Chapter 13: Unfortunate Encounters

The tall boy turned around to search for the orange haired boy but failed. Hos blood boiled when he couldn't spot him even though the spiker stands out so much you could practically see him in a fricking snowstorm. With Hinata gone he finally opened his mouth to talk, forgetting his past worries. The others looked around but didn't see him, Asahi broke out that Nishinoya was missing too. Kageyama got even angrier at himself and at Hinata for not keeping an eye on eachother. He should've held his hand or something, anything for this dilemma to be unreal. Now the rest of the team had to go on a detour searching for their missing members.

The crowd seemed to get less crowded, Hinata thought. And before he knew it, he fell onto the ground. Outside of the crowd. Hinata's face turned into a big smile when he realized he was free. But it turned into a worrying smile when the feeling of nervousness creeped up on him again. Jeez, right after the first problem the second one comes.Toilet! He thought, the boy looked around and thought maybe he could go around the crowd though it would be a longer way to get to the gym. At last Hinata decided to go for it and made his way to the bathroom.

He puked only once this time. The feeling was gone a little after a while probably because he had already experienced this before. When he got out he bumped into a tall black haired guy. Hinata looked at his jacket realizing he was his opponent in the first practice match at traning camp. This guy was from Nekoma High.

"A-ah sorry, my bad..." Hinata said recovering from his toilet break.

"Ohh! You're that kid who can jump! You were our opponets in that practice match! Man, you're really small at such a close distance. Sup' my name's Kuroo and that's Kenma." The stranger smiled and pointed at another guy by the sinks who was almost Hinata's height. That boy was only looking at his phone though, which Hinata found rude. So he decided to greet him personally.

"Hi I'm Hinata Shouyou! Nice to meet ya!" He said with a bright smile. The boy looked concerned like he couldn't talk but still had to greet him back.

"I'm Kozume Kenma, but you can just call me Kenma."

"Oh, you can call me Shouyou then!" The boy looked up with a happy face without the smile though. The orange haired boy could feel the friendship building up. Hinata's first friend that isn't from his own team!

After a short chat the Nekoma members got out to find their team again. On the way out, Hinata caught a glimps of the black haired dude patting Kenma on top of his head like a proud father. That reminded him that he was lost too and had to get to his team. Hinata didn't know where to begin his search. He closed his eyes in front of the bathroom mirror to think things trough. That's when something weird happened. Hinata felt dizzy all of a sudden like a spell had been cast on him. The small spiker jumped up out of the sudden surprise when he opened his eyes again. A strange blue light had appeared in front of him. First he though that it was something wrong with the mirror but then he tried to touch it and his hand flew right trough. A slight feel of cold is what he felt when trying to get rid of it by pulling his hand back and forth trough the blue dots. He pulled his hand back a last time before giving up. The blue lights started to float away and trough the bathroom door. All Hinata could do was to follow it. He wasn't sure why, but he felt like he could find his way back now somehow.

After the Karasuno team got in Daichi had the team spilt up in groups depending which year you were in. As said, Kageyama, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were searching for either Nishinoya or Hinata. But all Kageyama could think about was Hinata alone, but he didn't know why. Kageyama felt something in his chest, a pain, maybe worry? Either way, he kept on searching. The 1st-years walked trough the corridor filled with different teams, they were probably waiting for the first games to start. Luckily, Kageyama's team's first match was an hour later so they didn't have to hurry at the moment. After a while of searching, a voice from the speakers announced that the spectators could go watch the games now while the doors to the actual gym opened. The hall became empty right then and there.

Kageyama got impatient fast, if Hinata (and Nishinoya) was here they would be watching the first game right now. It triggered him.

"Oh Tobio-chan~" Kageyama froze. An all to familliar voice called behind them.

Dammit.
