Chapter 26

In the blink of an eye, they were away from the main villain area.

Keira looked up at All might. "Head to the entrance! I will leave Aizawa with you. He's unconscious, so hurry!"

She couldn't move. He looked furious, more furious than she ever saw him. And yet, she wanted to run and hide behind him.

Everything was happening so fast, everything was scary.

"It's been a while.. All might."

Her head snapped to the voice, her heart beating loudly. Tenko.. her eyes were glassy with tears as she held them back. Shigaraki crouched down reaching for the hand that fell. "it's good you hit the hand. You can see my face better." He grinned, "do you remember me... All might?"

She heard his sharp breath, "..young tenko?"

"Ah, yes. My old name.." he chuckled, "I go by something else now... Shigaraki Tomura."

"What do you think, All might?" He raised his hands, "I have been reborn. Stronger than before. It took me a while but I realized it-"

All might looked like somebody had broke him. His smile was nowhere.

"-it's all because of you heroes. You act like you want to help everybody. But then when it matters, you're nowhere to be found." he sneered with his next words "Not even to the people that matter the most to you."

Her throat was dry, she took a step forward. If I could just reach him, she blinked the tears away. A shaky breath went out, Keira glanced around before her blood ran cold. Behind shigraki was Kurogiri and the nomu. She slapped her hand to her mouth to prevent the nausea that went out at the sight of the nomu. Seeing it in the anime was something but seeing it in real life made her want to throw up. Its brain was out in the open and it looked horrifying.

"What do you think All might? Do you like my new name?" He grinned manically stretching his arms wide. "This is for all the people you ditched and betrayed!"

"Young Tenko.. why.." Darkness materialized behind All might and in an instant the Nomu was attacking All might, but All might stopped him holding both its wrists. He struggled before the nomu gave him a hit in the stomach making him fly. The creature turned to them attacking in a second. Keira's stomach lurched, I'm dead. All might blocked it before starting to exchange blows with it.

Keira heard some of the students gasp, felt the fear charging the room as they realized that something was wrong with All might. She was aware of everything and yet, everything felt.. like she was underwater.. like she was drowning. She took another step forward before shakily raising her hand. How far was he?

slowly, breathe.. she told herself focusing. She felt the glitch happen before she was in the air landing on him. It was too fast for anybody to do anything.. which was fine for her. She didn't care at this point.

Tenko!

Their eyes locked together and she saw slight surprise before his face screwed into an ugly sneer as he reached towards her with his hand.

"Get back!" All might shouted but it was too late.

The moment she touched his arm and he touched her face, they both glitched disappearing.

Shigaraki looked around before realizing they were no longer in the USJ. He glanced around. She had teleported them outside of the building. The woman's face was still cupped by his hand. Then he realized something, "my quirk is not killing you.." he jumped back before his hands went to his neck scratching. "Why can't my quirk ki-?"

His eyes widened at the woman who was emerging through the glitching. Her blonde hair darkened to black, her features changed to an older woman and grey eyes he never thought he would see alive again.

He froze. "Nee-"

Her body collided with him, arms gripping very tightly. Moving both of them out of there had taken a toll on her body and yet she held on tight. She hoped that when she stepped back from that hug, she would see Tencchan and it would all be a nightmare. The little kid that she lived with and loved would be there.

"..I'm sorry. Im sorry. Im sorry.. Tencchan" she held tighter and Shigaraki felt emotions he didnt know were still there surface. He also gripped tighter, the hand on his face from his master felt heavy. Nauseating. What should he do?

He glanced down at her, he was taller than her now. He was bigger than her.

Hands slowly went to her back returning the hug. Big hands, bigger than a kid's. Tears streamed down her face, she opened her mouth to say anything but all he could hear was broken sobs.

Tenko tightened his grip, her warmth was still the same.

"Nee-san.. "

***A student had disappeared with the villain. It had all happened within seconds. All might didn't have time to react before the nomu attacked again. He blocked the attack, feet skidding back in the ground. His time was running out. "Young one!"

"Shigaraki Tomura has disappeared." Kurogiri's mist swirls violently before he suddenly flashes from one place to another around the USJ. Meanwhile the Nomu is still following the last order, kill All Might.

She stepped back from the hug still holding his arms. Her hands trembled as she took off the hand attached to his face. His eyes were silent weighing everything. She could feel the hands around her and his hesitation. "You're.. not her, you can't be."

His hand cupped her face again making her flinch slightly but she looked him square in the eyes, regret filling her. He landed finger by finger on her head. Ba-thump, Ba-thump.

What was that? Her heartbeat? It's so loud. "Tenccha-"

"That's not my name." He stepped back, "My quirk doesn't destroy you and you look just like her." He still had his hand on her face but his arm outstretched. His eyes narrowed disbelief written on them "..Nee-san."

He lowered his hand but she grasped it. "Tenko, I am-"

She choked her hands scrambling to the hand around her neck, "Don't call me that! That's not my name anymore. The dead don't come back anymore.." He tightened his hand, his eyes narrowing with malice and hurt, "..no matter how much you wish it. Now turn back to your other appearance, the blonde one. It's a nice quirk you have. Too bad I wasn't fooled."

