Chapter 7 - The Crystal

Wendy's eyes was wide open as she was shocked. No one ever had a date like this. Unique is the term to describe it.

So, Wendy followed Dipper as they walk out of Wendy's house.

"To the woods?" Wendy made sure because it's extraordinary that they were heading on an adventure rather than a date. But she wasn't the kind of girl to complain because adventures are more fun than a stupid same old dates.

"Yeah." Dipper said and then he pulled his journal out of his vest.

Dipper and Wendy sat on a log. Then Dipper flicked through the journal's pages and he then showed Wendy the magical thing that they should be hunting for.

"We're hunting for a magic crystal that can answer any three questions that can be found in a cave in the middle of the forest." Dipper explained pointing the crystal picture on his journal.

"Oh good, we can finally know the secrets of the universe.." Wendy said.

"Find out who's the author of the journal.." Dipper continued Wendy's previous statement.

"Find out why Robbie would ever do such a thing.." Wendy accidently said then she covers her mouth with her hands.

"What did Robbie do?" Dipper asked, frowned at the thought of Robbie doing something bad to Wendy.

"Nothing!" She said quick. She practically shouted at Dipper because she blurted out which made Dipper look at Wendy in confusion.

"So let's go find that crystal!" She quickly changed the topic. She really didn't want to let Dipper find out because if he do, Dipper and Robbie might have a fight again.

Dipper doesn't ask why she was so nervous because he's scared as well. He's scared about this whole mystery date thing so he just assumed that maybe she's still tired or she is quite nervous on the mission.

"The only thing is.." Dipper said in a worried tone.

"What?" Wendy asked hesitantly.

"There are traps on that cave." Dipper said.

"Don't worry. I'll protect you, my lady." He continued and laughed awkwardly again.

No, not again

She giggled. "Oh, so you're my knight in shining armor now aye?" She said raising her voice on the aye part.

"Yes. Yes I am." He said then he laughed.

They walked through the forest while chatting. The journey was fun and like no other. Soon further, they have reached thier destination.

At The Cave

"Here we are." Dipper said.

Dipper led the way and Wendy followed him. She was looking around while walking at the same time. She is very unfamiliar with places. Her dad never lets him go wonder off at far off places. He is too protective of his daughter.

They walked to the cave when suddenly, Wendy walked on a trap on the ground.
