Confession

You'll see. The words lingered in Andrew's mind, as they both waited for someone to say something. Lexi leaned in close, practically breathing on Andrew. Then she snapped back to reality.

"Wait Andrew, I need to tell you something." Lexi said, pulling back to her original position. Andrew, confused, replied, "Yes?" Lexi looked for the words to say what she was about to say, "From the first day of school, Brianna made a bet to Emma that she could make you fall in love with her. She didn't even like you or anything."

Andrew half smiled, "Well it's okay because I wasn't gonna date her anyway." Lexi nervously laughed, knowing the situation was about to escalate, "Well the other day, Brianna said she was just going to try to get you drunk and sleep with you at the lake house." Andrew eyes slowly grew dark, thoughts clearly racing through his mind. "Hm. Well that..sucks." That's the only words that could come out his mouth.

Lexi could see the struggle going through Andrew and even though she knew what she was about to say wouldn't help clear his mind, it might fix his problems. "Andrew, I'm sorry to load more information on you right now but I have something else to tell you." Andrew still looking down, sighed, and waited for more bad news, "I'm sure it can't be worse than this."

Lexi surprisingly smiled, "Yeah don't worry it won't be." Andrew looked up to meet the soft look in Lexi's eyes. It was a stare that was burned into Andrew's memory, something that was one of his favorite parts about her. "Okay, but promise this won't change anything?" Lexi said, sticking out her pinky. "Of course not." Andrew said smiling and completing the pinky promise. Lexi knew that things in the next few days would get messy but that wasn't even on her mind because God, it was beautiful when that boy smiled.

"Andrew, I like you, a lot. And it's okay if you don't like me back I just didn't want to stay friends knowing we would never have a chance so if you don't like me tell me now and let me down ea-." Lexi's ramble was interrupted by the warm feeling of Andrew's lips on hers. He gave her a small kiss that still somehow meant the world to Lexi. Even when Andrew pulled away, Lexi sat eyes closed, savoring the taste of his lips.

Andrew smiled, "I like you too Lexi." The words rolled off Andrew's tongue in a smooth manner like they've been waiting to be said since the day he met her. Both of them smiled, staring at each other with so much love in their eyes that everything else seemed to disappear. They both knew that this would make things really complicated but neither of them cared anymore.

"I wish I had something more flashy and that I planned this out but... Will you be my girlfriend?" Andrew asked, nervously biting his lip for an answer. "Of course I will." Lexi said, smiling and giggling as she gave him a small kiss. To Andrew this may have seemed like a bad way to ask her out but it couldn't have been more perfect for Lexi.

Lexi couldn't even wrap her head around the fact that now Andrew was her's to kiss and hug whenever she wanted. Lexi wrapped her arms around Andrew, taking in the scent of his cologne. "Let's think about this Lex, if we date during the lake house, we can easily show Jeremy and Brianna how strong our relationship is. We can show them how their plan failed, just be ALL OVER ME." Andrew said, ready to get their revenge.

"That won't be hard." Lexi said, winking. It wasn't even just for revenge, it felt good knowing they both didn't have to hide their love. The thing about Brianna was that she could never imagine Andrew and Lexi making up after that since she would've never been as mature as they were in that situation. She would've cut off the guy before even talking to him.

Lexi led Andrew out of her room a few minutes later when Andrew knew he needed to be home. Right before they opened the door, Lexi's mom appeared behind them. "Hey Lexi who is this?" Lexi's mom, Laura, asked. Shoot, Lexi just remembered she hasn't met Andrew. "Oh this Andrew he's Brent's friend." Lexi said. Brent's friend, Andrew hated the way she said it but he knew that she didn't mean anything by it, it was just to cover up a little.

"Oh Brent's home already?" Laura asked, thinking Andrew and Brent hung out. "Oh no he hasn't why?" Lexi said before she could stop herself. "Oh so you and Andrew just hung out?" Laura asked, squinting. "Uhm yeah he's my friend too." Lexi awkwardly replied.

Andrew stuck out his hand to interrupt the tension, "Hi you must be Lexi's sister, also don't worry about Brent by the way he's probably out with Pierson." Andrew said raising his eyebrows. Lexi's mom laughed at Andrew's reply as she shook his hand back.

"Hey I like him you should bring him around more." Laura joked, smiling big. "People say that a lot." Andrew said, laughing along with Laura. "Well nice meeting you Andrew." Laura said as she saw Andrew gather his shoes. "Nice meeting you too!" Andrew said just before Lexi could nudge him out the door.

"Hey no need to be sucking up to my mom like that." Lexi said, hitting his arm. Andrew looked around to see the door closed and no one around. He wrapped one arm along Lexi's back and pulled her in. "It's just part of my charm." Andrew said, leaning in close. He kissed her hard which was a shock to Lexi after the first gentle kiss.

This kiss was one that said 'She's mine' and Andrew was very soon going to let everyone know that. Lexi broke the kiss laughing and playfully punching him. "Hey someone could've saw!" Lexi said. Andrew smirked while simultaneously walking to his car, "So what if they do?" Lexi's knees went weak at his words. She watched him drive away, looking handsome as ever.

The control he had over her was crazy...
