Sangmi's POV

We were in our family dinner, my brother wasn't able to attend for some reason. It's another boring dinner with them, asking about our company's stocks, and all. They would suggest me to go on a blind date or they will set an arranged marriage for me.

Our normal cycle whenever we have a family dinner. I know my brother doesn't have anything important to go to. He is just so tired of our happenings during family dinner.

Dad's assistant came towards him and whispered something that changed his expression. His serious expression changed into sadness. Am I seeing sadness?

"The previous King and Queen died in a car accident." Dad said

"What?" Mom looks shocked and worried

As much as I want to react, I don't want them to have another idea of me going to Felix to comfort him. I am worried of Felix, of course, we have been together ever since we were young. I have met his parents multiple times due to our family matters.

I badly want to call him but that this is not the right time to do that. Felix needed some time to be with his parents. I am sure his friends are with him, especially Chaerin.

"Sangmi." Dad called

"Yes, Dad?"

"Are you not worried of Felix?" Dad

"I am. Everyone is worried. I just don't want you to have an idea to send me to him right now and stay with him."

"Sangmi." Mom called to stop me

"But that's what you are supposed to do right now." Dad

"Dad, he needs his time to be with his parents. He needs time to be alone and accept things. This is not the right time for you to force me and pretend."

"How dare-" Dad

"Excuse me." I said and hurriedly left the house

I drove to my apartment. As I fet bored, I turned on the radio and it contains news about the death of the royal couple.

As I arrived at my building, I went to my apartment number. I opened the door and went straight to open the television. Good thing, the news is about to start now.

"The previous King and Queen died in a car accident earlier this morning. It was reported that the two were on their way home from a vacation trip. Right then, they got into an accident which led them to death. They were announced dead on arrival but when the doctors were reviving them they found a heart rate, however, it didn't last long, and they were announced dead." reporter said

I went to the kitchen to get some water, but then, I noticed the kitchen knife wasn't there. Fuck. Someone is here.

I acted normally, I took some food to eat and went to the living room. Calm down, Sangmi. He will attack if you will show that you noticed. I hurriedly opened my phone and texted Hyunjin.

To: HyunjinCan I call? I am badly worried about Felix. Also, it doesn't feel right here. Someone broke in.

Hyunjin calling...

"Hyunjin, how was Felix?"

[Was it your ex?]

"I don't know. I think so. Can I visit him when I have the time?"

[I texted the police officer I know. They are on their way. I'll drive now.]

"How did that happen? That's so sudden. I am sure Felix is not in the mood to accept visitors."

[Just talk.]

"About my ex..."

[Sangmi, no. You are triggering him.]

"He is such a dick. He is a fucking dick. He is good with words but he has never done anything to prove himself. I am so glad I fucking gave him the taste of his own medicine!"

[That's not a good strategy. Sangmi, this is not the right time to do what you want. He is dangerous. He might kill you.]

"He is really a fucking dick. His Mom hated him for having a short dick. That's why I never wanted him to fuck me. It will only feel nothing, waste of time, and energy- I might not be able to use my energy."

[Sangmi, please. I just arrived.]

"Can you believe it? Girls kept talking about how small his dick is-"

My ex suddenly came running and pulled my hair which caused me to fall on the floor. I was right. He have the kitchen knife.

"Bitch. You are supposed to be dead! You fucking whore!" he shouted as he put the knife on my neck

I looked up to check on the cctv and it was on.

"You fucking slut kept telling me that you hadn't fucked anyone?! Liar! You fucked every boy you know! Your company got this big because you are a slut! You slept with everyone!" he shouted and pressed the knife onto my neck which made it bled "You deserve to die!"

"You fucking deserve to go to hell! Dumbass!" I shouted

"Die!" he shouted and was about to stab me when he stopped

Hyunjin arrived and kicked him, causing for him to fall. He got up and was about to attack Hyunjin but then police arrived and got him arrested.

"Are you okay- You are bleeding." he worriedly said and hurriedly put his handkerchief on my neck to put pressure on it

"I am fine. It's a small cut."

"Atty. Hwang-" police officer called

"You can take the cctv record as evidence."

Hyunjin bowed to them and signaled them to go.

"Thank you, Hyunjin."
