Chapter 16:

Marina's POV

"Medea, am I right?" I said raising my eyebrow.

"That's correct" She said giving a slight chuckle.

"Marina!" Percy said loudly.

I turned around and saw Percy with the others. This time it was in person. I started to run up to Percy but I felt something hard hitting my back, sending me to the floor.

"Marina!!!!" Annabeth screamed.

Joshua took his bow out, but Medea waved her hand, sending him to the other side of the room.

"Annbeth watch out, she's really powerful!" Percy shouted.

"I think I know that, seaweed head!! btw I missed you!" She shouted back.

"Aww how sweet, but enough of the chit chat" Medea said getting up from her throne.

Annabeth went up to me and picked me up slowly. My back was still hurting but I can't show weakness now. Especially when I'm face to face with my greatest enemy.

"Why?!" I shouted loudly.

"Why what?" She said sharply, raising her eyebrow.

"Why are you doing this? What's the purpose?" I said walking towards her.

Medea rolled her eyes at me and sighed,"It's a long story okay? Anyways, I just want to destroy you, that's it"

"But that makes no sense, this whole thing doesn't make any sense, you just don't have a point" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"It was your father okay!!!! He cheated on me and no one cheats on me." She said with flames in her eyes.

"Poo-hoo, suck it up buttercup. Life is not about rainbows and unicorns, it has its dark side, get used to it, you've lived here for a long time" I said as I faced her, face to face.

"You disgust me, Jackson" She said with a grimace.

"I get that a lot.... bitch" I said kicking her in the face.

Medea stepped back and muttered a curse. I did tree back flips and uncapped Victorious, Annabeth at my side.

Medea soon gave an evil laugh and said,"You don't know my true power, Jackson!!!"

"You dont know mine either!!!" I said as I charged towards her.

Mede gave a wave of her hand and thunder came out from it. I gave a quick jump and rolled on the floor, getting up from my feet quickly.

Annabeth swunged her dagger at Medea, missing by just a mili-inch. I heard Anabeth mutter a curse but she didn't gave up yet.

She took out the coin she had in her pocket and grabbed it tightly. Her eyes changed from grey to purple, and her veins were showing around her pale skin.

"GUARDS!!!!" Medea yelled loudly.

Hundreds and hundreds of guards came out from the door. But Annabeth took care of them easily. She pointed her hand at them and all of the guards fell to the ground, each dying with different kinds of pain.

Annabeth opened her hand in which she was holding the coin and went back to normal. She fell on her knees but managed to get back up slowly.

"For a daughter of Wisdom, you sure have an inmense amount of power..... but never.... and I mean never, underestimate me!" Medea said laughing.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I said raising my eyebrow.

"This!" Medea pressed the diamond on her necklace and the room that we was in started changing. It was like the whole thing was mechanized.

The walls in the room dissappeared and all you see is a huge army around us. There must have been thousands of guards, maybe more. But were not giving up yet.

All that was left of the room was the floor. We were in the forest, but next to us was a lake, giving me a great advantage.

"You know... it was a bad idea for you to have this whole thing next to a lake" I said with a crooked smile.

"Why you say that?" Medea asked.

Joshua's POV

My vision was blurry. But I managed to get up slowly. Marina and Medea were talking. I could'nt decipher anything. My head was jumbled up.

I noticed that we wasn't in a room anymore. We were in broad daylight, with a huge army around us. Percy, Piper, and Leo tried their best at breaking the bars, but it was to hard. I ran up to them and with my hands, I burned the bars down.

The three of them came out from the cage and Medea seemed to notice it.

"NOOO!!!!" She screamed loudly.

Percy's POV

"It's over Medea!" I said as I uncapped Riptide.

Marina saw me and froze for a good minute. She soon snapped out of it and moved next to me, so did Annabeth.

"Percy" both Annabeth and Marina said.

"HOW COULD YOU!!!!!" Medea yelled at all of us.

She raised both of her hands and shot Leo and Joshua with a strike of lightning. They both flew in mid air and landed on the floor really hard.

Marina's POV

"No!!!!" I screamed loudly.

I was going to run up to them but Medea screamed once again and all the guards around us charged. Everything was happening so fast. Joshua and Leo are probably dead, and these guards were hualing around us.

I ran up to the guards and swung my sword freely, as if it was a part of my body. Percy did the same, but he did it so majestically, that it just made me want to be like him. Annabeth used the coin again and killed a good amount of soldiers.

Piper and Jason were on the other side, both of them working like a team. She was using her CharmSpeak, while Jason attacked them with his sword.

"Percy!" I shouted as I sliced one of the guards head.

"Yeah?!" He said as he rolled on the floor and punched the guards in the face.

"There's water on the other side, if we concentrate we can wipe them all out!" I said panting.

"Gotcha!" He said with a grunt.

I concentrated on the water as if it was part of me. I imagined it surging through my body. I can feel the coolness and the wetness of the lake, and as I opened my eyes I had water around my my body from head to toe. Percy too, but since he was so skilled with his power he managed to have a huge hurricane around him.

I impulsed myself up into the air and met Percy's eyes. Both of us knew what we were thinking. We got closer to each other and grabbed hands. I can feel more power coming inside of me, and I can tell that Percy did too.

The guards on the floor stopped attacking. Me and Percy extended our free hand and a huge wave of water hit all the guards, drowining them to their death.

"NO,NO, NO!!!! I HATE YOU JACKSONS!!!!!!" Medea screamed loudly.

She took Annelis by the neck and spranged it. Annelis fell to the floor.Dead.

"You bitch!!!!!" I said madly.

"You messed with the wrong bi-" But Medea stopped.

Medea looked down her stomach and noticed all the blood dripping on the floor. Annabeth stabbed her deeply, she took her dagger from Medea's stomach and nodded at me.

Both Percy and I landed on the floor softly. I ran up to Joshua and took hold of him in my lap.

I checked for his pulse, but nothing.

"No,no,no, please don't be dead.... please" I said tearing.

I pressed my face to his and said,"I'm sorry for being a dick to you, Joshua. I'm sorry, I'm sorry...."

"Marina?" Annabeth said sadly.

"Yeah?"

"Leo is dead too." She said as she brushed Leo's hair softly.

My heart broke in two. Three people died bravely today. Two of them I love, and one of them died unfairly.

But then I started thinking, there is hope. I have the power to revive someone.

"Guys!!!" I said loudly.

"What?" They all said looking at me sad eyed.

"A few days ago I had a dream with my dad and he gave me this gift to revive people bu-" I was cut off by Piper.

"Are you serious?! than what are you waiting for?! We can revive the three of them!" Piper said happily.

"But there's one thing.."

"Oh no, here comes the bad news" Percy said as he crossed his arms.

"I can only use it once."

"Oh Gods...... who are you going to choose Marina?" Annabeth said.

"Leo of course"

"No are you crazy"

They all started arguing but Annabeth yelled saying,"This is Marina's choice! she chooses who'm she wants. Just think wisely, Marina."

Just think wisely. Those words kept repeating itself in my head. My dad was right. I will have to make a hard choice. He knew that this day will come.

Now the question is. Who will I choose? Joshua, the person who annoys me, but love deeply? Leo, the person that makes me laugh, and who I also love? or Annelis, the girl who went through so many things and deserves a second chance?
