Adler: Volkov heads the Russian mob that moved into East Berlin once the wall went up in '61

Lazar: This guy has connections to cartels throughout Europe and the Americas

Adler: Neutralizing him will not only hurt Perseus, but the global syndicate. He's a big fish

Park: And here's our little fish...

(A picture of Franz Kraus is shown)

Park: Franz Kraus. According to MI6, he's one of Volkov's information couriers. He has a drop with Volkov scheduled for tomorrow night

Adler: We'll infiltrate East Berlin via the U-Bahn. A ghost station on the other side of the wall has the access point we need. From there we'll watch Kraus as he enters the city. Once Volkov shows his face it's kill or capture

(Bell, Adler, Lazar, and Park are all on U-Bahn train. Bell glances at his watch)

Park: We just passed under the Wall into East Berlin. Get ready. Adler, the back car is clear. We're good to go

(Adler stamps out his cigarette and moves to the back car of the train while Bell follows. Lazar opens the doors for Adler and Bell and they head to the back car)

Adler: As soon as the train slows down, you and I'll jump off. Park, Lazar, wait till the next station. Bell and I will track down Kraus. Alright, the train's slowing down. Let's go to work. We have a job to do

(Adler and Bell jump off the train and land on the tracks with a roll)

Adler: Careful, East German guards still patrol these abandoned stations

(Adler and Bell ready their suppressed M1911's)

Adler: Patrol ahead. We can use the train to slip past

(Adler moves to the other tunnel to avoid the incoming train. Bell follows him as Stasi guards patrol on the opposite end. Adler and Bell climb onto the platform after the train leaves)

(Bell silenty shoots the guards and drags their bodies out of sight)

Adler: Movement on the platform

(Another patrol enters the station as Adler and Bell approach the exit. One guard stands at the edge of the platform while the other enters through the doorway)

Adler: Let's take em out quietly. Take it slow

(Adler hides behind a pillar as the guard patrols the station with his flashlight. Bell approaches the guard to execute him)

(Bell executes the guard with a neck snap)

Adler: Move up

(A group of guards can be heard talking in the room and one of the guards tells something funny to another guard)

(Bell breaches the door and executes the guards inside. Adler and Bell approach a ladder leading to the surface)

Adler: Come on. This is the way out

(Bell climbs the ladder first as Adler follows behind. Bell climbs out of the manhole and helps Adler up before a Stasi patrol encounters them)

Adler: Shit... Follow my lead

(Adler clears his throat)

Adler: (In German) I work for the railroad. Let me show you my ID

GDR Soldier: (in German) That area is off limits. You're under arrest, get down on the ground!

(Bell grabs Adler's pistol and shoots the first guard as Adler tackles the other and bashes him with his own rifle)

Adler: Nice work. Let's clean this up

(Bell and Adler drag the bodies to a nearby alcove. Bell follows Adler to a doorway down the alley)

Adler: Kraus should be coming through the checkpoint soon. Let's get to the rooftop

(Adler enters the building as Bell follows behind. Adler contacts Park and Lazar)

Adler: Park, Lazar, we're almost in position

Park: Copy that

Adler: Come on. This way

(Bell follows Adler through the doorway onto the rooftop overlooking the Berlin Wall)

Adler: Careful of the spotlight

(Bell follows Adler while avoiding a spotlight from a Stasi watchtower)

Adler: They know how to lock a place down, I'll give 'em that

(Bell and Adler reach an overwatch point above the checkpoint)

Adler: Keep an eye on that checkpoint. Kraus will be coming through any time. Look for Kraus with your camera

(Bell equips the camera)

Adler: Damn... security's even tighter than usual. If they detain Kraus, he could miss his meeting with Volkov

(A man with a briefcase and umbrella appears at the checkpoint, where he is stopped by a Stasi guard)

Adler: Near the checkpoint, man with the briefcase. Is that him?

(Bell zooms in on the man's face and take a picture of him, identifying him as Kraus)

Adler: Good job. That's our man - that's Kraus

(The Stasi guard lets Kraus pass through the checkpoint)

Adler: On me

(Bell follows Adler off the rooftop and down a staircase. Adler contacts Park once again)

Adler: Park, Kraus just crossed the Wall. What's your status?

