Still in Love

*Flashback continues*Jay and Keifer get off the stage, they're praised a lot. She went into the restroom when she came out, a pair of strong arms pulled her, keeping hands on her mouth, and again took her back into the restroom. She bites the palms of that person, "what the hell, Keifer", he gestured her to remain quiet, "someone might hear us".She pushed him, "what do you want?", He smiled, "I saved you", her expressions changes, "what do you mean?". He closed the distance between them, "I became your partner, and saved you from getting disqualifie". She backed off, "thank you". He smirked moving towards her, "just thank you? our barter system?". Her forehead creases, eyes squeezed, he's still moving and now it's only wall behind her, he caged her by his arms, "Jay, I didn't sing the lines you wrote but my own", she downed her gazes, "and those were not random, that were for you". Her heartbeat dropped, "did he just confessed indirectly", she thought.His hands move, just inches away from her body and face near hers, "I mean those lines, my Minamahal", she looked at him with surprised eyes, "I like you, I really do, actually I love you to be exact...". She went speechless but her eyes sparkled, she could feel his warm breaths on her face and neck, "do you..", before he completes his piece, she grabbed his lips.Keifer's hands lands on her shoulders with her sudden action, their lips were just touching lightly and she backed off, "the feelings are mutual, Keifer". His hands slowly moved towards her waist, giving her chills, he pulled her and her lands on his chest, and they again crashed their lips against each other, it was lingering but soft. Their heartbeat was accelerating, and breaths were high, tangled into each other's embrace they backed off and looked into each other's eyes, he kissed her forehead and hugs her. They heard the knock-on door, "Jay, it's been so long, are you fine".

"Shit, what are we supposed to do?", Jay panicked, but Keifer was smiling, "damn you, jerk how can you smile", she scolded him. He leans towards her, "profanity", she rolled her eyes but before that he placed a kiss on her lips, she smiled while responding, "Jay, come on", it's Aries on door. She pushed Keifer, "if Aries found out us like this, we're a done".

"Coming, my stomach is upset", Jay said. Keifer looked around and hides behind the door when Jay got out. She behaved normally, but her eyes on restroom and when Aries moves towards it, "Aries come here", she called him. He raised his brows, "what? I'll be back in two minutes". Jay screamed, "no...", everyone startled and looked towards her. She smiled, "please come Aries", he came near her, "what?", She pointed at her shoes, "tie the laces". He smacked her head, "literally?", he scoffed, "do it yourself". She dramatically said, "okay! after all I'm just your cousin, if it's your real sister or maybe Ella, you'd done it".

He shook his head, "I've spoiled you a lot, actually Kuya Angelo is responsible for this, he always treats you like a little kid". Amidst this, Keifer finally managed to come out. She let out a long breath, while Aries tied her shoelace, she patted his head, "God bless you". *Flashback over*Keifer's POV

Our life was so happy, we're really happy together and then came my inheritance in the scene and fucked up everything literally being a Watson is a curse. But now I'm just a common man and I really want to be with you again; can I have this chance maybe after I'll explain her about everything happened to me. Jay's POVKeifer stop following me and confuse my heart, and this Ben is not leaving me at all, I just said that I'll think about him but haven't accepted his proposal, damn he's behaving like my boyfriend already. and these classmates, why the hell they're interested in my life, God! I've to concentrate over my upcoming event.I guess now I'll be able to do so, he said she's not his girlfriend but that bracelet, I don't know if he's playing again. I can never understand this man completely, even his way of loving is overwhelming. and worst thing is no one can really find if he's loving or just... huh he chooses to hurt anyone even himself for someone he really loves, even the one he loves. At home, we both together came out of our room, and approached kitchen, "I'm brewing coffee, you want some?", he asked, I denied. He coughed, "actually I already returned the bracelet that girl kept in my bag", I stared him for a moment, "so what?", though my heart was relaxed but still I've to behave normal. He again asked me about the coffee while keeping milk for boiling, I nodded, "okay fine, make me some". He smiles and even I did, he stirred the coffee and poured into cups, he's about to add sugar, but I stopped him, "I've reduced my sugar intake", he looked at me surprisingly, I know I used to eat a lot of sweets and cakes, "you're already bones and skin", he taunted. "Just do what I've asked", I commanded, he's suppressing his smile, "you've got all traits of your cousin", we just had our coffee in silence, but our eyes were saying a lot. I woke up to used restroom in night, once again lights of his room were open, is he suffering from insomnia, and the door suddenly opened he's standing tall, eyes partially opened, 'Keifer? do you want something?", he kept moving forward, and I followed him, "why are you not responding, Keifer?". I held his hand, he turned to me and came closer, without looking up he just leans towards me, "ahh.. you're heavy, I'm not able...", he wrapped his hands around me, he's hugging me, I patted his back, "Keifer?", he didn't respond, my hands rested on his back, I was not backing off either, maybe I was also yearning for this, his embrace, his warm touch. 

