Two Queens in a King-Sized Bed

Tori was tossing and turning. She's trying to get some rest but can't. She's nervous about what happens next with Jade. Tori assumes that whatever chance of a friendship she had with Jade was down the drain. Jade told Tori not to tell anyone and Tori had no intention to do so.  She was hoping Jade didn't tell you, anyone. Tori was a lesbian and hadn't told anyone yet besides her parents and sister. Her parents were supportive and promised not to tell anybody. Trina was also supportive about it and despite having a big mouth, kept Tori's secret. She told Tori she would never out her, and if anyone ever did then that was just straight up wrong. Trina claimed that would be low even for her and if anyone ever outed her little sister there'd be hell to pay.

Tori kept thinking about it. Jade couldn't expose what happened without exposing herself in the process so Tori figured she was safe, at least for the time being. She was worried Jade would twist the story and make herself sound like a victim. That made Tori even more nervous. She wouldn't put that past, Jade.

Jade was having similar problems to Tori. She couldn't sleep. She kissed her enemy. She guessed Tori really wasn't her enemy anyways. They'd gotten along better recently. One could even say they were almost friends. Jade would never tell Tori that. She'd figured Tori would become insufferable if she knew Jade didn't actually hate her. Jade knew it was stupid, Tori had to know that Jade didn't actually hate her.

After trying to sleep, Jade decided she couldn't and went for a drive. She wanted to clear her head and move past it tonight. The plan was to drive around to nowhere just listening to music. She doesn't know how or why she ends up at Tori's house again but she does.

Vega: Yeah why?

Open your window

Tori opened her window as instructed and was surprised that Jade climbed in her window.

"Hey," Jade said softly looking around Tori's room. It was very bright and neat, the opposite of Jade's room.

"Hey?" Tori said wondering why Jade just climbed through her window at 3 a.m.

"I couldn't sleep," Jade told her. "I've been thinking about you. I liked kissing you and I would like to do it again sometime."

"Okay," Tori said. "I'd also like to do it again sometime."

"That's great," Jade said a small smile on her face. "I do want to go over some rules first."

"Rules?" Tori questioned.

"Yeah I feel like rules are needed," Jade told her. "I wrote these before I came here just in case you said yes."

"Okay," Tori told her. "I can handle these."

"That's good," Jade says with a smile. "So, can I kiss you?"

Tori doesn't respond, instead, she just kisses Jade wrapping her arms around Jade's neck. Jade kissed the tan girl back and wrapped her arms around Tori's waist. Jade gently nibbled Tori's bottom lip. Tori granted access to Jade and Jade's tongue explored the other girl's mouth.

Making out with Tori was not like making out with anyone else. It was gentle. Jade loved kissing her it was different in the best way possible. Jade ran her hands under Tori's shirt and then pulled the garment off. She broke apart the kiss and laughed at Tori's bra.

"You're such a dork," Jade teased her. "You wear bras to sleep?"

Tori blushed. She was wearing a Disney bra. It was one of her favorites.

"I wasn't expecting anyone to take off my shirt," Tori told her. "Plus I didn't even realize I kept it on."

"Do you want to continue?" Jade asked her.

"Yes," Tori told her. "But I don't want to go any further than this."

Jade nodded before removing her own shirt. It was only fair that both of them would be shirtless. Jade and Tori continued to make out before Tori let out a yawn.

"You need to go to bed Tori," Jade told her. Tori held back a small smile. The way Jade called her Tori and not Vega made Tori's stomach do flips.  "Do you mind if I sleep over? It's 4 am and I don't feel like driving home."

"Yeah you can sleep over," Tori said. She tossed the goth girl one of her shirts. She made a point to pick the pinkest shirt she had. It was a shirt that was hot pink and featured the PowerPuff girls. It was one of Tori's favorite shirts to sleep in. Jade rolled her eyes but put the shirt on anyways.

"Goodnight Tori," Jade said climbing into Tori's bed next to the other girl.

"Goodnight Jade," Tori replied before she fell asleep.

The next day Tori wakes up. She smiles softly when she realizes Jade is holding onto her like a teddy bear. Tori looks over at her bedside clock and sees that it's already 1 PM. Tori tries to get out of Jade's arms without waking up the other girl. She fails though and Jade wakes up.

"Sorry for waking you," Tori apologizes softly. She knows how Jade can get especially before she's had her coffee. To her surprise, Jade isn't a terror.

"Good morning Vega," She said a soft smile on her face. "How is it already 1?"

"Well we did have a late night," Tori asked. "Do you want anything to eat or anything?"

"Uh is anyone home?" Jade asks. She doesn't want anyone to find out about this and that included Tori's family. She knew Trina was a blabbermouth and didn't want her to know and spread it around the school.

"I know my dad is at work, I think my mom is with his coworker Gary, don't ask," Tori said adding the last part when Jade raised an eyebrow at her mom hanging out with her dad's coworker. "I'll text Trina to see if she's home."