She pushed against his hand tears falling as she gasped for air. The face she was wearing made him hesitate for a split second, the face of the person who was dearest to him. A face he thought would never exist again. "Tenccha-"

"Turn back!" He shouted.

She could barely breathe. Her ears were ringing, he was going to kill her. She changed her appearance back. His hand loosened a bit and she gasped pushing weakly against it. Black spots were already creeping at the edges of her vision. Black mist materialized around them before they were back in the USJ.

"Shigaraki Tomura, I found you. Should I dispose of her?"

"Young one!" All might roared reaching out but the Nomu intercepted him. The symbol of peace had a different fire in his eyes, no student will get hurt, he smashed the Nomu flinging it far but it wasn't enough. He couldn't reach her before the nomu was back attacking him and clinging to him.

"Kurogiri, do your part." Shigaraki said quietly looking at All might with disdain before glancing at the now almost unconscious blonde girl.

Mist snaked out from Kurogiri, wrapping around All Might's limbs in a flash. Half of All might was in one side and the rest was engulfed by kurogiri. The nomu pressed on the wound making the hero grunt in pain. At this point, it was a matter of time before All might had to turn back.

"Look at this, you little imposter." His hand was holding her by the back of the neck turning her to look at All might. "Violence from heroes is a good act, while our violence is categorized as villains. Anybody who goes out of that nice little framework of good nice quirk gets labelled as villain."

She could barely see in front of her. Keira was at her limit. Her tears still went down freely, but she still had to tell him, she still had to try

Nee-san, Keira-nee.

".. it was.. all for one's.. plan.." He froze, his eyes wide, before his free hand started scratching his neck. "..I'm..alive. Please, Tencchan"

He scratched his neck more. more. more. shut up shut up shut up "SHUT U-"

Ice blasted towards him flinging him back. Kirishima immediately went to to Keira through the opportunity from Todoroki's attack and carried her on his back going towards Midoriya and the others and putting her down. He turned at the blasting sound, "I got you now, you mist freak!"

Bakugo was pinning Kurogiri by the metal part making All might go free while todoroki froze the nomu. "You didn't think I wouldn't notice, hah?! It was at that time." Bakugo pushed him down more, "when you said that was close. You wouldn't have said that if your whole body was made of mist or immune to physical attacks!"

"Young Bakugo. Everybody get to safety." All might stood up, he could already feel time slipping until he changed back. He needed to hold the villains until support came. He glanced at Shigaraki sorrow seeping through him and then his eyes went to the student. He glanced at her, she was unconscious, her blonde hair splayed around her as midoriya supported her. Thank goodness she's safe. He turned to the students, "Get to safety, everybody!"

"If it weren't for us you would have been done All might." Todoroki said stepping forward.

"Yes and I thank you but now you need to get to safety." All might grinned.

"But All might, your injur-" the hero cut off midoriya with a thumbs up.

"Young Midoriya, it's okay" the hero grinned

"You think this is it All might?" All might turned to Shigaraki. The nomu which had been immobilized by Todoroki's ice broke out and regenerated its arm. "Regeneration and shock absorption, this nomu is the ultimate anti-symbol of peace. It's designed to withstand you at 100% .Nomu, finish him."

The nomu went for Bakugo who froze at the creature hurling towards him. At the last second All might was standing instead and Bakugo on the side with wide eyes.

"100% you say?" All might grinned before standing his ground "Then I'll just have to go beyond that!"

Wind blew and the energy shifted, the symbol of peace was at his full momentum. He exchanged blows with the nomu blowing it back. Shigaraki stumbled up gritting his teeth. His plan was falling apart. His mind was falling apart. scratch scratch scratch. his eyes darted, where is she? Where is she? where is she?!

Blue eyes locked with red. She was looking at him despite looking completely worn out. She just stared at him and he could feel his mind breaking slowly.

it was.. all for one's.. plan..

I'm..alive

The nomu was flung out the USJ as the students watched in awe the number one hero. Panting, standing on his feet, he was truly the symbol of peace and absolute power.

Shigaraki scratched his neck more, "cheaters. Imposters and cheaters! You cheated! Kurogiri!"

"We should retreat Shigaraki Tomura."

"Take us back" He locked eyes with the girl his hand going to his neck, "and her."

In a second his body was coming out of the portal reaching out for Keira. A gunshot rang shooting his hand.

"Everybody, sorry we're late! I brought everybody who could come." A voice rang as heroes popped out everywhere.

"Iida Tenya! UA Hero class representative, I have returned!"

Shigaraki recoiled, his teeth gritted before slowly being engulfed in mist. "Next time, All might"

All might couldn't move anymore, his time had run out. One movement and he would revert back in front of everybody. "Young Tenko." his voice shook. Now with the children safe and the heroes here, his brain had time to process that this.. was his master's grandchild.

He had failed.
