𝐓he alarm clock rings loudly at 6:30 AM, breaking the quiet of the morning. Na-hee is snuggled under her warm blanket, sleeping peacefully. The bright sunlight starts to shine through the curtains, making the room feel cozy. Na-hee woke up to the sound of their alarm ringing. The soft morning light peeked through the curtains, casting a warm glow in the room. Na-hee stretched their arms wide and let out a big yawn, feeling the cozy blanket still wrapped around them.

Na-hee swings her legs over the side of the bed and feels the cool floor beneath her feet. After a few moments of gathering energy, Na-hee finally got out of bed. They shuffled to the bathroom, where the cool water splashed on their face felt refreshing. After brushing their teeth, Na-hee looked in the mirror and wore the uniform that consist of a crisp white shirt and a green cardigan, which added a cozy touch to her outfit, complete with a bow attached. The checkered skirt underneath fell just above her knees that adds a nice touch of style to the uniform.

After getting dressed, she brushes her hair, making sure it looks nice. She decides to wear it down today, letting it fall around her shoulders. Then, she heads to the kitchen for breakfast. In the kitchen, she pours a bowl of cereal and adds some milk. She grabs a glass of juice and sits at the table, munching on her breakfast while checking her phone for any messages from Na-yeon who was mostly excited for her than her herself.

As she eats, she thinks about her new school. She feels a mix of excitement and butterflies in her stomach. With breakfast done, Na-hee went to their room to pack their backpack. They carefully placed their notebooks, colorful pens, and a new sketchbook inside. Na-hee also packed a delicious kimbap for lunch, made by Mom the night before. They couldn't wait to share it with Na-yeon.

Finally, she puts on her shoes, carefully lacing them up and making sure they fit perfectly. The familiar feeling of her favorite shoes gives her a sense of comfort. She stands up and adjusts her outfit, smoothing out any wrinkles in her skirt and checking that her hair sit just right. Na-hee grabs her backpack from the chair, feeling its weight settle on her shoulders. The straps are soft against her skin, and she takes a moment to appreciate the little keychain dangling from the zipper.

With one last look in the mirror, she checks her appearance and gives herself an encouraging nod. As she reaches for the doorknob, feeling its cool surface under her fingertips. Taking a deep breath, she fills her lungs with the fresh morning air, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves swirling inside her. Na-hee stepped outside, feeling the cool morning breeze against their skin. The neighborhood was quiet, with only the sound of birds chirping. With a smile on their face, Na-hee felt ready for whatever the day would bring.

She walked towards the school with a bright smile on her face. As she crossed the road, she noticed several students staring at her in shock and confusion. She simply smiled back at them, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. Maybe they were surprised by her new face in their school. News spread quickly around Hyosan.

After she successfully made it to the other side, she pulled out her phone and saw a message from Na-yeon saying they would meet at the gate. Na-hee felt a wave of happiness wash over her. Not only was she in the same school as Na-yeon, but they were also in the same classroom! She couldn't help but feel grateful and excited.

She looked at the time on her phone, which she had just taken out of her pocket. It was 7:20, which meant she had some time to wait for Na-yeon, who always took forever to get ready. Na-hee wondered to herself if Na-yeon spent as much time studying as she did on her appearance, she might actually pass her classes. A small smile crept onto her face as she thought about it.

Suddenly, someone bumped into her, causing her phone to slip from her hands and hit the ground. Panic surged through her as she quickly picked it up, brushing the dirt off and checking for any cracks. Relieved to find it not broken, she looked up to apologize for standing in the way. Her breath caught in her throat as she locked eyes with a strikingly handsome male student, who towered over her. His hair is perfectly slicked back as his cologne hits her nose. It's cool, but why does men's cologne always last even through the evening? It's unfair.

They both froze for a moment, the world around them fading as they exchanged apologies. "I'm sorry, I should have paid attention to my surroundings" Na-hee said, her cheeks warming as she felt a flutter in her stomach. The guy simply smiled, his eyes twinkling with kindness. "I'm sorry too" he replied softly, his voice smooth and reassuring. "Are you okay?" he asked, genuine concern etched on his face.

