3rd person's POV

The clouds start getting darker, winds getting stronger, and heavy drops can be felt onto their arms. Felix was staring at his parents' tomb while sitting on the grass.

Tears are falling along with the heavy raindrops.

He was so tired for days. He didn't have enough sleep as he stayed with his parents' funeral. He met a lot of people, faking smiles multiple times, and shaking hands with them. That was the hardest thing for him to do, to pretend that he can face them already.

He wanted to have his own personal space with his parents but he can't. They are a public image, especially Felix who took over the throne that was once owned by his Father.

Hugs, greets, shake hands, smiles, those will never be Felix's problem when meeting new people or people he already knows. He has been doing that for years, and he never got tired of it. He never complained.

All of a sudden, it changed. He wanted to refuse meeting people, shaking hands, hugs, smiles, or even greets them. He wanted to have his own world and just stare somewhere and have deep thoughts.

Again, he can't. He is a public image.

It was no ordinary day for him.

It was the day that Felix finally said his goodbyes to them.

Felix was in pain the whole day, he cried, he just stared and had deep thoughts, he was quiet. But then, the moment that they were walking to the cemetery for his parents, ordinary people who are not wealthy and have connections. They were crying and were walking under the sun to send the royal couple off.

That was when he realized people loved the couple so much. Little, it made him happy.

"Mom... Dad... Why'd you leave so early?" he whispered and continued crying

It was him alone. Talking to them.

Sangmi won the case because of his ex-boyfriend's sudden attack. Hyunjin wasn't the lawyer, he referred Sangmi to a new one. Why? Out of respect to Chaerin. He also didn't attend the hearing that happened and refused to see Sangmi.

Although he refused to see her. She sent him a thank you gift for what he did to help her. She also sent him a goodbye letter to Hyunjin, Chaerin, as well as Felix.

She realized that things didn't go well because of her. Starting from the arranged marriage that ruined Felix and Chaerin. To Hyunjin and Chaerin's married life she got involved as well. She felt guilty for hurting Chaerin every time they met each other.

One week after the last day of the royal couple. All of them were in the cafe except for Felix who is still mourning over his parents' death.

Changbin put his phone down, "Chaerin just replied. Felix is not eating again."

"This won't do. We have to do something." Jisung said and was about to stand up

"Felix is in love with Chaerin and is willing to do anything. He didn't obey her. What more if we are the ones telling him to eat?" Hyunjin simply said and sipped on his coffee

"We have to do something." Jeongin said

"We will do something. That's a normal reaction for someone's death, especially because it was so unexpected. Let him mourn." Chan said

"So, why are we here?" Seungmin

"First, snapped out of it. We have to be stronger than Felix. On behalf of him, we will take action on what happened." Jeongin

"The lawyer of the royal couple went to me and confessed something. Before the couple left for vacation, they left all of their wealth to Felix, nothing left to them. It was like planned. The King hated the idea of giving inheritance to someone when he is too young for that." Hyunjin

"You mean they knew?" Jisung

"Possible. They probably received threats." Hyunjin said

"We have to find who the killer is. That's our main goal." Changbin

"Yes, but getting involved in this case is more dangerous as it seems. Let's not dig deeper and wait for Felix to make a move. He is more influential than we know. He can finish this case as soon as possible." Chan said

At the palace, Chaerin was there for a few days. She stayed with him from the day that the royal couple died. She never left him, she took care of him even though he refused to eat, sleep, or even leave his room.

"Dr. Ahn." the head maid said and handed her the food tray with Felix's food on it

"Thank you." Chaerin smiled

"I just hope he will eat. He has been skipping meals for days." head maid said

"Yeah. I'll try to make him eat." Chaerin said and went to Felix's room

She knocked but he didn't answer nor opened the door. Chaerin didn't wait for him to answer. Right then, she opened the door and found Felix crying in the corner of his room.

Chaerin put down the food tray on the table and went to Felix. She froze. She doesn't know whether to hold him, caress him, or just hug him. She is scared to receive a negative reaction from Felix.

"Felix... Aren't you feeling cold here?" she asked in a soft voice as she slowly touches his arm

He didn't answer.

"Are you okay?" she whispered, and caress his back

Felix suddenly hugged him.

"Felix." she called

"Chae, I lost them. I lost my parents." his voice broke as he said those words
