Chapter 61

Ross' P.O.V

My body rests on top of Lynn's. She plays with my hair as we watch tv. "I love you, Lynnie," I whisper as I kiss her chest.

She giggles. "I love you, too, Rossy."

I push my self off of her with a groan caused by Romeo crying. "Do you ever sleep more than five minutes?" I care him to the kitchen. I sit him in his high chair to feed him. After he finishes, I lift him out of the Chair. I glance at Lynn to see her sleeping. "Look at your beautiful mommy."

He laughs and reaches for her. I set him on her stomach, allowing him to crawl all over her. "Mm," she groans. "Hi baby." She kisses his forehead. He falls asleep on her. "It's 11:30, we should go to bed," she yawns as she gets up.

I nod and get the child ready for bed. She gets ready at the same time. I quickly finish getting before hurrying to bed. Lynn lays, facing the wall. I shut off the light and climb in next to her. "Are you okay, baby?" I wrap my arm around her waist.

She sniffles, wiping away a few tears. "Uh.. yeah, I'm fine," she mumbles.

I press my lips to the back of her neck. She turns around in my arms, burying her face in my neck. She begins sobbing quietly. I lay on my back, pulling her completely on top of me. "Shh, baby, shhh." I rub her back and kiss her forehead. "It's alright, it's okay," I whisper. She sobs for a few more minutes before she sits up. Wiping away her tears, I gently rub her thighs. "You're okay, baby," I say assuringly.

She nods with a small sniffle. "I guess so."

Entwining our fingers, I ask, "what's wrong?" I kiss her hand lightly.

She smiles weakly. "You have to go on tour next week for a year," she whispers.

My jaw drops. "Wha--"
