21:04, 29 January 2020Third Person's POV
❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌
Valarie's mouth hanged open as she read her own sexual fantasies. She bite down on her lip, wondering how it would feel, but from things she have read, or watch from movies, it must have felt... exciting and of course, arousing. How it would feel to be in the arms of the person you love, being caressed and kissed by him, as you both experience a sexual activity together. Well, the mere thought of dating, seems exciting to Valarie. A virgin is a virgin after all. Having no experience, excites her to know more. She took her tea and slowly sip it as it was still hot. She then decided to pull her head out of the clouds and closed the book shut. She left her room and went to the living room.
"Papa" She greeted, giving him a smile.
"Val, I am going to head out for a while" He said. Her face fell at that.
"But... he's coming for dinner" She said, as she felt nervous being with Hyungwon alone in the house. If there was servants, she would still be fine, but after the bankruptcy, of course they had to be let go.
"I'm so sorry, Val. This is really important and urgent. Can I trust you to keep our guest entertained?" He asked, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Uh... Papa" She gripped his hand.
"Should I cancel the dinner? Can we cancel it?" She asked.
"But-! What time will you be coming home?"
"Tomorrow"
"What?!"
"I'm sorry, Val. The location I'm meeting my client is not here. It's a four hour drive and I'll be spending the night at one of our properties" Her eyes widened even more at that. She'll be alone?! She has never been alone at night before!! No! This can't be happening! The thought scared her.
"Besides, treat it as a date, since I'm not here" Her father winked.
"Papa..." Her voice was stuck in her throat.
"I'm taking my leave first. Enjoy your date, sweetheart. And give my apologies to him" He kissed the top of her head and rushed out of the house, clearly in a hurry. She look at the closed door, stunned. What the hell?! What is she supposed to do now?
~~~~~~~~~~
"Dinner outside?" He asked her, puzzled. She slowly nodded, softly.
"Why so sudden? Wasn't I invited to eat dinner at your house?" He asked.
"Well, my father isn't home..." She started. He fell silent, knowing there was more for her to say.
"He had an urgent business to attend to. He apologised for the sudden change of plans"
"He would usually do the cooking, I can't cook, so..." He instantly understood the situation, but he can't help but wonder, if this was part of her father's plans to get them closer. Should he play along? He doesn't see the harm in that.
"Well, okay then. We'll go out for dinner then" He said, as he head back towards his car and she mentally sighed in relief. She followed him and she felt stunned as he didn't open the car door for her, like he usually does. She then shake her head, shrugging it off and went to open the car door herself.
"So, where shall we eat?" He asked, she turned to look at him as she finally put on the seatbelt.
"I'm not feeling any restaurant. How about fast food?" She mentally felt like she just got stabbed in the stomach. Fast food? Fast food?! Is he out of his mind?! Not even once in her life has she ever stepped foot at a place like that! Does he not know how unhealthy it is?! It's bad for you! It's not only fattening, it can cause many diseases as well. And the place it's not hygienic at all! But what can she say? Beggars can't be choosers.
"F-fast food?" Hyungwon just wished he could take a picture of her face at the moment. The way she looks shocked, but disgusted and there was slight disbelief as well, with the way she tries to hide it all with a nonchalant face, was gold! He mentally laughed, but he kept a straight face.
"It's good" She gape at that. She look down at her clothes and she felt overdressed. Who wears a lace dress and heels to eat fast food? It's uncommon, whatever it is.
"I'm not feeling fast food" She laughed, nervously.
"Well, I want it" He said, as he started driving. No wonder he only wore casual clothing. She mentally cursed, feeling humiliated and played by him once again. A cheap bar, and now, a fast food restaurant? Great. Just great.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Uh..." She looked down at the burger that was wrapped. The kind of burgers she ate, never had wrappers and they always had salad by the side, with potato chips by the side. Instead, they are wrapped, with french fries, which had no plate. She watched Hyungwon as he open up one side of the wrapper and took a bite out of his burger. It looks really... disgusting. They say, you are what you eat. But for his case, how does he stay healthy? Even though he's a vampire, but still, does not mean his human traits are completely gone, right? Not even sure herself. He is a royal vampire, whereas, she is a common vampire.
"Eat up" She said. She then followed what he did, opening one side of the wrapper and looking down at her burger. Here goes nothing. She took a small bite, slowly chewing. He smirked, watching as her face turned hard as stone, knowing she won't favour this kind of food.
"It's... so good" She stated, making his face fell. What did she say?