Park: Lazar and I are at the exfil point awaiting your arrival

Adler: Roger that

(Bell follows Adler out the door and into an alleyway)

Adler: Our intel says Kraus and Volkov will meet at the bar across the street. Meet Hudson's contact inside. She'll have a blue umbrella. I'll stay out here and watch the street

(Bell walks into the bar across from the alleyway and starts walking towards the back. Bell finds the CIA contact at a table with a blue umbrella hanging from a chair)

Greta: (in German) My friend! I'm so happy you made it! (in English) Kraus is at the table over my right shoulder

(Bell pulls out a listening device disguised as a cigarette case and activates it. Bell and Greta listen in on Kraus)

Waitress: (in German) Good evening, sir. What can I get you?

Kraus: (in German) I'll have a Berliner Weisse, please

Adler: Audio is loud and clear. Now we wait for Volkov

Greta: Hudson didn't reveal much. He said you're after Volkov?

Bell: Yes. What can you tell me about Kraus?

Greta: Kraus is ex-Stasi, so don't let his wholesome appearance fool you. The man is a killer

Bell: The police are out in large numbers tonight

Greta: One of my informants was picked up in a random sweep, just two blocks from here. The Stasi must assume there are more nearby. I would ask a favor of you. He will not hold up under torture for long. We need him rescued... or silenced. They're holding him here

(Greta passes a slip of paper to Bell showing the address of where her informant is being held)

Bell: I'll see what I can do

Greta: (in German) Thank you very much

(Suddenly, an informant walks into the bar)

Adler: Heads up, Bell. I think Volkov is walking in

Kraus: Where is Volkov?

Informant: (in German) You were followed. Go home and wait for our call. There will be a new time and place. We'll take care of the tail

(Kraus leaves the bar with the informant just as two Stasi guards enter)

Adler: Bell, we've got trouble. There's two Stasi entering the bar. Get out of there, now!

Greta: Scheisse... (Shit...) Go through the bathroom, I'll hold them off

(Greta equips a pistol that she conceals. Bell gets up from his seat and enters the bathroom where a man can be heard vomiting in a stall)

Adler: Team, new plan. Meet outside Kraus's apartment. He's still our ticket to Volkov

(Bell climbs out through the bathroom window with the help of a ceiling pipe, ending up in an alleyway)

Adler: I'm going to need more time. Rally up with Lazar and park without me. I'll update you when I can

(Bell uses a lock pick to enter a garment workshop and heads upstairs)

Lazar: Careful, Bell. The Stasi are everywhere

(Bell then proceeds to execute a Stasi guard searching for a civilian)

German Man: (In German) Is he gone? Thank you so much! I think I'll stay here until the Stasi have left

(Bell exits through the doorway)

Lazar: Meet me in the building across from your current position

(Bell heads outside to the balcony of the building. More Stasi and Volkspolizei arrive in the area)

Lazar: Keep a low profile. We already have enough trouble

Adler: Park, gimme a sitrep

Park: I'm in a storefront facing Kraus's apartment. He just got home. You?

Adler: The Stasi are combing the area. I need to lay low. I'll catch up with you when the heat dies down. Bell, get to Park and Lazar ASAP. Out

(Taking a detour, Bell heads towards the building where Greta's informant Lukas Richter is being held)

(There are three Stasi guards guarding Richter and he is seen tied to a chair)

Richter: (coughs) Just let me go

(Bell quickly shoots each guard with his silenced M1911)

Bell: What happened?

Richter: I've been monitoring a nearby KGB field house. I don't know how they found me. I've done everything by the book

Bell: Do you know anything about Anton Volkov?

Richter: Volkov? He's awful... despicable! If you find him you should just kill him on sight. Please, I'm a friend... release me

Bell: You were careless and can't be trusted. We're done with you

Richter: No, please! Don't kill me!