How's my favorite sister doing on this fine afternoon?

Trina: What did you do?

Nothing. I just have someone over... From last night. I just want to know if you're home

Trina: Gross. No, I'm not. Neither is mom or dad if you were wondering. Your booty call can leave peacefully

"Alright Trina isn't home," Tori said. "So it's just you and me."

Jade sighed in relief, she was happy no one was there.

Jade soon found out Tori was an excellent cook. Jade was practically moaning at the food Tori prepared. It was one of the best things she's ever eaten.

"I'm guessing you like my French Toast," Tori said with a small smile as she watched Jade practically inhale the food.

"It's amazing," Jade said and Tori was surprised. She expected some half compliment like it's not awful. She expected something similar to the things she said in Nozu. Jade had danced around saying Tori's singing was good and that she found Tori pretty. "Why haven't you cooked for me before?"

"Well we don't exactly see eye to eye," Tori said. It was silent for a moment. Neither one knew what to say. Part of Jade felt bad. She was awful to Tori sometimes and Tori didn't deserve it. It was Jade's own insecurities that made her lash out at Tori. She'd never admit that to Tori though.

"I should go," Jade said after she finished eating. "You know before someone comes and sees me." Tori just silently nodded before letting Jade out.

Once Jade left, Tori started cleaning up to get rid of all the evidence. She didn't need her parents to know that she had someone sleep over. She knew Trina vaguely knew what happened but she trusted that the girl wouldn't tell her parents. Trina did owe Tori since Tori kept her mouth shut about Trina's midnight visitor about a month ago. Tori was also hoping Trina wouldn't ask any questions about who was over.

"Where have you been?" Josh, Jade's 15-year-old brother asked when Jade walked in.

"Out," Jade replied. "Why do you care?"

"I don't," He told her. "But dad came by earlier and asked."

"Thank god I wasn't here," Jade said. Her relationship with her dad was awful. She was bitter about her parents' divorce but her dad made it worse because he didn't approve of the reason she broke up with Beck. He wasn't supposed to know but he had overheard a conversation Jade and Beck had. Jade's dad then told her mom so both her parents knew she was a lesbian. Her mom, though not really present in her daughter's life approved which Jade did appreciate it. Her dad on the other hand had some colorful and hateful words to say. It had hurt her a lot. It has ended every chance of her fixing her relationship with her dad. Josh ended up finding out when he heard his sister and dad fighting. Like his mom, he didn't care and was happy for Jade since she figured out who she was.

"Sorry to burst your bubble but he mentioned something about possibly coming back later,"  Josh admitted. Jade groaned she didn't want to deal with him. Why couldn't her dad be one of those dads who just disappear after a divorce? It would make Jade's life way better. "By the way nice shirt. I didn't think you were a PowerPuff girls fan."

"Oh yeah I'm a huge fan," Jade replied. She forgot she still had Tori's shirt which meant Tori still had hers. She's just glad only her brother saw her in that shirt. If anyone else saw then her secret would have been exposed. Jade excused herself to change into something more her style.

"So Tori are you going to tell me about your hookup," Trina asked with a smirk. She had returned home and was ready to harass her little sister. She couldn't believe Tori had the guts to bring someone over without their parents knowing. Trina will admit that she's impressed that no one heard anything.

"Oh it was just a girl from a party," Tori said blushing slightly. "Plus it wasn't really a hookup. We just kissed."

"Just a girl?" Trina questioned. "You could say it was Jade." Tori's mouth dropped. She was shocked that Trina knew.

"What? No. Why would you say that," Tori responded.

"Tori you're a terrible liar and I know because she left her shirt in the bathroom," Trina said with a smirk. Tori's face fell.

"It could be anyone's shirt," Tori argued. She couldn't believe she stupidly left Jade's shirt in the bathroom. When she was cleaning up and found the shirt she threw it in the bathroom to throw it in the hamper but forgot to do the hamper part.

"Yeah whatever," Trina said. "Are you guys like a thing?"

"No," Tori admitted. "It's just kissing. You can't tell anyone that you know not even Jade."

"Tori, remember what I said about outing you?" Trina questioned. Tori nodded in response. "This would count as outing you and I would never do that. I would be the worst sister ever."

"Thanks, Trina," Tori said giving her sister a hug. She really appreciated having Trina as a sister sometimes. Despite all of Trina's flaws, she wasn't a bad sister. She actually looked out for Tori a lot and Tori really appreciated it. It made all the other nonsense Trina did easy to ignore.

"No problem," Trina said. "Mom and dad don't know you had someone over last night. It would be a shame if they found out."

"How much do you want?" Tori said sighing. She was used to paying Trina to keep the information quiet. She knew she wouldn't tell her parents who was over but she would let it slip that Tori had a late-night visitor.

"$50," Trina said. Tori rolled her eyes before reaching into her wallet and grabbing the money. She handed the money to Trina who counted it to make sure it was the right price.
