"hurry up! i don't want wonnie to lecture me about being late again," sunoo grunted, eyeing daniel who is walking behind him.

"but i'm sleepy," daniel yawned.

sunoo just sighed and grabbed daniel's wrist, dragging him towards their building.

they're almost near the laboratory when daniel spotted three familiar figures standing outside the room. he scowled. why are they here?

sunoo, on the other hand, is busy with his phone so he did not see (nor feel) the two pair of eyes looking at him. sunoo is about to step inside the lab when two people called his name at the same time.

"sunoo!"

"kim sunoo!"

ni-ki and sunghoon both shouted at the same time, while sunoo finally noticed the two of them.

"oh hello guys! what are you doing here?" sunoo smiled at them. when he tried to look inside the room, he saw jake and geonu peeping through the blinds.

"hi sunoo! is jungwon there?" jay asked, looking hopeful.

"uh.." he looked inside and spotted jungwon hiding under the table, gesturing him to say no to the guy while making an x mark with his arms.

"he's, um... unavailable as of the moment. i think he went to the faculty room," sunoo replied. the things he do for his friend.

"oh, that's too bad. can you tell him to reply to my messages?"

jungwon you heartless shit. "sure! i'll tell him when he gets here. is that all?" jay nodded at him.

how could jungwon ignore this guy? he's cute though.

ni-ki coughed, trying to get the attention of sunoo. sunghoon is standing beside jay, eyes also on him, while daniel is just leaning beside the door—watching the scene in front of him.

sunoo feels the stare of nishimura so he just looked at sunghoon. "do you need something, hoon?"

"ah, no. i just wanted to give you this," sunghoon opened his bag and took out a box of chocolates. he handed it to him.

"but it's not my birthday yet, what's this for?" sunoo accepted the box.

sunghoon just smiled and tapped his head. "nothing, i just remember that you like sweets so i got you some chocolates. i'll go now, see you!" the guy started to walk away, while jay is tailing behind him.

"bye sunoo!" sunoo smiled and waved back when he saw jay waving at him.

"are you just gonna ignore me here?"

sunoo sighed and faced ni-ki. "do you need something too?"

ni-ki just scoffed, ignoring the death glare coming from the tall guy (i think his name's danny? whatever).

he grabbed sunoo's other hand and put an umbrella on his open palm.

"just wanna give you this because i know you didn't bring one. stupid," ni-ki flicked sunoo's forehead and before sunoo could even react, the guy already ran away from him.

"who are you calling stupid?! i'm an honor student!" he yelled at ni-ki, who just stuck his tongue out in return.

he stared at the black umbrella and the box that's on his hands. now what?

"are you done entertaining your suitors? we still have a class," he pouted as he faced daniel.

"psh, they're not my suitors. let's just go inside."