(Bell shoots Richter in the face with his M1911, silencing him)

(Bell carefully avoids getting caught by the Stasi and head to a apartment complex where Lazar is waiting. Once inside, Lazar is seen peering through a hallway door to see if Bell was followed)

Lazar: Good work. I don't think anyone saw you. Follow me

(Lazar opens the door for Bell and places a chair to block the door)

Lazar: Stay quiet, we don't want the locals ratting us out

(Lazar pulls out his M1911 and the two exit the building. It starts to rain outside)

Lazar: Park's in the electronics store right across from Kraus's place. I was gonna pick up some knackwurst from Der Braunbar, but it's closed already

(Bell and Lazar enter the shop, where Park is monitoring Kraus inside his apartment and using a listening device to hear what is going on inside)

Lazar: We're back

Park: A car pulled up near Kraus's building a few minutes ago, but I didn't have a good angle to... just a moment, Kraus is on the telephone

Kraus: (in German) ...I know the fucking procedure, no one followed me through the checkpoint

Lazar: Bell, get eyes on Kraus.

(Bell pulls out a camera to see. Kraus resumes his conversation on the phone)

Kraus: Die Aktentasche ist sicher. Es hat mich die ganze Zeit begleitet. (The briefcase is secure. It's been with me the entire time.) Wo und wann? (Where and when?) Ja, ich kenne den Ort. (Yes, I know the place.) Ich werde vorsichtig sein. (I'll be careful.)

Park: What do you think, Lazar?

Lazar: Sound like Volkov wants Kraus's briefcase. We should place a tracker in it. That case will lead us straight to Volkov

Park: One of us can sneak into Kraus's apartment. Avoiding Kraus and his wife might be the greater challenge

Bell: I'll do it

Lazar: Bell volunteers. While he's doing that, I'll check around the exterior for any unwanted guests. Park, you can keep an eye on us from here. I'll try to give you my best angles

Park: Lovely

(Bell exits the store)

Park: The Stasi are stopping everyone, be careful

(Stasi guards are seen patrolling the street around Kraus's apartment and questioning German citizens. Bell quietly enters the apartment building)

Park: Bell, I saw Kraus writing in a ledger. See if you can find it. But if you're stopped by Kraus or his wife, the mission is over. You can tranq the wife if you have to, but Kraus must go to the meeting. I'm about to phone Kraus' apartment

(A telephone can be heard ringing. Bell lock picks the door and pulls out a Tranquilizer gun as he silently enters the apartment)

Park: Nice work, now find the briefcase

(Kraus's wife Edda is seen heading for the phone)

Edda: (in German) Hello? Tut mir leid, hier ist keine Freyja. (Sorry, there is no Freyja here.) Nun, ja, das ist meine Nummer, aber ich fürchte... Sieh mal, ich bin mir sicher, dass dein Freund nicht hier ist. Entweder hat sie dir die falsche Nummer gegeben oder du hast sie falsch aufgeschrieben. (Well, yeah, that's my number, but I'm afraid... Look, I'm sure your friend isn't here. Either she gave you the wrong number or you wrote it down wrong.) Of course. it's no problem. And a good evening to you-

(Bell tranquilizes Edda)

Edda: (in German, weakly) Help...

(Edda is seen struggling to stand up and passes out)

Park: She'll be out for hours. Clean it up

(Bell sets her on the couch to make it look like she is sleeping. He leaves her relatively unharmed)

(Bell quietly heads upstairs, but Kraus walks near the stairs to get his wife's attention. Bell had to be careful to avoid being spotted)

Kraus: (in German) Edda, can you find my umbrella? I'll be leaving in a few minutes

(Kraus son's Wilhelm can be heard calling his mother)

Wilhelm: (in German) Mama, I can't find my blanket!

Park: Shit, we missed the kid

Wilhelm: Dad, are you coming?

(Park observes Kraus leaving his office)

Park: Kraus is leaving his office! Hide!

(Bell hides in one of the rooms nearby)

Kraus: (in German) (to Wilhelm) Brush your teeth, I'll be up shortly

Park: Don't let Kraus see you

(Kraus heads downstairs and into the living room)

Kraus: Should've known... (seeing his wife on the couch made to look like she is sleeping.)

(Bell enters Kraus's office)

Wilhelm: Dad, I'm all done!

