I WAS GETTING my hair and make up done for the grammy's at my house. milo was getting ready at his house and I know he should be here soon so we can leave together.

during the past few weeks, the two of us have been texting more. i didn't realize how funny he was to talk to.

he had also convinced me to start his paramount plus show, school spirits. we can say i've been sleep deprived during these past few weeks.

between rehearsing for the grammy's, staying up late to watch his show, and getting the second leg of the tour ready, i've been extremely busy.

at the end of the month, i'm flying out to europe to do my european part of my short n' sweet tour.

i'll only be gone for a month so it wasn't going to be too long. i was just both nervous and excited for tonight.

i was excited to perform for everyone, but i was nervous about whether i would actually win anything.

i just think it would be amazing if i won my first grammy tonight. when my make up and hair was completely done, i got my dress on for the carpet.

it was a baby blue satin dress that was open in the back. instead of the strap going on my shoulders, it ties around my neck and the chain hangs low from my back.

around my waist and at my feet, there's feathers that tie it together. as my designer makes sure my dress looks decent on me, i heard my front door open and close.

"milo?" i call out. i haven't been able to check my phone in the past couple of hours knowing i've been getting ready.

i did text him during a break that whenever he arrives, he can just walk in. "yeah, it's me." i heard him call out. i looked over whenever i heard him walk into my living room.

i could see the breath catch in his throat whenever he steps in and looks at me. he looks over at me and scans me up and down.

i could feel my face heat up slightly as he looks me up and down. i couldn't help but look him up and down as well.

i couldn't help but think about how good he looked in his suit. he cleared his throat as his eyes looked back up into mine.

"you look really great." he spoke, his voice clearly a little strained.

i smile a little bit as i keep my eyes on him. "thanks, you too." i speak up.

before we could say anything else, my manager spoke up. "we better head out so we're not late." the two of us pile in the back of the car so we can head to grammy's.

i looked over at him with a small smile on my face as he looked out the window.

"thank you for coming and being my plus one. it means a lot." i speak up.

he looks over at me and smiles slightly. "of course, anything for a friend." he nudged my shoulder as i laugh lightly.

i then get quiet for a moment as i look into his chocolate brown eyes.

"you do know that people are going to be talking about you coming with me right? people are going to make rumors up about you being a rebound or some other shit." i ramble.

he laughs softly as he grabs onto my hand. "chelsea, it's okay. if i didn't want to do it, i wouldn't have agreed when you asked me."

i looked at him in almost disbelief whenever he spoke. he squeezed my hand reassuringly as he kept his eyes on me.

"it wouldn't be my first dating rumor and i'm sure it won't be my last. i don't care about the rumors. honest." i just smile softly as i keep my eyes on him.

"so when the rumors do appear, it's not going to scare you away?" i ask looking into his eyes. he made a noise with his mouth and shook his head.

"fuck no." when we get to grammy's, milo helps me climb out of the car.

the fans that were around clapped and cheered as we made it to the red carpet. during the whole process, he made sure to stay by my side.

we did get some pictures together but he eventually stepped aside and let me have my moment, which i was grateful for.

i posed for the pictures and did my interviews perfectly and it felt good to have him near me.

i was just curious on what the fans would say.
