Background Info

Lexi Rivera, Pierson Wodzynski, Brianna Mendez  and Emma McKinley. (I didn't use Liv because I would have to make her a mean girl.) These were the names of the girls who everyone at Huntington Beach High knew.

Brianna and Emma were the bitchy type of popular girls in high school. The ones who dated all the football players and could get anything they wanted. Lexi and Pierson, on the other hand, were the nice popular girls. Lexi used to be the same way as Brianna and Emma until something that happened in sophomore year.

Lexi's boyfriend, Ben, died in a car accident and few days after getting his license. From the outside, he could've been passed off as the stupid type. The one who didn't get the best grades and didn't have anything outstanding besides his looks. The Ben that Lexi knew was different, he was caring, the sweet guy that every girl wanted. He was the love of her life and she lost him. She regretted all the times she was ever mean to him because now she could never make it up to him.

Ever since then, Lexi had vowed to be her nicest to everyone, death was unexpected. That year was the year Lexi became friends with Pierson. After Ben died she sort of drifted away from Brianna and Emma. Still, she never stopped being friends with them because they knew how to be supportive and they could basically read Lexi's mind. Pierson had always been nice and funny so she complimented Lexi's new ways really well.

The four of them basically ruled the school, some of them liked a little more than the others. It was now senior year and Lexi, although still heartbroken, had been looking for love. She knew there was a guy out there, someone who could fill the hole in her heart that left with Ben. There was someone else who was just like the sweet, funny Ben that only she knew. But lately, nothing seemed to be going her way. Talking stages came and went and the year was only getting shorter.

Andrew Davila was the new kid at school. He was the outlier the first few days but he settled in after a while. His new friends, Jeremy Hutchins Dom Brack, and Brent Rivera were actually pretty popular. At least popular enough to have connections with THE girls of Huntington high. Brent was Lexi's brother and each of them seemed to click pretty well every one of the girls, or at least that's what Andrew heard from them. Brent and Pierson seemed to have a connection and Dom and Jeremy really just wanted any one of the three girls left.

From what Andrew was told, those girls were pretty much untouchable. He was told that none of those girls, all stunning, would ever like him for a while until he really fit in. Right now the only thing he had going for him was his good looks. It hurt to hear that but it was the truth for now. No one would really associate themselves with Andrew until he built his popularity, right?
