Chapter 27: Japanese, Teacher, Dancer, & Photographer?
09:21, 22 December 2015×Elise's POV×
"Wait wait wait, so you used to do dance, do photography, and learned Japanese but your parents thought it would be more appropriate to teach?"
I nod my head and bite the inside of my lips. "Yup." For about an hour, the whole group and I had sat down in the living room just to talk about our past. When a question about me came up, a dozen more soon bubbled from their minds and bursts out from their lips.
"But why didn't you keep dancing?"
Jiyong leans back in his chair, his hand placed on his chin while his elbow rested on the bar beside him. I shrug my shoulders and look at Daesung who raises his hand to ask another question. "How come we don't see you dance now?"
I stare at his dark brown eyes in search for an answer. My mouth opens to speak but I quickly shut it as I realise that my response still hasn't come to me yet. "I'm not sure."
"Tell me this," I hear someone say from my side. "How did you end up doing all four so well?"
I stand up from my seat, kissing Seung Hyun on the cheek before walking to the door with Jiyong's keys in hand. "Just like you all became idols. Lots of practice, and I have a very obnoxious wealthy family."
"Where are you going?"
I slip on some sandals and turn the knob to one side, keeping the door closed so the cold air wouldn't sneak in. "To the store, we need more food for tomorrow."
"Shit!" Jiyong curses loud enough for us all to hear. I stare at him as confused as ever. The others give him odd looks as if they didn't understand why he'd swore either. "I forgot we had a concert this week."
"You forgot the schedule, I can't believe you forgot about a concert Hyung! How can you forget, it's not even possible to forget!" Seungri shoots up from the couch, clearly over reacting.
Now's my chance. I quickly open the door before heading down the stairs into the parking lot. One in a fight with Seungri about a schedule, you're never out.
My hand reaches out for the car's freezing door handle before I quickly jump in, turning the heater on immediately. "Damn. Its so cold." I put my hand up to the flowing wake of hot air before settling in and adjusting the seat and mirrors.
Here I go, off to buy about half the store just for five boys and one girl.
Those boys eat like pigs.

I sigh, grabbing the milk before dripping in the cart which was already filled with other ingredients and yummy junk food. "Aish, why so boys eat so much."
I lead the cart farther down the dairy isle, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear as I near the busy cash register.
Grumbling at the sight of so many customers, I rest my chin on my hand that was leaned up against my already-full shopping cart.
About 8 minutes pass until I can finally go up and place my groceries towards the register. I stare up at the little screen as it flashed little green numbers at me. Finally when it stops I open my wallet and pull out a card. These boys are killing me.
×Taeyang's POV×
"I think she should be a YG dancer."
I hear Jiyong choke on his coffee before slamming it down on the table. "A what?"
"That's too cliche," Seung Hyun adds in as he walks away from the kitchen with cookie crumbs sprinkled around his lips. He licks them off before leaning on my arm rest and staring at me. "It's like in movies, when the band member dates a girl who's part of the back up dancers."
I stare down at my knuckles, playing with one of the thick golden rings my ex had given me. "She's been a dancer before, plus she can't find a job. Dancing was her first dream."
Daesung glances up from his half-read manga to look at me. "She's already played the part of our photographer, Do you really think she'll want to become our backup dancer?"
Just then, Elise hopes through the door, her arms covered in plastic bags. I stand up and rush over to her side to help. "Here I'll take these," I slide the bags off of her arms and on to the counter top. "Thanks," she smiles and wipes her hands on her pants. I place a jug of milk in the fridge then turn to face her, only to realise that I was shirtless, and if I didn't put on on Seung Hyun would scold me to. "Ahh, I'll be right back."
I run to my room, pulling a t shirt over my head before going back to help her. "It's okay, I got it."
I ignore her and grab a bag out of her hands. "Yah, I said I got it!" I quickly pull out a box of pancake mix from on of the bags before I shoving it inside it's assigned cabinet. I give her a wide, gummy smile. "I didn't need your help," she closes the fridge and faces me. "But thanks."
I lean back on the counter and glance at Seung Hyun before facing her and inhaling.
"So uh, Elise...how would you feel of we asked you to be a YG dancer?"
Without hesitation she chuckles and says no. "Why not?" I grab her arm and cling on to her. "You used to dance, plus you'll get more time with Seung Hyun."
She closes her eyes and exhales. "That's exactly it. I don't want it to be a cliche love story where I work at the same place my boyfriend does, who coincidentally is a band member." She glances at Seung Hyun then places her hands on the counter, staring at them while playing with her fingers.
I sigh and stare at the floor. What can I do to make her say yes? My eyes dart across the room in search for ideas. I stare at the muted television, dancers competing for by using various dance techniques. The dancers spinning and twirling across the stage send a wide smile to swirl upon my lips.
"I have an idea."
"Hmm?"
I grab her shoulder and turn her around. "Me. You. Dance competition."
She laughs and looks away. "You've already won."
I smile and poke her cheek for her to face me. "Just listen, you win, you don't have to join, I win, you're in no matter what."
I bite my bottom lip as I await for her to answer. Her crossed arms and anticipated look gave me no hint of whether her answer would say yes or not. "Fine."
I grin and lick my lips. It's on.
"Ladies first." I flick my wrist towards the living room, which she quickly follows without hesitation. "Hyung, you have to win." Seungri whispers as I pass his seat. "Go Elise!" Seung Hyun chants, his fist up in the air. I shoot him a sharp glare. "I mean uh, YoungBae, woo."
I chuckle and shove my hands into the pockets of my sweat pants, "Where's the music."
Instinctively Seung Hyun begins beat boxing, Jiyong adding some after him. Her head begins to bob, eyes pasted on the floor. "Yah! Hyung, she looks so concentrated, good luck." Daesung jokes with a smile. I chuckle and watch her as she begins to move.
At first her foot began to tap, sending waves to flow through her body and to her arms like liquid had taken her form. I bob my head to the beat, staring at her quick sharp turns and adrenaline pumping dance moves.
I turn my head to the side, watching her carefully. She turns and places her fists on her hips, shaking both her shoulders and waist in the same way I do. The others howl in realization.
"She's doing the little dance you always do!"
Seung Hyun laughs and claps proudly,"That's my bingu."
I inhale and watch her through narrowed eyes. Her chest pops and her feet change in various positions before she suddenly jumps closer, sliding towards me and whipping her hair in my face as a finish.
I look up at her slightly red face, smiling at the sight of her nervousness.
Her chest rises and falls heavily, a sign of hard work and excitement. "Good job."
She nods a 'thank you' before she catches a water bottle tossed towards her.
"Music." I yell before once again the competition begins.

"YoungBae won."
"No, Elise won!"
I glance at the Jiyong who stood by my side with Daesung pressed against his face. "Elise. Won."
"YoungBae did." Jiyong calmly says as he nudges Daesung away next to Seung Hyun.
Elise groans and pulls Daesung to her side. "Stop that, he clearly won." Daesung glares up at me, "Fine, but I respect your decision if you decide to stay or not."
I smirk and glance around at the boys before stepping up to her and adjusting my hat before speaking. "So Elise, what do you say, you have no choice but to give your response."
She looks at the floor, her black high tops tracing one of the tiles on the floor. "Yes or no?"
Her eyes filled with worry and regret as she slowly opens her mouth to speak.
"I say..."

HAH CLIFF HANGER
I think she should say no because her goal was to become a teacher, but then again her dream was to become a dancer SO YOU KNOW IDK IS SHE GONNA BECOME A DANCER OR TEACHER OR MAYBE BOTH
