She has a boyfriend?

11:02, 9 September 2024

Andrew watched as Lexi got up from the couch, each of her feet barely making it in front of the other as she walked. He was concerned but he didn't get up until he heard her fall to the ground in the bathroom. Gross noises of Lexi throwing up were all Andrew could hear before a big thud. He ran from his comfy place on the couch and saw Lexi, passed out on the bathroom floor. He blonde hair sprawled across the white floors and her face tear stained.

He picked her up while everyone else rushed to see what was happening. "We have to get her to a hospital!" Andrew said pushing everyone out his way so he could get to his car. He had never cared so much for anyone else in his life and he wasn't sure why this was different. He drove as fast as he could to the nearest hospital, his eyes always darting back and forth from Lexi and the road.

He rushed Lexi into the hospital as fast as he could and once she was with the doctor he still couldn't settle down. After 30 minutes Andrew was already getting impatient. He needed to know how Lexi was and what happened to her. He didn't have a reason he just needed to know.

The doctor soon came out, "Hi, Lexi will definitely be okay she just passed out it seems from dehydration and stress. Just make sure she drinks lots of fluids because she threw up on top of that. Also maybe talk to her? You never know what people are going through behind their smiles. She'll be okay to go in around half an hour. You can go check out the cafeteria or come back in 15 minutes if you want." Andrew was relieved at the good news and sighed, "Okay good, thank you!" The doctor smiled and shook his hand, "Happy to help."

Andrew thought about what the doctor said about asking Lexi if she was okay. She always struck Andrew as the happy type who had no problems. She was always so joyful and positive but maybe the doctor was right, was there more underneath that smile?

Andrew didn't want to go anywhere until Lexi came out so he waited, staring at the plain white ceilings. As Lexi came out she was struggling to walk so Andrew came to her aid. Carrying her, Andrew brought her to the car, "Hey Lexi, you're okay now, you're with me now." Those words were like music to Lexi's ears, something. that would replay in her mind for days. She smiled before snuggling up into his arm. She was too tired and drowsy to think about what she was doing.

She held Andrew's face gently in one hand and couldn't stop smiling and staring at his lips. This was something Andrew only dreamed of but he knew it was wrong to make a move while Lexi was in this state. Andrew smiled back and couldn't resist the urge to look at her lips too. As they reached the car Lexi's face turned into a cute pout knowing she wouldn't kiss Andrew. Andrew, on the other hand, was hoping she would forget this in the morning or else things might get awkward. The whole ride Lexi layed her head on the middle console, staring at Andrew.

He was everything Lexi remembered Ben to be, if not more. But that couldn't be possible in Lexi's mind. She didn't want to open up to people the way she opened up to Ben anymore. She knew she needed to push Andrew away but she just couldn't. She was drawn him, like a magnet was pulllung her closer. She had no particular reason for why she felt like this but it felt right being with Andrew. Lexi just couldn't wrap her head around that.

They arrived at the Rivera's house and Lexi decided to pull a little prank. She got out of the car pretending not to be able to walk just to be in Andrew's arms again. Andrew picked her up, immediately concerned at the fact she couldn't walk and helped her inside. He saw the stairs that led up to where Lexi's room was and knew that he had to carry her up the stairs.

In one effortless go, Andrew hiked up the stairs, holding Lexi tightly in his arms. As he went into her room for the first time the smell of Lexi's perfume flooded throughout the whole bed room. Her room was clean, her sheets were simple colors yet her room still had character. Cute little knick knacks were scattered everywhere around her room, remnants of old memories. On her bedside table was a picture of her with a handsome blonde guy, him hugging her from behind.

Andrew was immediately hurt before even knowing the story. Was that her boyfriend? How could she flirt with him like that and have someone special already. Lexi who was half asleep wasn't aware of the situation and Andrew didn't mention it at all. Andrew gently placed her in her bed before leaving the house with tears welling up in his eyes.

He shouldn't be sad right? He isn't dating her and she looked so happy with him. Maybe he should try to move on from his crush on her. I mean Brianna wants him right? So why not get with her, she's pretty and nice enough.

In reality Andrew's world was crashing down so he was just going to try and drive it off...
