Victory

Jay's POV

I was really annoyed with Ben's behavior and he's getting weird day by day, "I'm sorry Ben, for keep you hanging but it's not possible between us, I already have someone I like". His expressions turned, I was feeling guilty, but I can't do anything when my heart just belongs to Keifer, no matter if he hurt me but it's always him.

Ben held my hands, "Jay, what can I do to make you happy like, whatever you want. I'll be perfect...", cut him off, "it's not about perfection, it's about feelings, and sorry but I've nothing for you".

He clenched his jaws, "then why did you agree to give me a chance?". I pulled off my hands and nodded, "though I already made it clear but I'm still saying sorry for that, I'd have said it clearly, now I'm sorting it, I can't be with you".

I know it's heartbreaking, "I hope you'll get someone better soon; you're an amazing person". I turned to leave but he stopped me, "you can't do this with me, I calmly replied, "I don't think I did something wrong, it's you who assumed everything".

Ben nods his head, "you're right it's just me, who assumed", he backed off, he's so sensible maybe more than the guys I met before, thank God it didn't take a lot to make him realize the thing. Before leaving he said, "are you doing this because of Keifer?", I didn't respond, "well.. it's your choice. But I've been seeing you for the last few months, where was he when you're alone?". 

"I don't think.. I need to explain", I was saying but he cut me off, "whatever, he doesn't even have his home, car and..",  I was frustrated, "stop it, what do you know about him?",

He's from the royal clan of London, the heir of Watson, but I don't care cause it's him, and I love him because he's Keifer not because he's Watson, I pointed my finger at him, "don't you say anything about him". And I left. 

Keifer was waiting for me, "what's up with that fucker?"I sighed, "nothing, just rectifying my mistakes". He scoffed, "just let me know if he bothers, I'll give a proper treatment to that son of the bitch". I hit his arms, 'this is not your Manila, and Ben is so sincere, he's not into gang wars like you're".

He smirked, "alright, ahh.. what I was saying", I did a hmm, "say", he tilted his face to stop right in front of me, "I love you". Where did that come from, this man is crazy, "I don't", and I moved "you're just testing my patience, just say it". He followed me, "okay! Let's go on a date".

I was about to agree but I want to tease him more, "not in the mood". He sighed, "then in the evening", I denied, 'I've to practice, tomorrow is my competition". He shook his head, "should I sing a song for you, or recite a poem for you".

I nodded, "suit yourself", he kept following, "or just bring the stars for you, ask the moon to shine more bright for you, or ask the flowers to spread more fragrance wherever you go". I was blushing hard and just folded my lips to hide it.

He was not stopping, "I'll..", I kept my palms on his lips , "stop it". He whispered, "just say it". And our eyes met, my lips moved, "I.." but not that easily, I pushed him, "hard work", I left for my practice.

It's time for my shooting competition, as the match starts, my class was cheering so high for me, I smiled at Isla, "thank you", and she smiled back and raised her hands to gesture me about good luck, and Bartlett arrived still holding the same attitude, I just smirked and ignored her. It's the first round today for an inter university competition, 10 participants were at the start. 

The game starts, gradually the participants start getting eliminated with successive rounds, and in the end three of us left. It's a small break, "you can do this", Keifer said. Ben too approached me but before that Keifer gave a tight hug to me, "you're going to win".

I saw Ben coming towards me but I didn't back off from Keifer's embrace, and I saw he himself take his steps back, I think he got it, that I belong to him, only Keifer.

The game restarts, and I heard some comments, "non worthy", "loser", it literally demotivated me but I won.

And the final round, me and Bartlett, I was focused but those flashes of me being sued, the terrible days when everyone was against me, then loud cheers, Jay- Jay is the best", "Our Jay is queen", it's my class cheering for me, loudest was of Keifer.

I set the target, pulled the trigger and closed my one eye to focus, and finally shot, and damn it's 10 points, not once but in all three chances I score perfect 10 and it's a win.

I ran towards Keifer and hugged him tightly, the victory with him standing by my side felt surreal, his smile was wide and there were lot of people cheering for me and some doubting over me but his voice was too loud to motivate me to fight till the end, I think he's been trying so hard, I should say those three magical words to him.

Before that someone came in between, "hey, why are you clinging to him", I looked at the voice, "Kerry, what nonsense", Keifer snorted and hugged me more tightly. Her face turned down and she approached him, but he stopped her, "I didn't want to embarrass you, but can you stop pestering me. I only like her, I don't mind accepting in front of all".

She sneered, "oh really she! damn she's not that beautiful and in front..", he cut her off, "she's the most beautiful girl for me, my Miss Universe. stop ashaming yourself in front of everyone, please leave". I looked deep into her eyes, and held Keifer's hands tightly, "this is my place, not anyone else's".

