"I DEFINITELY NEEDED that pizza." i groan as i eat that last piece.

after the grammy's, milo and i decided to skip the after party and go to a twenty four hour pizza place instead.

the two of us were both starving when we left and pizza sounded really good.

"yeah, i can tell. i think i saw you swallow every slice whole." he teased as i wiped my mouth with a napkin.

i laugh softly at his joke as i take the napkin and toss it at him jokingly. "shut up, like you were much better." he laughed lightly as he leaned back in the chair.

"whatever." he laughed as he tossed the napkin back at me. i just laugh softly as i lean back in my chair.

I looked at him to see he looked pretty relaxed in his chair. "thanks for letting me be your plus one tonight. it was a lot more fun than i thought." he admits to me.

i smile lightly as I keep my eyes on him. he had his jacket taken off and it was draped on the back of his chair.

his hair was a little messy as he kept his eyes on me. "yeah, i'm glad you got to come. i think you made it fun with your commentary and singing." i laugh softly.

he laughed along as he nodded his head. "i can't help myself, i'm a fun guy." i cringed at his joke and laughed softly.

"that was just bad, milo." i joke with him. he laughed as well as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"yeah, can't win them all i guess." he shrugged. it was quiet for a moment as the two of us took everything in.

i see him shift in his seat for a moment as he looks at me. "you don't have to answer this, but what happened between you and barry?"

i wasn't mad with him asking and i didn't mind talking about it now. yeah, i was upset and sad about it the first couple weeks but i'm pretty much over it by this point.

"no, it's okay. one night i was at his place and he was in the shower. he got a text message and I got curious and looked. it was some random girl that he hooked up with." i shrugged.

he frowned as he listened to me explain the story to him. "i'm sorry. that's really shitty of him. especially since you two were together for a while." he said genuinely.

i sighed and nodded my head. "i'm just happy i found out and learned about it so i could break up with him for it." i admit to him.

he nodded his head as he kept his eyes on me. talking to milo is extremely easy. that's something i've learned while the two of us talked.

"you know, if you need it, I can beat his ass. i am extremely taller than him so i think i can take him on."

i knew he was joking but i could tell there was a hint of seriousness in it. i just laughed lightly while i kept my eyes on him.

"yeah, i'll keep that in mind. thanks, milo." he just shrugged again as he kept his eyes on me.

the two of us looked at each other for a moment before i cleared my throat.

"we should head home before it gets too late." he nodded his head as he stood up, grabbing his jacket.

"lets go, miss grammy winner." he teased as he stuck his hand out for me to grab. i waste no time and grabbing it and stand up.

i'm gonna have to thank joey for the idea for inviting him.