"Oh my god. I never knew that fast food could taste so good" She added, his chewing turned slow and he look at her with a questioning look. His plan to make her hate him even more clearly failed.
"Good for you, then" He said, continuing to eat, watching her eat with a blissful look on her face.
~~~~~~~~~~
"What?" He asked. She felt nervous, her hands were sweaty and her pupils were shaking. The thought of being alone in a big house, already scared her to the bones, now to make things worse, it started to pour and she could hear the thunderstorms.
"Uhm... don't you want to come in and have a drink?" She asked. He looks at her, confused. What is she planning? Inviting him in for a drink? What could she possibly offer?
"Drink what?" He asked, she mentally cursed, feeling embarrassed to admit that she was actually scared to stay alone in the big house at night. It could actually be scary. When there were servants, it wasn't scary as they would sometimes walk around the halls and you know that there is someone. But now, it's just so quiet and well, the silence and darkness is scary, not adding the heavy rain.
"T-tea? Coffee?" That's basically the only two drinks she knows how to do.
"Coffee? At night?" He asked. Why? Why is he asking her questions as if she's so stupid?
"Well, tea, then" She replied, shrugging slightly.
"Ms. De'Casper, are you not afraid?" He unbuckled his seatbelt, before turning his body to face her.
"Afraid? Of what?" She asked, her heart starting to race at his nonchalant expression.
"Of being alone with a grown man? Aren't you afraid of what he might do?" He asked, leaning slightly closer and closer as he questioned her. She look at him, before she started contemplating. What is more scary? Being alone in a big house, with who knows how many ghosts that lives in it? Or being alone with a grown man, not knowing what he might do? Well, being alone seems more scary, than having someone with you. She was too immersed in her own thoughts, she was snapped out of it, when Hyungwon reached over and unbuckled her seatbelt.
"Goodnight, Ms. De'Casper" He greeted her, before reaching over and opening the door for her. She look at his insincere smile, deciding to finally answer his question.
"I'm not afraid" She said, her voice was a little shaky. He look at her, with an amused glint in his eyes.
"Good for you. Goodnight, then" He said, sounding so sarcastically polite.
"Uh..." She then slowly step out, after seeing his rejection of her invite. She glanced over towards her house, then she flinched as a thunder was heard.
"How about you leave after it stops pouring? It's more safer for you to drive" She suggested, giving him a friendly smile. He decided it was time to stop teasing her, for now. She clearly is scared and well, not wanting to admit it. And not knowing how to tell him to accompany her, she invited him in for a drink instead.
"Fine. A drink won't hurt" He gives in. It's not like he has anything better to do that night. She sigh in relief as he off the car engine and step out.
"Here. Have a seat, while I make you a drink" She said, going towards the kitchen. Hyungwon went to take a seat on the couch, when he noticed something as he sat down. He scoff and he grabbed it, before turning the pages and reading the contents. After a few minutes, she came with the tray of tea and went to set it down on the coffee table, kneeling on the carpeted floor.
"Ms. De'Casper you should really be more careful with where you put this thing you hold so dearly" She look up from pouring the tea and her eyes nearly popped out of its sockets, seeing him holding her precious diary. Her body tensed up, her heart instantly started to race and she look at him with her mouth agape.
"Valarie!" He warned, eyes widening.
"Aahh!!" She screamed, as she flinched from accidentally pouring the hot tea on her hand that was holding the cup and she dropped the teapot and it crashed on the floor. Thank god it was carpeted or else it would've crash into a million pieces. But for now, the pain was too much that she started to cry. He instantly grabbed her hand and led her to the kitchen, before he placed her hand under the running water.
"Is there any flour?" He asked, glancing around the kitchen.
"In the shelf! In a plastic container!" She said, as she watched him navigate himself throughout the kitchen.
"Here" He grabbed her hand and dried them up with a napkin, before patting the flour on her hand. She winced slightly, but the flour instantly relieved the burning sensation. Well, as a vampire, her immune system was at least three times better than a human's average immune system, so it was healing fast, but whatever it is, it still hurts. She was surprised when Hyungwon hold her hand in place and she watched as a glow emitted from his hand and she felt a cooling sensation on the burn.
"What is that?" She asked, wanting to pull away her hand from his grip, but he gripped harder, glaring at her slightly.
"Sit still" He said, slightly. She watched him as he inspected her hand, before putting his hand over her once again. She blushed, having never felt this way with a man before. I mean, it's not everyday, or ever that a man does this for her, except for her father, of course.
"Thank you" She said, he look up at her, she instantly blushed at their close proximity.