Na-hee nodded, a smile breaking across her lips. "Yes, thank you." They shared a brief moment of connection, both nodding to each other before he turned to walk away, probably heading inside the school. Where is Na-yeon? Na-hee thought, a hint of worry creeping in.

Just then, someone tapped her shoulder, nearly making her jump. She turned around to see her best friend Na-yeon, who looked unusually cheerful. Na-yeon wore a pink cardigan over her uniform, and it suited her perfectly, making her look even more vibrant.

"Heyy hee!" Na-yeon greeted, wrapping her arm around Na-hee's shoulders in a warm embrace. "Hi Na-yeon, the cardigan looks great on you" Na-hee complimented, genuinely impressed.

"Thank you! Now let's go before we're late for your first day!" Na-yeon exclaimed, playfully spinning Na-hee around toward the school building as they started walking.

"Since when did you care about being on time?" Na-hee teased, raising an eyebrow at her friend.

Na-yeon huffed, a playful pout forming on her lips. "Since it's your first day here! I'm just being nice" she replied, adjusting her backpack with a determined look.

Na-hee chuckled, feeling a rush of excitement mixed with nerves as they made their way to the school. She couldn't shake the memory of the handsome guy from earlier, but for now, she was grateful to have Na-yeon by her side. "You're in luck because we have the same classroom, Kim Na-hee!" she finished, her hands waving at her sides while walking.

Na-hee and Na-yeon made their way toward the school building, stepping inside with a mix of happiness and curiosity. Na-hee glanced around, taking in the new environment, and couldn't help but smile at the fresh start ahead of her. Na-yeon nudged her softly, breaking her thoughts.

"Are you nervous?" Na-yeon asked, her voice laced with concern.

"A little bit, but I'm excited!" Na-hee replied cheerfully, her eyes sparkling with happiness.

Na-yeon smiled warmly, her heart warming with affection for her friend. "That's Na-hee for sure" she commented, her tone playful as she guided Na-hee toward their classroom. Na-hee followed her like a lost puppy, her steps quickening to keep up with Na-yeon's confident stride.

As they walked, Na-hee couldn't help but notice the innocent atmosphere surrounding them. The walls were adorned with bright artwork, and laughter echoed in the hallways, creating a sense of belonging. To keep the boredom away, they chatted sharing little jokes, their laughter mixing with the sounds of the bustling school. Na-hee felt a warmth spreading in her chest, grateful for Na-yeon's presence.

Na-hee was distracted in her conversation with Na-yeon that she didn't realize she had walked ahead, almost missing their classroom. Just as she was about to pass their classroom, Na-yeon grabbed Na-hee's backpack and pulled her back, but in the process, Na-hee's hair got caught in the straps. She stumbled, nearly falling just outside the classroom, and her heart raced at the thought of how embarrassing that would have been.

Na-hee turned to Na-yeon, her face scrunched up in a mix of annoyance and embarrassment. She instinctively reached back to rub the spot on her head where the backpack had tugged at her hair. "That hurts" Na-hee commented, her cheeks flushing slightly.

Na-yeon cringed, her eyes wide with concern. "I'm so sorry! I just grabbed your backpack, I didn't realize your hair was caught in it," she replied, her voice laced with guilt.

Na-hee scratched her head, trying to shake off the awkwardness. "Well, we're here at your new classroom" Na-yeon said, attempting to lighten the mood with a bright smile.

Na-hee nodded, still holding onto that cringe worthy feeling. Na-yeon shook her head playfully. "Fix your appearance" she said, flicking Na-hee's forehead gently.

"Ow!" Na-hee exclaimed, caressing her forehead with a pout. Despite the minor mishap, a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips, grateful for Na-yeon's playful spirit.

Na-yeon gently smoothed out the wrinkles on Na-hee's uniform, her fingers working to make everything look perfect. With a soft smile, she tucked a few stray strands of hair behind Na-hee's ear, her touch reassuring. Na-hee could only nod, lost in her own little world, feeling a warm flutter in her chest as Na-yeon's caring gestures made her heart race. Na-hee couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and admiration for her friend.

