Shadow's POV

Honestly,some people had perhaps misunderstood about my relationship with Mephiles. Yes...I am jealous..and at the same time hurt when my Father compliments Mephiles a lot even though I'm his own son. Always comparing me to him. But...Mephiles and I have a good relationship to each other. We're like even brothers

Well,this made me feel guilty especially of what I was thinking lately

"No, no. I can handle this"He said as I was about to put down his luggage

"Where's uncle?"He asked

"He got out for his meeting about the company"I simply said

"Oh.."He nodded

"I'll lead you to your room"I said

A maid walk towards us,I gestured to her to bring us the luggage. As we walk upstairs,me and Mephiles are having a little chit-chat to get out of the rather seeming boring atmosphere

"Many people don't know about the special guest"I said

"Then perhaps I think it'll be a surprise?"Mephiles chuckled lowly

Mephiles,a son of my dad's brother. Also from a famous company

"This'll be your room"I said opening the door

I saw the maid with the luggage and Mephiles helped her to put the luggage down. Mephiles walked inside of his room and began to unpack

"I'm just gonna unpack this. So after this,we can talk"He smiled

I nodded

I walked downstairs. I saw my phone vibrating on the table

"Hello?"

"Rouge?Why did you call?"

"Nothing. Just wanna know how are you doing"She said

I can tell she's smiling through the phone

"Why thank you, I'm fine. Mephiles had just arrived"

"Oh. Tell him I said 'Hi'"She giggled slightly

I smirked

"Call you later. Bye"I said before hanging up the phone

I sat on our sofa and sighed. I'm helping the principal for some ideas for the upcoming acquaintance party. He also told me I'm going to be the president of the student councils. I was annoyed the fact that there's a distaste on his voice,I mean, it's like he never approved to the idea of me being the president. Maybe someone did

"Mephiles, Rouge said a 'Hi' to you"I said

But when no answer,I turn around

"Hey..."

I almost jumped as I heard a taunting voice and when someone tapped my shoulder. Mephiles chuckled seeing my reaction

"Stop doing that"I growled

He just laughed

"It's fun seeing your reaction. Ever since we were kids"He slightly smirked

"Whatever"I said

He just snickered