He was asleep, blowing warm air on my neck, "what's with you Keifer? what had happened to my strong man who singlehandedly used to wipe off everyone, how he's become vulnerable". He was heavy but I tried to drag him into the room and finally successful, I looked at his face, "I'm still in love with him, I can't stop loving you Keifer". I was about to leave but my heart didn't want to, it's wrong but I was longing for this since I saw him again, I kissed lightly on his lips, "you stole it last time in hospital, just returning it to you", and I ran back to my room. I want to ask him about his sleepwalk, but my practice session was in early morning, so I left before he even woke up. Finally, the opponent of Chris Bartlett mine show up, the coach praised my technique, and I can see creases on her forehead. She clenched her jaws, "Filipino, right?". I nodded, she smirked, "special recommendation, I heard it right, there's someone who is here by some approaches, daughter of Mariano". I know my dad is a famous personality here due to business bonds between Mariano and Albanese but I'm here because of my talent. I sighed, "I believe in fair competition, come on", she looked at me fiercely, "alright". We set the target, and I lost the first round maybe I lost my concentration, "aww.. Mariano lost", a friend of her, "you know, she's sued for 4 months, must have done some". My head spinned for a moment but I closed my eyes, "well, I don't your validation". And I heard a voice, "come on Jay, you can do this", Isla was there with some classmates. Chris challenged me again and this time I defeated her and consecutively for two times. I can see the anticipation on her face. Isla told me Keifer asked all of us to support. The game ends, and we went into changing room, I ignored her, but she pulled my hand, "will see you in finals", I smiled, "excited!". She really frustrated and especially due to my calm replies, life literally made me nonviolent. She pushed me, I countered her by holding her shoulders lightly. still she's not stopping and tried punching me, but I dodged but my head struck into the wall, it's bleeding. Keifer's POVI saw Jay was fighting with a girl, she's standing alone so I called Isla to bring our classmates to cheer for her. I was in the back, and she gave a tough fight, and finally wins, always a queen. The game was over, but I was waiting for her outside the changing room, due to a call I moved aside but heard some noise. 

I knocked and opened the door, Jay was lying on floor, her forehead was bleeding, and some was in her hand as well, "fuck..fuck", I ran to her immediately, Ben was moving towards her as well, but I pushed him, "do you even know how to handle her? Stay away from my Jay".I know what's upcoming, Jay was crying and screaming, I just held her hands tightly and pulled her into my embrace, "I'm here, your Keifer is here Jay-Jay", I made sure she's looking into my eyes, "calm down! It's me, your Keifer, breathe Jay".

Jay looked into my eyes, and took deep breathes, "I'm right here, no one gonna hurt you", I kissed her forehead, "I won't let anyone hurt you, never ever", I was saying this when I was the one who hurt her every time, but not anymore I'll always keep you happy and as you're with me, I think I'm becoming strong again.

I took her to the medical room, and lay her on the bed, caressed her hairs, "your condition has become worse, didn't you get your treatment properly", he kissed her forehead. Ben came into the room, I stopped him, "don't disturb her", but Ben pushed me, "I'll take care of her".

He scoffed, "she's not yours", I smirked, "of course she's", I looked at Jay, I can feel strenght in myself, I wanted to fight and was ready turn down the world for it, "stay away, she's my wife". 