Footsteps echoed softly as they approached the two girls, and Na-yeon gently tapped Na-hee's shoulder, pointing ahead. Na-hee turned around to see a female teacher with a warm, inviting smile. Instinctively, she straightened her posture, returning the smile.

"Hello, good morning, Na-yeon, and your friend?" Mrs. Park greeted, her voice filled with kindness.

"Mrs. Park, good morning! This is Kim Na-hee, the new student and my best friend!" Na-yeon exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with pride as she introduced Na-hee.

Mrs. Park's gaze shifted to Na-hee, her smile radiating a motherly warmth. "Oh, of course! My new student. My name is Park Sun-hwa, but you can call me Mrs. Park" she said, her tone gentle and welcoming.

Na-hee bowed her head slightly in greeting, feeling a flutter of nerves mixed with excitement. "Good morning, Mrs. Park. I'm glad to be your student" she replied, her smile bright and genuine.

Mrs. Park chuckled softly, her heart swelling with warmth as she observed the bond between the two girls. Na-yeon, with her infectious towards Na-hee was absolutely adorable, and Mrs. Park felt grateful that Na-yeon had found such a wonderful friend in Na-hee.

"Anyway, let's get inside the classroom. Your new classmates must be waiting" Mrs. Park said with a warm smile to Na-hee. She turned to Na-yeon, her eyes sparkling with encouragement. "Na-yeon, after we get inside, please sit in your designated seat, alright?" Na-yeon nodded eagerly, a bright smile lighting up her face.

"Don't be nervous, Na-hee. If anyone says something mean, I'll kick them out" Mrs. Park reassured her, her voice soothing and kind. With that, she slid open the classroom door, and all the students inside turned their attention to the three of them, their eyes wide with curiosity.

Mrs. Park gestured for the two girls to enter. Na-hee stepped in first, her heart racing but determined to keep a smile on her face. Na-yeon gave her a thumbs up, a gesture of support, before heading to her assigned seat.

Mrs. Park and Na-hee walked to the center of the classroom, and the atmosphere buzzed with curiosity. "Alright, as you all know, you have a new classmate" Mrs. Park began, her motherly smile warmth. "I expect you all to treat her with respect, alright?"

She then moved to the side, gesturing for Na-hee to speak. Taking a deep breath, Na-hee stepped forward, her palms slightly sweaty but her spirit high. "Hello everyone, my name is Kim Na-hee. I hope we can all get along well" she greeted, bowing slightly while her hand rested on the strap of her bag, a mix of excitement and nervousness swirling within her.

The classroom was filled with a reassuring warmth that made Na-hee feel instantly welcome. Dae-su leaned closer to Wu-jin and whispered, "Our new classmate is coming today? I didn't know!" Wu-jin, however, was completely entranced, his gaze fixed on Na-hee as she entered. His eyes sparkled with admiration, a soft smile creeping onto his lips. *Na-hee's the new student. That's amazing.* he thought to himself, his heart fluttering with excitement.

Dae-su raised his eyebrows, curiosity risen as he observed his brother in law's reaction. He waved his hand in front of Wu-jin's face, teasingly calling out, "Hello? Earth to my brother in law?" Wu-jin remained oblivious, lost in his thoughts as he continued to admire Na-hee.

Dae-su followed Wu-jin's gaze, his grin widening as he realized what was happening. Leaning back in his chair, he muttered to himself, "That's why." A hint of surprise danced in his eyes, he could already see the playful teasing he would unleash on his brother in law later for daydreaming so openly. Dae-su couldn't help but feel a sense of mischief brewing within him.

Dae-su leaned in towards Joon-yeong, who was spinning a pen between his fingers, his curiosity piqued by the new student. "I think Wu-jin just fell in love with the new student," Dae-su whispered, his eyes sparkling with mischief. Joon-yeong raised his eyebrows, glancing over at Wu-jin, who seemed utterly captivated by the newcomer. A smirk crept onto Joon-yeong's face.

"Why are you telling me this?" he asked, his tone laced with playful annoyance as he continued to spin the pen.

"I don't know, I thought you'd be happy" Dae-su replied with a huff, crossing his arms.

"Why would I be?" Joon-yeong shot back bluntly, his expression unchanging.

