Chapter Four-  Mystery and The Ellen Show

Eden

Mystery.

That’s what is going on around me.

Firstly, Stella and her mystery call and Stella acting weird.

Secondly, some random person leaves the red rose bouquet at my door.

Thirdly, the hoodie guy and when I tell Stella about him, she just smiles.

What is going on?

I want to find answers.

Why do sound like Sherlock Holmes?

Ugh.

Slipping on my shoes, I exit my house and decide to go to Mrs.Evans apartment.

Ringing their doorbell, I wait for them to answer the door. After waiting for like 5 seconds, Mrs. Evans ever smiling face greets me.

“Hi Mrs.Evans.” I greet her smiling.

“Hi Eden honey.” She says smiling.

“Oh Shit!” Someone from the background says.

I peep inside her house and some guy exclaimed and quickly went inside the bedroom, hiding his face and quickly shut the bedroom door.

“Oh honey. That was just my sister’s son. Clumsy boy.” She laughs.

“Oh okay.” I reply nervously.

“Mrs.Evans do you know any guy named Ethan?” I ask suspiciously.

“First come inside sweetie.” Mrs. Evans tells me.

I smile and sit on the sofa which was located in her living room. She had decorated her living room so beautifully.

She hands me a glass of water and sits on the sofa opposite to me.

I take a sip of my water and again question her.

“So Mrs. Evans, do you know any Ethan?” I ask her once again.

“Ethan. That’s my sister’s son. Remember when I told you at the door?” She replied.

“Oh.” I say.

“Why? What’s the matter?” Mrs. Evans asks.

“Actually someone rang the doorbell yesterday and when I opened the door, someone had left a red rose bouquet and then today I asked our building watchman if he knew that person. The watchman replied saying that a person did come with a red rose bouquet at around 8PM and it was Ethan.” I explained.

Mrs. Evans smirked.

Why the hell is everyone smirking?

“Oh but Ethan came at 8PM and that bouquet he had brought for me.” She informed me.

“Oh okay.” I said.

“See it’s over there.” Mrs. Evans said and pointed at a red rose bouquet.

I’m confused.

“Yeah.”  I shrug.

“So can I meet Ethan?” I ask curiously.

“Oh honey I wish. Ethan is a shy kid. That is the reason he quickly went into his bedroom.” She chuckled.

I laughed too.

“Okay Mrs. Evans I’ll see you later.” I said and smiled.

“Bye darling.” Mrs. Evans said.

I left Mrs. Evans house and took out my house key from jean’s pocket.

Opening the door of my house, I made my way to the kitchen and decided to cook some Pasta.

Dinner Time!

Pasta is like heaven on earth. Definitely my favourite food ever!

As the Pasta started to boil, my phone rang and it was Stella.

“Hi. What’s up bitch?” I asked sassily.

“Nothing much. I’m coming to your place for sleepover and we have to do packing.” Stella informed.

“Why packing?” I asked.

“Eden tomorrow we are leaving for Stratford. Remember?” Stella answered in a duh tone.

Oh my gosh!

Yeah now I remember.

How could I even forget?

You are so dumb Eden!

“Oh my god! Yeah I remember.” I said.

“You forgot. Didn’t you?” Stella asked.

“Isn’t it obvious? Duh.” I say sassily.

Sassy Eden.

Yep that’s me.

“Whatever! I’m having my dinner at my house and then coming to your place. Cool?” She asked.

“Cool.” I smiled.

“Fine I’ll see you by 9PM. Bye hoe.” Stella greeted.

“Bye bitch.” I said.

I hung up.

Me and Stella just call each other “hoe” or “bitch”. Like that’s just our thing.

Weird. I know.

We are who we are.

After the Pasta were prepared, I took out a dish and served the pasta in them.

Switching on the tv, I sat on the sofa with my pasta.

Flipping through several channels, I put on the Ellen show. I absolutely love Ellen. She is so amazing.

It was a repeat telecast though.

My eyes were just glued on the tv and my mouth was just eating the Pasta.

Let me tell you, I just make the best Pasta in the whole world.

Seriously.

“Today we have two special guests.

Give it up for Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen.”

Everybody claps and yell in excitement.

Ellen announced.

What the hell?

Why does he have to show up whenever I watch tv. Ugh

I still watch the show because Carly Rae Jepsen. Carly is amazing.

“So how are you doing Justin?” Ellen asked smiling.

“I’m good.” Justin winked.

Still the same old Bieber.

Ellen laughed.

“We are totally in love with your new album. Aren’t we?” Ellen asked the whole audience.

They all just screamed in excitement.

Justin laughed and winked at the audience and once again they screamed.

“Thank You.” Justin thanked and smiled.

“So Carly how are you?” Ellen nicely asked Carly.

“I’m doing good.” Carly answered nicely.

“Everybody give it up for Carly Rae Jepsen.” Ellen announced and the audience erupted into applause.

“Thank You guys!” Carly said.

“So Justin, the fans want to know what’s your favourite song from the album?” Ellen asked Justin.

“I like Catching Feelings.” Justin announced smiling.

“So what is it about?” Ellen asked.

“It’s about a boy and girl, who are bestfriends. The boy is afraid to tell the girl he loves her, even though they talk everyday. She is basically his everything and he loves her.” Justin explained.

“Aw that’s so sweet.” Both Ellen and Carly said.

Justin just blushed.

Even the crowd were in awe.

“So who is it above?” Ellen asked smirking.

“You.” Justin winked.

“Aw Justin. I love you too.” Ellen said jokingly.

Everybody laughed.

“Carly what’s your favourite song from Believe?” Ellen asked.

“I really love As Long As You Love Me and Boyfriend which is about you.” Carly giggled.

“Yep that’s about me. Right Bieber?” Ellen smirked.

“Totally.” Justin laughed.

I wonder about whom did he write Catching Feelings?

I like that song too.

The show continued and Ellen just joked with everyone.

Placing the Pasta dish in the sink, I wash it.

Drinking some water, I made my way to my living room.

Suddenly the bell rings. I get up and walk towards the door and open it.

It was Stella.

The sleepover has begun.