Jay came into her senses, she whispered, "Keifer...", I moved immediately and held her hands, "yes I'm here", and kissed them. She closed her eyes, "take me home". I nodded and called a cab and bring her home, she's not saying anything. We were home in a while. I cooked some porridge for her, and knocked her door, it's open so I entered she's sitting in balcony, and I sat beside her and offered her porridge, "you love my cooking", she didn't respond, I took a spoon full of meal and took it to her mouth, "have it". Before any conversation, our eyes went on building across ours, there was a boy hiding into balcony and girl inside was with a man looking like her father, seems like she's hiding her boyfriend. "I remember meeting you by hiding from Angelo", I said, she laughs as well. *Flashback*It's night, Jay was peeking on Keifer's balcony, "is he asleep?, but lights are on just one glance Keifer". She turned in disappointment and suddenly, "bhaw", she's startled and lost her balance but Keifer held her from the waist, "you scared me"He smiled and dragged her inside the room, "I just want to see ", and rubs her knuckles, "and adore my wife". She slightly pushed him, "you chose sneak into my room but how did you climb up", he shows the pole, "from there". She looks at it, "it's risky, what if you fell". He moved closer, "I'm already fallen", and bites her earlobe, "in your love".

She blushed, "cheesy", he smiled looking into her eyes, "but your red cheeks are telling that you like it". there was a silence for a moment, but Keifer bent a bit while looking into her eyes and press his lips against her, this time it's not soft but desperate, she too joins with the same passions tangling hands into his hairs, and his hands were on his waist.They both towards the bed without breaking the kiss and he's over her, both were lost into each other, but her door was knocked, she pushed him instantly, he fall, "ouch", and hide behind the curtains, and opens up the door while settling clothes.

"Kuya Angelo" she was trying to be normal and he enters, "were you talking with someone?", she nods, "no, why are you here?". He sits on his bed, "just to congratulate you for winning the competitions, I'm literally proud of you, doing well in everything", he ruffled her hairs with love.

She smiled, "thank you Kuya", and her eyes went on Keifer's shoes which were visible under the curtains, she distracts Angelo and gestured Keifer to leave, but Angelo got up and moved towards balcony, "do you like this room?", She nods, "of course and I love living with you all", she leans towards his arm trying to bring him inside. Keifer came out of curtains and stood right behind Angelo, Jay was nervous and unknowingly pinches Angelo's hand, "ahh, you're hurting me, wait why are your nails grown", he looks for nail cutter, "you'd trim them". Keifer was following him, and making weird faces, teasing Jay. she's controlling herself. 

Angelo took her hand, "is there any problem", she's not paying attention, but her eyes were on Kiefer who's crossing lines of mischievousness, by dancing behind him, she pulled her hairs, Angelo turned but Keifer dodged and moved behind him, and even kissed Jay's hand, "what's up Jay?", he said while turning back to her.

Jay hugs Angelo, "you're too good to me Kuya, thank you", and behind him she hits Keifer on his chest, "leave", she whispered, Angelo caressed her hairs, "do you want something?", she backed off, "no, I'm saying it genuinely", she took the nail cutter "you are so hardworking, have some rest", she tries pushing him off the room, "Good night", and finally he left.Jay took a deep breath, but Keifer was laughing, she kicked him in legs, "you're unbelievable", she pushed him again, "what if he saw you, we're doomed". He pulled her, "he disturbed us and tbh I didn't like it". She shook her head, "you..', before he says anything he tilted his head and captured her lips, devouring her and she responds, "I love you Jay, and it's not mere words I truly love you". She reverted with a hug, "love you too".Flashback overKeifer's POV

They both looked at each other, "that time was the best time of my life", I said, Jay was silent. I took a deep breath still looking in her eyes, she leans a bit towards me, I don't know what was happening we both just gave it to the moment, and we don't know when our lips met, it's been months we kissed, her lips were still sweet as they were. I closed my eyes, can't tell, the peace I had, that was not just a kiss but a medicine to my every pain, this is all I need, I want you keep with me, for my lifetime.

We're feeling each other after a long, trying to live the moments again, relive the love we had, but she backed off suddenly, and looked at me, "why? why again? you're making me habitual of yourself, to leave me again?". I can see tears in her eyes, "why you're doing this when you don't love me, never chose me". Can't you see Jay, can't you really see how my hands are burning like fire, even when yours are cold. I finally spoke, "Why do you keep thinking that I'll not choose you when it's only you I've always chosen Jay, for God sake Jay see yourself from my eyes, how much it hurts when you think I can't love you when here it's me whose love is only getting double every single since I saw you".
