"Woh! That was scary! I can't believe you literally wanted to watch that!"

Eichi didn't smile after what Jino said. She didn't even paid attention to the movie after all so she didn't know how to react. Actually, since the start or their date today, she's not in the mood to smile. Not even a little. Nothing at all. I just wanted this day to end.

She's aware that she being too rude or a bit of an attitude for the boy. Despite of watching a scary movie at the cinema, eating delicious foods at any stall they passed by, trying out cute things from different stores or taking picture... None of them made her happy nor smile a little. Now after remembering all that and how she showed emotions of nothing, she felt guilty.

Jino is a good guy. That's all she can say for now. He's tall and handsome. She already can tell that he's kind, generous and caring when they're just together for a few hours. He's a too good to be true type of boyfriend that everyone wants and she's feeling bad that she can't appreciate him for some specific reasons.

"Yeah. That's scary." that's all Eichi can say. As much as possible, she wanted to go home already. She's not enjoying anything right now.

Jino stopped walking and hold her arm. "Are you alright? It seems like you're not feeling well today. Does the movie scared you?" he looked so worried that even make her more guilty.

Get a hold of yourself, Eichi!

"I'm fine." she responded and finally showed him a smile, though it's a small one. "We should continue and follow the itinerary. Where should we go next?" she asked and slowly pushed away Jino's hand from her arm.

"Apparently, when you left the school, they have this game to finish before the lightning of the lanterns and the prize is having a Sunday date with Yamada-san."

"And according from my source, you were even called on the stage many times just to be the representative of your year. But unfortunately, you're not around and didn't show up so the original representatives from your year remained."

"The third years won the game, though. And the one who got the chance to have a date on her is named as Jino, I heard he's from the baseball club. "

Mitsuya explained to Baji everything after he went back to him. Baji told him everything about Eichi being mad and about the cancelled small date because of it. He even asked him to gather information and that's all the information Mitsuya got from one of his apprentice who stayed till the end of the festival.

Now I get it. I know why she's blaming me from the said date.

Baji clenched his fist. Regretting the thing he did even though he didn't expect something like that would happen. We we're fine since morning so I thought it would be also fine to leave and prepare for the date without saying anything. I promised her that I'll be coming back, though...

After his talk with Mitsuya that night, he left. Feeling bad for himself. Regrets, sadness and jealousy overflows his emotions until he arrived at their home.

He did not get enough sleep. He's thinking about Eichi, how would he ask for an apology, who is this Jino guy  and how would the date would turn out. There are many questions inside his head and he badly want to answer them. But how?

Is there a way that I could stop their date? But what if Eichi actually enjoys it and here I am planning how to destroy it, she will be mad even more at me.

The date day came and Baji still can't stop thinking about Eichi. This is the first time he felt like this. 

Of course, this is also the first time that he truly know that Eichi is totally mad at him. The fear feeling of not being able to fix the problem, that's what he actually feel right now. He's been going back in forth from their house to Eichi's. Hoping that he can talk to her but then, once he's already in front of her house, he's being hesitant. Afraid that Eichi will kicked him out again like the last time. I guess it's better to wait for her to cool down before we can talk.

Early in the morning, he got up from bed and decided to jog a bit to get rid of his worries especially the jealousy he's feeling since then.

"Fuck this." he mumbled. No matter how long he run, he definitely cannot  rid of his worries and jealousy.

He brushed his hair in frustration and decided to finally go again to Eichi's house. This time, he told himself that he definitely should talk to her. No matter how she hates it, he needs to . They need to...

"Kei-san! You're here early!" Saiko-san opened the door for him. She's wearing an apron while carrying Toshiki on her hands.

"Good morning, Saiko-san! Is Eichi senpai there?" he asked politely.

"Eichi? She's gone off somewhere. Why?" she answered and noticed how Baji's mood is different from when he's picking Eichi up. I wonder what happened to them? Did they have an argument? Saiko-san thought.

"Do you perhaps know where she's off to, auntie? I actually need to talk to her over something. I'm getting worried."

"Did you guys fight? I noticed that Eichi has been down since the cultural school festival and I thought that she's just tired or something."

Baji sighed instead of answering. That's my fault.

Eichi's mom already know his answer by just his action. But no matter how bad she wanted to help, she can't interfere in the both of them. Knowing Eichi, she knows her daughter can handle this. And all she can do to help Baji is to tell him where she's off to.

"About where she went, I think I remember her saying she's going to Harajuku." she said.

Harajaku... That's quite near. Maybe I could find them there. I don't care about the Jino guy, all I care is Eichi. Baji thought.

"Thank you, auntie!" after he said that he took his leave and immediately run back home to prepare and change clothes.

Few minutes later he's finally finished. He just wore something he knows he'll looked more handsome than Jino guy. If I look horrible and ugly then what's the point of running after them there? At least I need to look good...though I already am, all the time.

He's wearing a two toned color black and nude jacket, underneath is a brown plain shirt. A black jogger pants as the bottom and a pair of converse sneakers. For his hair, he just tied it in a man bun. Too plain? Nah. I'm handsome to call this plain.

Disregarding all Baji's self appreciation, he headed out with his bike and drive straight to Harajuku.

When he arrived there, irritation came to him. There's too many people around the area. Too crowded and he doesn't know where to begin first. Just let me find and talk to her...

"Do you want to eat some crepes? I think we still have some money from the allowance." Jino said to her while they're walking in a busy street where there are a bunch of food stalls.

They already ate earlier and it's not like she's against of eating again some crepes.

"Yeah sure." She answered." I'll sit there and wait for you. "she told him once she found a bench near the crepe store. She did not wait for his response and walked away. Too tired of walking and forcing herself to enjoy the day but she can't.

While she's waiting for Jino a man suddenly stood in front of her. Eichi raised her head up and surprisingly found Baji. Giving her a soft smile.

Unconsciously, Eichi smiled for the first time today. She's feeling happy that he's here. Finally.

Baji lowered his body and looked at her, holding her hands. Caressing it softly.

"Should we go?" he asked.

She wanted to but Jino is with her. She can't just leave the boy alone when he's totally enjoying the day with her. If she did that, she'll be more guilty as it is.

"What about Jino?" she asked. Baji then rolled his eyes.

"You're suppose to enjoy the date and not feeling forced to. And you're suppose to date me and not some other guy. You should know that already, senpai." he said full of confidence

"And we need talk too....about what happened." his tone became sadder. Eichi looked at him and wanted to pinch his nose but she stopped herself from doing so.

"You're right."

With that said, she didn't hesitate to come with him leaving Jino behind. After all, Baji's right. A date should be enjoyable and not feeling forced to. She can guarantee that having a date with Baji would be enjoyable than with Jino.

Finally, I can enjoy for the last minute of the day...
