Chapter Five – Packing and Remembering The Old Times

And Stella was here.

“God Stella! We aren’t going to Stratford forever. Have you packed your whole closet?” I asked Stella.

“Pshh.. Eden you don’t know a thing.” Stella shrugged.

She was literally carrying her whole closet. For real.

I am very serious.

“So what were you doing?” Stella asked me while keeping her luggage in my room.

“Just watching tv. The usual.” I answered.

“So you done with packing?” She asked me.

Um no.

“Yeah kind of.” I lied.

“Show me.” She smiled and ordered.

I just nervously stood over there.

“You haven’t even started. I know.” Stella rightly pointed out.

“Uh-huh.” I smiled nervously.

“We are packing now.” Stella announced and went inside my room and I followed her.

Stella opened my closet and I removed a bag from the cupboard.

“Let’s get started.” Stella said and threw her hands up in the air.

“What song?” I asked her.

“Call me maybe duh.” She said in her duh tone and I played the song in my iPod and then kept it on shuffle.

It’s actually mine and Stella’s thing. Whenever we have to do things like packing or cooking or whatever, we just put a song on and do the work while listening to it.

Our thing.

“You want this top?” She asked as she took out my blue top from my closet.

“Nah.” I told and shaked my head.

“What about this dress?” She once again asked while taking out my lavender coloured dress.

“Of course I want it.” I said as if it was the most obvious thing on Earth. It indeed was.

“Should I pack this?” I asked as I took out my black shorts.

“Yep.” She answered as she kept some of my clothes in the bag.

1 hour and 45 minutes later..

“I guess we are done here.” Stella said grinning.

“We are.” I said.

It was 10:35 PM already.

“I am so fucking tired now.” I say tiredly and just fall on my couch which was in the living room.

“Same. What should do we now?” Stella asks as she lays on the sofa.

“Movie.” I yell in excitement.

“Which one?” Stella asks.

“Um how about Mean Girls?” I ask and Stella automatically grins.

It’s like our favourite movie.

“Duh.” She says.

“Okay you put the DVD and I’ll bring popcorn and coke.” I inform Stella and go into my kitchen.

Grabbing the scissors from the kitchen cabinet, I cut the popcorn packet and put them in the bowl.

Opening the microvawe, I put the bowl inside the microwave and keep a timer of 3 minutes.

After the popcorn were done, I grabbed two glasses and took out coke bottle from my fridge.

Pouring the coke in the glasses, I was finally done with them and then I kept the coke bottle inside the fridge again.

I kept the big popcorn bowl on the table and then brought the coke glasses from the kitchen.

By the time I was done with it, Stella had already inserted the “Mean Girls” DVD inside the player.

“C’mon Eden! It’s getting started.” Stella shouted in excitement.

“Coming! Coming!” I told her and sat on the sofa.

I kept the big bowl of popcorn between me and Stella and gave her the coke glass.

“Thanks.” She muttered and her eyes were glued on the t.v screen.

The movie was officially started.

1 Hour Later…

“Damn! Doesn’t Regina George remind of you Ashley Hunters?” Stella asked.

“Duh. Ashley was the top class bitch.” I said as a matter of factly.

“Remember when Principal caught her kissing Eric in the boys washroom when we were in the 12th grade.” Stella smiled as she remembered that memory.

“Yeah..” I trailed off and started to remember that day.

Me and Stella were just gathering our Math books from our lockers.

“You done?” Stella asked as she closed her locker.

“Yeah just a second.” I muttered as I finally found out my Math textbook.

“Done.” I smiled.

After taking our Math books for our Math lecture, we headed out for our class.

Me and Stella were just walking when we heard those weird kissing sounds from the boy’s washroom.

“What the hell?” Stella asked laughing.

“I don’t know.” I laughed.

Suddenly out of nowhere, our Principal popped out and heard those sounds.

She opened the washroom door and there they were standing and making out.

It was thee bitch, Ashley Hunters and her new guy for the day, Eric Parker.

I seriously felt like vomiting when I saw them making out.

Everyone from the corridor gathered near the washroom and started making sounds.

Some were saying “Ew and that’s so gross” and boys were just yelling for apparent no reason.

Both Eric and Ashley snapped out and now looked scared after seeing the Principal.

“Miss Hunters and Mr. Parker in my office NOW.” The principal yelled in disgust and left the corridor.

The whole time Stella was laughing.

“Oh my god! That day.” I started laughing.

“Remember how they were suspended for 2 weeks and were given the job for cleaning the corridors for like a month.” Stella started laughing.

“When we all laughed at how angry the principal was and everyone joked about how funny the principal looked when she was angry.” I remembered and started laughing again.

“Her face was used as a reaction picture on Facebook and all. Hahahaha!” Stella laughed.

“And how Chaz and Ryan would imitate her face and Justin would record it and we would end up watching and laugh like crazy.” Stella continued.

Ryan, Chaz, Justin, Stella and me were basically a gang. Yeah could say that. To be cool and look like badass, we called our group a “gang”. We were very weird.

Me and Justin were best friends.

“Oh my god! That was so fucking amazing.” I said.

“And when the principal suspended Luke because he was the one who clicked her angry face and posted on internet.” Stella said.

And I laughed once again loudly.

“Oh my god! It would be so fucking amazing if they all will show up at the reunion.” I said.

“I fucking know right? Oh my god that will be written in the history.”

We started remembering all those old school memories and we weren’t even watching the movie anymore.

“Girl! It’s like 1 in the morning.”Stella informed.

What?

We were remembering all those old days for like 2 hours? Wow time flies fast.

“We better sleep now.” Stella said.

I nodded my head in agreement.

I then closed the lights and we headed into the room.

This reunion better be memorable.
