05:37, 2 January 2024It was getting late, and some of the kids were beginning to leave the party. Sidney and Mary were at the front of the house, with Sidney screaming for Tatum. "Tatum come on, lets go!" Stu came over, wrapping his arm around Mary, when Sidney looked at Stu. "Have you seen Tatum.. either of you?" Stu & Mary shrugged their shoulders, saying no, and shared a look. Mary had killed Tatum, and Stu was aware that Mary killed her.
Billy suddenly appears with a "boo", in a classic fake scare act. Mary jumped, faking to be spooked, while Billy gave a look to Stu and Mary. "Billy? Jesus, you scared me." Sidney put her hand through her hair, while Mary put an arm on her sister, comforting her. Stu winked at Billy, knowingly "Billy.. hm.. what are you doing here?" Stu said, scratching his chin with his finger.
Billy looked at the boy, and then at Sidney. "I was hoping Sid & I could talk." Mary shook her head at the boy, in disagreement. This caused Billy to cock his head, at the girl, not realizing she was still playing the game. "If Tatum sees you-- she'll draw blood." Billy rolled his eyes at Mary at the fake threat, while Stu smiled at her comment. "You guys can go up to my parents room? To talk.. and whatever." Billy and Sidney glanced at Stu, while Mary looked down trying not to laugh.
"Subtlety Stu, look it up." Billy glared at his friend, but Sidney just shook her head, and grabbed Billy's hand. "It's okay. He's right. We do need to talk." Sidney leads him up the staircase, not before Billy punches him in the stomach, causing Stu to wince. Mary rubs Stu's arm, glaring at Billy for hitting her boyfriend again, as Randy walks up to the duo just as Sidney and Billy disappears.
"What's leather face doing here." Randy nods towards Billy. Stu looks at Randy, with a smile, mocking the fact that Randy clearly has a crush on Sidney. "He came to make up." Randy frowned at this and crossed his arms. "Well, there goes my chance with Sid." Stu looked over at the boy, his eyebrows furrowed, while Mary snorted in amusement. "As If." Stu said as he walked away, doing a peace sign in Randy's face. Mary, at the same time, looked at Randy. "As if you had one Randy." Randy sighed at them as Mary followed Stu back to the living room.
-With Sidney-
In a large, master bedroom with glass doors that lead out to the balcony, Sidney and Billy stared at each other for a long time. Embracing the silence. An Awkward Silence. "So..." Sidney started. Billy looked over at her, and began to start the discussion. "So..I'm sorry. I've been a selfish shit, and I'm sorry." Sidney shook her head vigorously, insinuating that Billy wasn't at fault.
"No Billy. I'm the one who's selfish and self-absorbed with all my post traumatic stress." Sidney looked down, avoiding the eyes of her extremely attractive boyfriend. Billy took her hands in his, "You lost your mom.." Sidney looked at him, understanding but also eyes full of guilt. "So did Mary.. and you're right. Enough is enough. I can't wallow in the grief process forever, and I can't keep lying to myself about who my mom was." Billy hung his head down quietly, and knowingly. Mary hadn't grieved, but she was also never given the chance. Even if she did help kill her own mom, all the attention went onto Sidney.
Sidney continued. "I think in some weird analytical, psychological bullshit way, I'm scared I'm gonna turn out just like her. Like the bad seed or something.." Billy looked at her, moving hair out of Sidney's eyes, revealing her face. "Oh.. Sidney" Sidney was venting to Billy, and there wasn't much that he could say to help relieve what she felt, so he just let her talk.
"Every time I get close to you, I see my mom. I know it doesn't make sense." Billy nodded at her, looked at through his dark brown, almost black eyes. He pretended to understand her, even though he didn't have much real sympathy for her. "Sure it does. It's like Jodie Foster in Silence of the Lambs when she kept having flashbacks of her dead father." Sidney shook her head, disagreeing, saying that this was life and not a movie. "Sure it is, Sid. It's all a movie. Life's one great big movie. Only you can't pick your own genre." Billy scoots over towards Sidney, pulling her into a tender embrace.
Sidney takes the initiative, acting on impulse, kissing Billy long and hard. They break away from the kiss, out of breath. "Why can't I be a Meg Ryan movie?" Billy soothes her, while kissing her neck. Sidney bends her neck, so he can have more access, before continuing, "Or even a good porno.." Billy stops his movement, staring over her shoulder, shocked. "What?"
Sidney breathes in heavily, her eyes dilated in lust and sexual need. "You heard me." Billy smiles, and moves in to take her virginity, and make love to her. It would be the one and only time he got to do this.
