I think.

"Guys I have an idea."I said looking at them desperately.

They all looked up confused. 

"Piper, bring Leo next to me. Jason, bring Annelis on the other side." I said loud and clear.

They both nodded and carried Leo and Annelis up to me.

"What a-are you g-going to do?" Piper said sobbing.

"I'm going to try and revive the three of them at the same time." I said softly.

"That's impossible!" Annabeth yelled.

"We can stilll try though!"yelled back.

"Marina.... its already to late to save all of them...." Annabeth said barely in a whisper.

Percy grabbed Annabeth behind the back and kissed her cheek. He was telling her something I couldn't decipher but it seemed to calm her down a little.

Maybe if I thought of the three of them as one, it will work. In other words if I think of Leo, Annelis, and Joshua as one, they will all live. I just hope this happens for sure.

I took their hands and closed my eyes. Concentrating on them as a whole. I felt a strange energy coming out from my body into theirs. I opened my eyes and all I saw was brightness, the three of them were shining in white.

I let go of their hands once I felt drained. Joshua's skin turned back to its color, his cheeks filling with blood, and his blonde hair was looking blondier than ever.

Percy, Annabeth, Piper, and Jason looked wide eyed, hoping that the three will wake up.

But nothing.

I dug my head into Joshua's and started crying. I lost him, I really lost him...... for ever. 

"Marina... they're in a better place now, let's go." Percy said grabbing me up.

I screamed loudly,"Let me go!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I clenched myself to Joshua and looked around, Piper was still sobbimg next to Leo and Annelis.

I can't let them go now......

"Marina... I know how you feel..."

"No you don't!!! you don't know how it feels to loose three people, especially when you love them!!!!!" I said as I carressed Joshua's face.

Percy was about to say something but we both heard a noise.

"M......Mmmarina?" Joshua said as he opened his eyes slowly.

"Oh My GODS!!!!!!" I shrieked loudly as I pressed my lips on Joshua.

I looked to my side and Leo and Annelis were awake.

Leo was looking at me surprised, like I did something wrong...... and I did..... he saw me kissing Joshua.

Leo was going to mouth something but Piper squeezed him hard saying, "I was worried sick!!! don't die on me again!!!"

"Trust me I won't" he said laughing.

I can hear his hurt voice as he laughed... but right now its not a good time to worry about that.

"So you finally admit you like me huh?" Joshua said with a smirk.

"Oh hush Mr. Knowitall" I said biting my lip.

"Joshua?" Annelis said scratching her head.

Joshua looked up and saw his sister. He bolted right up and gave her a hug. He pulles her hair to the side and said, "Don't you ever leave me again,sis"

"I won't...... and thank you for saving me Marina." Annelis said with a crooked smile.

I was about to say something but a huge thunder blew loudly, making all of us jump.

"What's happening???!!!!!" I shouted.

"Oh no, its the Gods.... and they're not happy." Percy said

Looking at Percy's face made my stomach churn a little.

A thunder bolt hit the floor and an elevator appeared.

"Do we walk to it?" Piper asked raising her eyebrow.

"I guess." I said as I started walking.

Once we all reached the elevator, we squeezed inside uncomfortably.

Percy pressed the button and the elevator closed.

Leo was beside me,I can feel him looking at me with those piercing eyes.

I looked back at him and gave him a simple hi. But he just rolled his eyes, smirked, and looked the other way.

"What's his problem?" Joshua whispered in my ear.

"Long story." I whispered back.

Once the elevetor stopped and we got out we all were surprised at the beauty we saw before our eyes.

"Guys, welcome to Olympus." Percy said bitin his lips.

"I knew I should have put the garden on the left side instead of the right."Annabeth  said as she marked her flaws.

"You designed this place?!!!!" I said wide eyed.

"Yeah." Annabeth said with a smile.

I was going to say something but a loud sound came again. The place changed and I was in the middle of a beautiful conference room with all the Gods sorrounding me.

Percy was beside me, no one else.

Zeus, who was in the middle gave me a malicous look.

I grabbed Percy's hand. My heart was beating at a hundred miles per hour.

"So Im guessing you're wondering why you're here?" Zeus said raising his eyebrows.

I cleared my throat and said,"Yes I do"

"Your father gave you a gift in which you can revive someone, is that correct?" He asked.

"Yes."

"And you used it on three people instead of one?"

"Yes but-" he cut me off.

"And you knew that you should have used it on one person!!" he screamed.

"My father didn-" but he cut me off again.

"Just ad-"

"No, its my turn to talk, you listen the eff up! my father gave me the gift, he said I  can use it once, not one person, so how about you shut your little ass up and get that fact that you were wrong since the begining!" I shouted loud and clear.

"Do you know who you talking to?!!" Zeus said as he got up from his chair.

"Do you know who you're talking to??!" I said raising my voice.

Ares laughed saying,"We got a little smart mouth here, I'm surprised she's not my daughter."

"Marina you can't talk to a god like that." Percy said worried.

"I don't care.... and YOU Poseidon!! you didn't do crap through all of these years of my life, I lived a lie and you just let me keep going like that?!"

"Marina... its not how it seems...." Poseidon sais sadly.

"Yeah right..."

"Thats enough!!! Marina Jackson, for disrispecting the Gods, you will be sentenced to Tartarus!" Zeus said madly.
