Chapter 19: Birthday Part 2

Harry POV:

“Time for Haz’s gifts now!” Yells Louis.

“Okay, okay, let’s all calm down” Liam says bringing out his present first. “It’s from Dani and I” he says.

I open the box and I see a pair of aquamarine chinos from Urban Outfitters. They are just the cutest thing, except Niall would probably want to rip them off me, he told me last week his favorite thing I wear is colored chinos. “Thanks so much guys, they are just soooooo blueeee!” I say smiling widely. Next up I got my present from Lou and El, its was a checkered scarf, black, grey, blue and white, it went really nice with the pants. After them it was Perrie and Zayn’s turn, the handed me another bag, I opened it to discover a grey and blue faded shirt, the blue started at the top and eventually faded into a soft gray, again from Urban Outfitters. “Did you all coordinate an outfit for me with all my favorite colors?” I ask, already knowing the answer.

“Yes” Niall said all shy and awkward, probably thinking to himself that I wouldn’t like any of it.

“That’s so cute!” I say embracing him in a hug.

“You forgot the finishing touch” Niall said handing me a bag.

Inside there were two boxes, a pair of grey chucks in one, and a black fedora.

“I am totally wearing this tomorrow on our date Niall!” Oh fuck, it was supposed to be a secret……

“Date? Oh Haz you shouldn’t have.”

“But I did.”

“Okay so who wants to watch a film?” asks Zayn, while we all sit down on his enormous couch. It’s where we were all sleeping tonight, Zayn and I get to choose the movie since it’s out birthday, and we decide on finding nemo. He puts the disc in and goes to sit down beside Perrie. All four of us couples are cuddles into each other all under blankets, snuggling up to our boyfriends and girlfriends.

“Harry?” Niall whimpers looking up at me.

“Yes Niall” I say kissing him on the cheek afterwards.

“You know I love you right?”

“Of course”

“Good.”

“I love you Niall.”

“I love you too Haz” He yawned, then he fell asleep in my arms.

THE NEXT DAY…..

“Nialler wake up.”

“NOOOOOO!” he groans into my ear.

“Everyone is up already, they are upstairs cooking pancakes. As soon as I said there was food he bolted right up off the couch and leapt towards the stairs.

“Well, aren’t you coming for pancakes?” he ponders.

“Yep, I’ll be up in a sec ok?”

I go and find my coat looking for the ring box, it was in an inside compartment of my jacket. I open the black velvet box and just stare at the rings, they were just so perfect. I can’t believe that it has been six months, it feels like forever.

Niall POV:

“Well, aren’t you coming for pancakes?” I ask a tired looking Harry.

“Yep, I’ll be up in a sec ok?” I pretend to go upstairs but I creep around the corner to spy on him. He heads over to his coat to look for something, he finds what he is looking for but I cant see what he is holding. He smiles to himself when looking at the item, I just really want to know what it is, and if it is for me.

“Oh Harry!” I say frightening him, he puts the thing back into his coat and comes upstairs to greet me.

“Happy Anniversary!” I smile then I drag him in closer and start to kiss him.

“Get a room guys, Oh Perrie, Zayn not you too” Liam says while they also start kissing.

“Happy three year Zaynie!” she says while nestling into his neck.

“Happy three year Perr” he says in loving response.

I am still trying to figure out what we are doing tonight, I hope it involves food. God Niall stop thinking about food all the time!!!!! I look down at my stomach and it grumbles. Man I am hungry…..

LATER THAT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ding Dong! My doorbell rings, must be Harry, I look at my watch he is early.

“Hey, is your mom home?” he asks me, he is shaking and he looks very nervous.

“Yeah she is in the study.”

Harry POV:

I enter the study and see Ms. Horan sitting at her desk with her reading glasses on, she looks up when she hears me walk in and smiles. I go towards the desk, and try to clear my throat.

“Yes Harry?” she asks putting her glasses on the table.

“UUUUH” I completely choke, god Harry what are you doing, just be a man and tell her!

“I want to propose to Niall……” I let out.

“OH MY GOD HARRY!!!! Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” She said, she was completely ecstatic about this.

“Well, do you have a ring?” I rush to her side and take the box out of my pocket.

“Oh my goodness Harry! They are just so gorgeous! I am one hundred percent positive he will say yes.”

“Thanks, I have been really nervous about it” I say putting the box back into my pocket.

“Harry, He will say yes” she says assuring me while I walk out the door.

“Nialler you ready to go?”

“Yep!” he says excitedly while romping down the stairs. He looked dashing, so handsome and elegant and masculine. He looked perfect, he looked amazing. He was wearing grey chinos, dress shoes, and a blue button down shirt with a blazer on top. He was looking so attractive.

Niall had no idea where I was taking him. We were headed to a picnic site on a lake, when we got there the sun would just be starting to set. It sounded so romantic when I planned it out in my head, hopefully he thought it would be.

“Harry the view is BEAUTIFUL!” he cries.

I look up into the sky, a million stars twinkling back at us every second. We get out of the car and go to sit on the grass, I spread a blanket and we sit down, close. He rests his head on my shoulder and sighs. He looks up at me and gazes into my eyes, then extends his reach to give me a light kiss. It was the prefect time, the perfect place and with the perfect person, I knew in that moment it was time.

“Niall, I know we have only been together for six months, but I have known you for over three years. You are my best friend and much more than that, that is why I need to ask you something, something important.”

“What? Harry! Come on and ask me! I want to know!”

“Niall James Horan” I say, as I bend onto one knee. He clasps his hands over his mouth and starts to cry little tears. “Will you do me the biggest honor of becoming my husband?”