"Because Wu-jin is getting all lovey dovey! You never know, you might be next!" Dae-su teased, leaning in closer and making a kissy face, his eyes wide with playful excitement.

Joon-yeong rolled his eyes, a mix of annoyance and amusement flickering across his face. He raised his other hand and gently placed it on Dae-su's face, stopping him in his tracks. "Seriously, cut it out" he said, trying to suppress a smile as he pushed Dae-su away playfully. The air between them was charged with a lighthearted tension.

"Does anybody have questions for Na-hee?" Mrs. Park asked the class, her voice cheerful and inviting. Dae-su immediately raised his hand, catching Joon-yeong off guard. *He can raise his hand for this, but not when Mrs. Park is asking a question?* Joon-yeong thought, shaking his head in disbelief.

Mrs. Park nodded, gesturing for Dae-su to speak. "What is it, Dae-su?" she inquired, a playful smile on her lips.

"My friend was wondering if you're single?" Dae-su replied, mischievously pointing at Wu-jin, who was still lost in thought, captivated by the new student. The classroom erupted in laughter at the sight of Wu-jin's stunned expression.

Wu-jin snapped out of his daydream, confusion washing over his face as he looked around at his classmates. Even Mrs. Park was chuckling, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "What is it?" Wu-jin asked, noticing Dae-su's finger directed at him. In a moment of embarrassment, he playfully swatted Dae-su's hand away.

"Wow, Wu-jin, are you already crushing on the new student?" Mrs. Park teased, her voice light and teasing, and the rest of the room joined in, laughter echoing off the walls. Wu-jin's face turned a deep shade of red, and he instinctively covered his face with his hands, trying to hide his embarrassment.

Joon-yeong watched the scene unfold, a mix of disbelief and amusement on his face. He glanced at the new student, who was blushing furiously, and couldn't help but chuckle softly to himself. *Cute* he thought, a small smile creeping onto his face.

Na-hee felt her face turn a deep shade of red as she caught sight of Wu-jin. Her heart began to race uncontrollably. *WU-JIN IS MY CLASSMATE?* she thought, excitement and panic swirling within her. Her cheeks flushed even deeper when someone confirmed it, and she could feel the heat radiating from her face. "Alright, alright, everyone settle down. Let Na-hee breathe" a voice teased, pulling her from her thoughts. *Phew* Na-hee sighed internally, grateful for the distraction.

"Na-hee, your seat will be next to Choi Nam-ra" Mrs. Park announced, gesturing towards a female student who was distracted in her notes, her face hidden from view. Na-hee nodded, a smile creeping onto her lips as she made her way to her seat, her heart fluttering with anticipation.

As she settled down, Na-hee was about to greet her seatmate when she finally caught a glimpse of Nam-ra's face. Instantly, she turned away, her heart racing even faster. *It's that girl!* Na-hee thought in a panic. Seriously, why did the world feel so small? She sat there, her mind racing, eyeing Nam-ra nervously. This was the first time she felt shy about greeting someone, and she waited patiently for Nam-ra to notice her.

Out of the corner of Nam-ra's eye, she finally turned to look at the new student. "Why?" she asked, her eyebrow slightly raised, a hint of curiosity in her voice.

"Hey, I'm Kim Na-hee " Na-hee managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper, her heart pounding in her chest.

Nam-ra nodded, her expression neutral. "Choi Nam-ra" she replied before returning to her notes, seemingly unfazed. But Na-hee noticed the slight shift in Nam-ra's demeanor, as if a memory flickered in her mind. Nam-ra swore she had seen Na-hee before. Oh right, she was the girl who almost fell on her roller skates! A smirk tugged at Nam-ra's lips as she recalled the amusing incident, her curiosity deepen about the girl sitting next to her.

Cheong-san sat there, his eyes fixed on the new student as she gracefully made her way toward her seat next to Nam-ra. His mouth fell slightly agape, a mix of surprise and joy washing over him as he realized she was the new girl. It felt as if the universe had answered his silent prayers, bringing him the chance to meet her once again. A wave of happiness surged through him, he couldn't ignore. He couldn't help but smile, his heart racing at the thought of finally being able to talk to her.