Park: I've lost sight of Kraus every time he enters that room. Have a look around

(Bell turns on a black light flashlight attachment on the dart gun to look for prints. Bell finds prints on a painting and a wooden wall. It reveals that it is a hidden room)

Park: You're running out of time. Find the briefcase

(Bell enters the photography dark room)

Park: I've lost your visual

(Bell turns on the lights in the room and the briefcase is found on a counter. Bell open the briefcase. The briefcase contains money, a U.S. passport, and photos of a nuclear device)

Park: Bell, Have you found the briefcase?

Bell: Yes, but there are just photos here. They appear to be nukes

Park: Understood. Just plant the tracker and get out of there

(Bell places the tracker in the briefcase and closes it. A woman's muffled voice is heard in the closet. Bell opens the closet and see that Greta Keller is tied and gagged in the closet. She sees Bell and try to warn him that someone is behind him, but Kraus pistol whips Bell and knocks him out)

(Bell wakes up tied to a chair along with Greta in a warehouse. Volkov is seen talking to Kraus, standing next to them)

Volkov: You allowed him to break into your apartment?!

Kraus: I-I can't explain it- how he got the materials. But I brought him to you

Volkov: That makes this much less unpleasant for you. Perseus has been looking for this one

Kraus: Then you'll let Perseus know I captured him? And we have Greta Keller as well. Her own colleague ratted her out

Greta: Richter? You spineless piece of shit...

Bell: You won't be hearing from Richter

Volkov: Ah, finally. You're awake

(Volkov grabs a metal folding chair and sits down)

Volkov: Perseus has a large bounty on your head

Bell: Go fuck yourself

(Volkov looks at one of the Spetsnaz operatives and nods his head)

(The operative grabs Greta by the neck and snaps her neck, resulting in her death)

Volkov: She gets it easy. Do not tempt me to bring out my toys. I will ask again. Who do you work for?

Bell: Suck my nuts

Volkov: What kind of fool are you? Do you think you will die with dignity here?

(Volkov punches Bell across the face)

Volkov: Perseus is paying me a fortune to smuggle his merchandise out of Europe. I bet he'll pay even more when he finds out I've killed you

Bell: Killing me gives you no leverage to negotiate with my friends

Volkov: Unfortunately for you, it seems these friends of yours have other places to be, Comrade. I could probably make use of you, but you're damaged goods. Only a grave can cure a hunchback

(As Volkov draws a pistol, Bell breaks out of the handcuffs with his metal arm and grabs Volkov's gun, disarming him)

(Bell kicks Volkov, knocking him off his feet. A Russian soldier tries to stab Bell with a knife, only to be countered and stabbed by his own blade)

(Another Russian soldier tries to shoot Bell, who grabs another Russian soldier as a human shield and steals his submachine gun, blowing them both away)

(Adler and the others are seen on the roof and fire smoke grenade rounds through the windows. The rescue team opens fire on Volkov and his comrades. Kraus gets shot as he is running away with the briefcase and dies. Spetsnaz operatives return fire and a round hits Volkov in the shoulder and wounds him)

Volkov: Kill them!

(Volkov flees. Park shoots a Spetsnaz operative)

Park: I'll secure the case. Get Volkov!

(Bell nods. He starts running and gunning with the MP5 submachine gun in his hands, fighting his way past the Spetsnaz operatives)

(Bell, Adler, Lazar, and Park all battle their way through to get to Volkov)

Adler: Volkov went through there! Bell, take him down!

Park: He's more valuable alive, Bell! Don't kill him!

(A flashbang grenade is thrown at Bell and blurs Bell's vision temporarily. Two Spetsnaz operatives protecting Volkov attack and are eliminated. Volkov is seen struggling to open the exit door and gives up as he sees Bell)

Volkov: So here we are, you and I

(Volkov drops his empty M1911 to the ground)

Volkov: Go ahead, take me out. It's what you're good at, is it not?

(Bell shoots Volkov in the leg and ties his hands behind him back)

Park: At last! Bell, on behalf of MI6... thank you. Volkov is ours

Adler: More than he deserves. Now let's get the hell out of East Berlin

(Bell knocks Volkov unconscious with a punch from his metal hand and slings him over his shoulder)
