Chapter 62

17:04, 4 March 2015

Lynnette's P.O.V

His jaw completely drops. "Wha--"

I cut him off. "We're going with you," I giggle.

He sighs in relief. "Then why were you crying?" He asks confusedly.

"Because we both wanted another baby before Romeo was two," i state. He nods slowly, still confused. "we will not be in California until he's almost two. We won't have time," I whisper.

He shrugs. "So we'll make time, Lynn." He says with a shy smile. I shake my head as the tears start up again. "What? What's wrong?" He supportively pulls me down to him.

I put my hands over my face and rest my head on his chest, sobbing. "I-It was so hard for us just to have one," I mumble against the fabric of the comforter.

His hand slowly rubs my back as I cry into the blanket. "Lynn, shh. It's going to be alright, baby. Think happy thoughts," he says positively.

I move over and lay next to him. "I don't want to think at all," I groan. He kisses my cheek before letting me have my space. 12:45 in the morning, a crying mess. After a few hours, or so, I look over at ross.

He turns his head to look at me. We stare at each other for a few minutes. "You wanna lay on me?" He asks sweetly.

I'm quick to lay my head on his chest. "Thank you," I say quietly.

He soothingly rubs my back. "You're welcome, baby. Goodnight, I love you," he says softly in my ear.

I snuggle closer to him. "Night, I love you more," I yawn.

I wake up around 9:30am to Romeo babbling beside me. He sits straight up, saying "dada" over and over. I pull him closer to me, kissing his chubby cheek. He laughs as I sit up. He grabs my face and kisses my nose. "Mom-ma," he says as he clings to me.

I carry him downstairs. "Say it again," I encourage the small child.

"Momma," he yells.

Ross turns his head to look at us. He smiles before going back to cooking breakfast. "Can you say; momma and dada?" I carry him to the living room.

He stares at me for a moment. "Dada ba momma!" He exclaims confidently.

I playfully roll my eyes. "Close enough," I laugh. "Rossy!" I yell to my fiancé cooking.

"Wossy!" Romeo repeats.

Ross comes in laughing. "Not you too!"he playfully groans.

Ross sits next to me, wrapping his arm around me. Romeo climbs on my lap. "Momma," he mumbles as he pushes Ross' arm away.

I look down at the small, possessive child. "She's my partner in crime. Do you want daddy to leave?" Ross asks as he stands up.

The small boy shakes his head. "Dada!" He reaches for Ross.

I stare at the floor, trying to figure out why he's acting like this. Then, it hit me. "Ross, I think he's doing this because one of us is always with him. Never both," I whisper.

He looks down at the child who is sucking on his pacifier. "Maybe," ross sighs. "Foods ready," he states as he stands up.

After we eat, take showers and give Romeo a bath,we try to teach him how to walk. I stand Romeo up, glancing at Ross. I sigh at the sight of him texting away. I turn my focus back to my son. He takes a few steps, holding my hands. When I let go, he falls on his butt. Ross sits across from me, giving the small boy a target to walk to. "Go to daddy," I whisper. Romeo takes four steps before collapsing into Ross' arms. "Good job, baby!" I exclaim.

"Momma?" He looks at me confused.

I nod. He stands up, falling with nearly every step. Eventually he makes it over to me. "Great job, baby!" He laughs and lays his head on my thigh, curling in a ball between my legs. I stroke his cheek for a few minutes until he's asleep. I lay him flat on the ground and pull a blanket over him. Ross sits on the couch, texting away again. "Maybe not," I scoff before carrying the baby upstairs.

Ross follow quickly behind me. "Maybe not, what?" He asks as he grabs my arm. I yank it for his grip. After laying the baby in bed, I walk and out close the door. "Maybe not, what?" Ross asks impatiently.

"Maybe we won't go on tour with you," I say as I walk downstairs.

He grabs my arm again. I push him off of me. "Why wouldn't you?" He growls.

Is he really this oblivious? "Your son just took his first steps. But you wouldn't know that because you were too busy with this," I snatch his phone from him. My instinct was to read the lock screen.

Cara: 1 new iMessage

Diana: 1 new text message

I shove his phone into his chest. "You promised me all this shit would stop, Ross." I walk up to my room and slam the door. I slide down it, hurrying my face in my hands to sob.