I walked away by holding his hand, he was just following me and smiling like a fool but a little far stopped and pulled me into his embrace, "what was that?". I pouted, "what?". He smirked, "my place", he mimicked me, I sighed, "I was just saving you from being harassed". 

He shook his head, "please say it, don't make me so desperate", he bent down to reach me and pulled me closer, "say it, Jay-Jay that you love me". I can feel my heart racing, as he brings his face close to me, I bit my lips, "Keifer!", I gasped. He said in a very slow voice, "yes, I'm hearing it all".

My eyes met his, and our breath collided, "I", I was saying and he picked me up, "my back was aching as I bent myself down". I hit his shoulders, "you're a jerk", he folded his lips and an evil smiled around his lips, "profanity", and he slowly approached me and I gave it to the moment and our lips met. I wrapped my legs around his waist and we're kissing each other in the middle of college campus.

I backed off, "keep me down", he denied, "say it first, those magical words, I've been dying for it. Why are you teasing me this much", he literally begged, I felt pity over him, "okay! but at least let me stand properly".

He placed me down, "how can you suddenly pick me up like this". He laughed, "cause you're short, my back and neck suffers". I punched on his chest, "then just kneel down while chatting with me".

He nods, "I don't mind, and I'll surely do that once I buy you a ring", wait, what does he just say, a ring, is he indirectly proposing to me for marriage, this guy. "Oh wait, get off the horse, dreamer, we're just freshers and I haven't said yes yet". He pulls me again by waist, "whatever maybe a few years later, eventually...we're going to get married".

The moment he said, it's all silent, I thought that's the right time, "I love..", ugh my phone vibrated and it's Ci-N. "Oh I almost forgot, he's home". Keifer was purely annoyed, "what? and who's home?". I told him, "Ci-N, he is standing outside the house, let's go".

Keifer got something to deal with and I went home alone, as soon as I reached Ci-N saw me and sprinted, and threw his arms against my body even jolting me, he's super happy. It's almost a year since I saw him and others, and I'm really missing my friends and family here. We moved inside, he's become more tall now.

He even brought me gifts, ahh... this batang is growing up, as he started looking around in the home, actually kitchen, well he can't live without food. I offered him some cookies and snacks. I was not sure how he would react when he'll see Keifer, whatever it would be chaos and specially when Aries will arrive.

I turned on the tv for Ci-N, he still watches cartoons and Shinchan, really, "if you want to watch shinchan you can see it in the mirror", I laughed. He pouts, "not funny, I'm neither foodie nor mischievous". The most ironic thing in world, even Shakespeare can't compete.

He moved to use the washroom, and as he entered he screamed, "Jay you're unfair". I ran towards him, "what's wrong', he's holding Keifer's tshirt he might have left it hanging in washroom, "you've got me a father and didn't even told me".

I rubbed my head, "actually..", he starts asking, "who is my father Jay?", he fake cries, "stop overacting", I sneered. He rolled his eyes, "why are you behaving like I'm your illegitimate child? did you got a new one? a real one so you abandoned your adopted kid, you're unfair", he starts ranting without a reason.

He might be looking big, but still that annoying kid, I hit his shoulder, "shut up, it's Keifer". He became silent for a moment and then caressed my hair, "Jay, are you alright". I removed his hands, "what? I'm doing good".

He calmly asked, "how can it be Keifer? I mean... are you still into him. Oh my God, so to not miss him you've kept his clothes with you, I'll take you to the doctor, I'll be a filial son". And I hit him again on shoulders, hard one this time, "stop it, you'll get to know it all, just rest you'll be tired of the long journey".

I heard him mumbling, "I think she's really lost it", I'm sure you're going to lose it when you'll see Keifer back, a great chaos is going to happen. I ordered Ci-N's favourite meals, he ate and slept, this guy is not suffering from jetlag, really he just knows how to eatig and sleep.

I waited for Keifer to come, as soon as he arrived, his face was a little bruised, and clothes were a little torn off and dirty, "what's wrong with you?", I asked being tensed, and moved towards him, "it's a deep cut", i touched the wound near his lips, this shameless less man held my hands and kissed it, "jerk".

He just laughed off, "nothing, I just fell into the ground", I was saying but he cut me off, "where's Ci-N", I pointed at my room, "sleeping", "did you tell him about me?". I nod, "and he said I need a psychiatrist".

I asked him to change and went into the kitchen to microwave the food,, but the power was off, and all dark, it might have turned off the AC, and Ci-N came out, "it's too hot". 

He might have seen Keifer's shadow, 'who's he?", he rubbed his eyes, Keifer turned towards him, "Hi Ci-N", the bruised face of him was looking scary to me and same goes for him, "this voice...". He screamed, "ghost! it's a ghost!", he ran to me, "Jay, there's a ghost in your house, sounding like Keifer".