"You're welcome" He said, just realising how close the distance was with her.
Their fronts were mere inches away from each other and his face hovered above hers. The dim lighting of the kitchen wasn't helping at the moment. His eyes darted down to her lips and he can't help but think. This was the only girl with lips that he actually found beautiful and addicting. Her eyes darted down to his lips as well, before he leans closer and closer. She flinched as she heard a loud thunderstorm go off, waking them from their moment.
"Oh, god" She muttered under her breath, as suddenly the lights went off. She mentally cursed and hated mother nature for ruining the moment. She really wanted that kiss, she watched as he pull away, before clearing his throat.
"Uhm... I should get started with cleaning... yeah..." She stammered, walking away and grabbing napkins and washcloth, before heading towards the living room. She dabbed the wet spot on the carpet, after picking up the teapot, that was thankfully still intact. He helped her a little, lifting up the tray and carrying it towards the kitchen.
"How embarrassing" She muttered to herself, as she went towards the kitchen to clean up. He then went to the living room, before grabbing her diary, turning the pages. He really loves her use of words and how it sounded interesting as he read it. Like any other adult content books, it sometimes get boring as he read them, but this was interesting. He didn't mind that the light was out and it was dark, he could still make out the words from her pretty handwriting.
"Mr. Chae, please" She wanted to grab the book from his hand, but he quickly pulled it back and she wrestle with him to grab the diary, but to no avail, his arms were way longer than hers.
"Mr. Chae, stop!" She raised her voice a little higher and she glared at him, meeting his narrowed eyes.
"What are you trying to hide?" He asked. She look down at him, wanting to answer, when she froze and look down at their position. Absentmindedly, she had climbed on top of him, her knees on either side of him. She went to move away, wanting to grab the diary, but he pulled it back once again.
"You didn't answer my question!" He pointed a finger at her, as she went to move away and stand in front of him that was seating.
"I'm not trying to hide-!" She cut herself off, not knowing what to answer.
"That's my book. You shouldn't go through other people's things"
"Well, if you leave it around, someone's gonna see it. Is it my fault that you left it here?"
"Just don't read it!" She blushed in embarrassment,
"There's nothing for you to hide" He said, making her look at him in disbelief.
"If you already know what's in there, why do you have to go through it again?" She asked. He then got to his feet, making her stumble back, as they were too close. Her neck strained as she look up at him, that was how small she was, compared to him, her height ending at his chest.
"I really love how you play with your words in here" He stated.
"Is this what fills your head at every moment?" He asked, passing her back the book.
"N-no" She stuttered, grabbing the book and placing it aside.
"Really?" He asked, making her blush. Doesn't mean when she is sexually frustrated, she would be thinking of something sexual all the time.
"Yes" She replied, taking a step back as he took a step forward. He started to slowly smirk as he realised something, as he stepped closer and closer towards her, who followed his movements and taking steps back.
"The both of us are alone in this house..." He started, she could clearly see that they were alone together. What was he getting at?
"The atmosphere is dark and slightly cold" He continued, then he fall silent, as the only sound heard was the sounds of raindrops hitting the window.
"Doesn't this seems familiar?" He asked, she thought for a moment. Familiar? Familiar? She instantly tensed up when she remembered something.
"I wrote..." Her words trailed off. Knowing she already caught on, he instantly took a big step forward and wrapped his arms around her. This scene was familiar as she had wrote a story down in her book, with a similar atmosphere and setting.
"Shall we reenact what you wrote?" He asked, leaning closer and closer. Her heart started racing, as she doesn't know what to think anymore. He remembered what she wrote? Impossible. How can he remember just one out of the many stories she wrote?
"Valarie..." His voice sounded deep and low, as he cupped her face, instantly sending a cooling sensation on her warm cheek.
"I'm ashamed..." Was all she could say. Of course she felt ashamed of herself. Of what she wrote. How can a virgin be so dirty minded like that?
"Don't be. What you wrote... is simply beautiful" He stated, making her heart skipped a beat as she look up to meet his eyes.
"R-really? You think so?" She asked. He only leans closer until their noses were touching, making her breathing hitched and she breathe through her nose.
"I do" He replied, before their lips softly touch, barely touch. She slowly closed her eyes and gripped his shirt, as a signal that she wants it. He instantly closed the distance between them and fully pressed their lips together. She instantly melted into his arms, her lips slowly moving with his. He deepens the kiss by putting his hand behind her head. She felt that this was leading somewhere and she felt nervous.
