With the help of Lex and Tim we ran out the kitchen and up to my uncle and Ellie. As we reached them, I threw myself into Ellie's arms, letting out a breath that she's safe and with us.

"It's in there." Lex told my uncle, pointing to where we left the raptors.

"Control room." We followed Ellie to Control room, running up to a computer while uncle shut the door and waited for Ellie to lock it.

"The door locks! Ellie, boot up the door locks!" Uncle called, looking down at the lock but when he rised his head again, he came face to face with raptor through the small window in the door. It tried to open it but couldn't because of my uncle holding it and Ellie ran to help him. But what about the system, jesus?!

"Lex, you're oldest out of the three of us. Please, tell me you know something about hacking." A panic started to fill me up and turned to the blonde girl I grew to like. Like a realization flickered in her eyes and she rushed towards the computer, me and Tim standing on each her side.

"It's a unix system. I know this." Lex breath out.

"That's good, now do something before we all die! Time is short!" I turned my head from uncle and Ellie trying to hold the door shut from the raptor entering and looked at the computer, rising my voice at the end.

"It's all the files of the whole park. It tells you everything. I've got to find the right file." Lex continued. I and Tim watched his sister play with the computer before a shriek was heard and I turned. the raptor has it's claws in!

"Oh boy." Giving glance to the computer then back to uncle and Ellie, I sighed and ran for the big gun uncle let go of when the raptor tried to get in. Even though my hands still hurt, I used all my strenght to pick up the heavy gun and aimed at the raptor's claws.

"Jay, what are you doing?! Give me the gun!" My arms are shaking from the height of the gun, pain in my hands and adrenaline pumping through my body, however I ignored my uncle and shot right in it's finger, making it pull back in pain. The shot was too much for me it forced me backwards on the little bit of stairs, rolling down and landing harshly on my side. Ow. How I have not broken a bone I'm still surprised.

"You got it!"

"Yes!" When my head stopped throbbing I caught Lex and Tim cheering, so I guess she finally got the right file and hacked everything back like it was.

"Jay, come on. Up you go." Uncle Alan helped me onto my feet, well more like lifted me up, and looked me in the eyes with strictness. Uh oh. "You are the most stubborn and bravest child I ever meet." With the lack of my strenght I managed to give him a grin and we ran to others.

"What works?" Uncle asked.

"All security systems are enabled. We got it!" At Lex's response uncle reached for the phone and dialed a number. Not a long after Mr. Hammond picked up. Him and the five of us are probably the last alive.

"Come here, sweatheart." Ellie wrapped her arms around my body and I around her neck, melting into the warmth of her embrance. Whanever her or uncle hugs me, I always feel like at home, because wherever they are is my home as well. They are my home.

"Please, don't leave me again." I didn't realized I'm crying when a sob escaped me and something wet slid down my cheek. I felt her hand run along my braids.

"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." Her gentle whispering voice set me into calmness, but that was cut out short when we heard glass shattering. The raptor!

"It's gonna cut through the glass!" Uncle fired at the window where we can see the raptor, although it ducked the bullet. I ran for my cap that fell of when I went rolling down the small stairs and grabbed it, putting it on my head and crawled up the ladder after Tim and Ellie right behind me.

We crawled after my uncle as he found a hole we can go through. Lex's scream alarmeded us about the raptor sticking it's head in and we went to help her. Uncle kicked the dinosaur in the face, making it let go and fall back but with Lex as well. Thankfully she managed to catch herself and we helped her back up before the raptor could bite her leg off.

Finally we managed to crawl out the vent and happened to appear in the main room with the two skeletons I was so amazed at the beginning. A shriek came from behind us and our eyes widened with fear and horror when another raptor stood not far from us.

We jumped at the skeleton of brachiosaurus, not really sure why because it's not a way out but we have no where to go. I crawled at the neck and towards the head of the second skeleton. The raptor jumped at our skeleton and broke it into three pieces. I managed to jump at the head, my arms spread out around it and gripping edges of it's snout with tight grip. But I'm slipping and my arms are to short, so it's only my fingers holding onto it.

Glancing over my shoulder, I see my friends fall with the hanging bones and now all four of them are together down there, except for me. The raptors that appeared to be three cornered them and it's only question of time when will they strike.

Should I jump and join them or try to keep myself up here and save my life for a little longer? Looks like I have answered when my fingers started slipping. "Oh no." My eyes widen and my finger gave up. If I was quickier I would've catch myself onto the skeleton's jaw but to my great luck I didn't and fell straight to the ground onto my back. Owwwww.

"Jane! Watch out!" I heard my name being called and opened my eyes, only to push myself into half sitting half lying position, staring back at the raptor that turned it's attention to me. Oh boy, not again.

And like before it didn't do anything, yet, just stared and studied me. I think it's that one raptor from before and quess she remember me. My body started shaking in fear when it started to feel like forever of her death stare.

"Jay!" My uncle called for me, still i couldn't bear to look at him out of fear.

It turned her head to her friends and they said something to each other, and when she turned her head back to me, she moved forward. On instinct I started crawling back and away from her, yet the distance between us only grew smaller with her footsteps. When she almost reached my feet, she was snatched away from me and thrown across the room. When I looked up above myself, my eyes sparkled with happiness.

"Rexy!" And I was starting to wonder where is she. Thankfully she got right on time. From what I understand from my position, Rexy stood above me in protective way, glaring at the other two raptors. The two left ones shrieked and ran at Rexy, jumping at her and attacking her. They fought while I watched, still not moving from my position. Haven't I talked about something similar with sexy man Ian before? Where is he by the way?

"Jay, come on!" Arms lifted me up and carried out of the main building with others following. Still something was holding me back and not leave Rexy behind.

"No, wait! What about Rexy?" I called over Ellie's shoulder, reaching my arm out like for Rexy to come to me. I don't want to leave her, and I don't even know why.

"She'll be good. Now in the car." We climbed in as Ellie sat me beside Ian, who I thought is dead by now. Lucky man.

"You're still alive?" I questioned with hint of fake annoyance, only joking around. Hammond started the car and we started driving away.

"Disappointed to see me, Mini Grant?" Ian smirked at my glaring face, finding it more funny than threatening.

"Every time." I gave him sarcastic smile at which he ruffled my braided hair with laugh, making a giggle escape me as well. Alright, alright, I missed him a little, more. From the main building where we left Rexy with raptors was heard her roar, and I hope it's her victory roar. Sudden sadness took over me and I watched the path behind us, knowing I will miss this dinosaur I made friends with.

Suddenly the wind blowing through my hair became colder and realized I'm missing something. "My cap! I lost my cap!" I called, patting my head and hoping I will feel fabric under my hand but unfortunately it's only my hair.

"I'm sorry, Jane. We can't go back." Ellie gave me sympathetic look, knowing I loved that cap.

The car finally stopped and we climbed out, instead going into the helicopter that's waiting for us. When Hammond and uncle Alan climbed in as well, the helicopter took off. I sat between Ian and Ellie, leaning against the woman I see as my aunt shoulder while watching outside the window.

I noticed Tim and Lex fell asleep on my uncle's each side, leaning against his shoulders. And he smiled at them. Now I have something to tease him with.

"Still think kids are bad?" Uncle lifted his eyes from the two kids and chuckled at my remark, shaking his head. I gave grin of my own with long tired sigh following after and cuddled into Ellie's side, feeling her arms around me tighten.

"I'm never going back on that island." I said out loud, still having a feeling that this isn't the last time I saw Rexy and walked on Isla Nublar.

Oh, only if I knew..
