Chapter Seventeen: Hazel

I'd like to thank winter_snowcream2920 for her comments! My brain is full functioning today(: this is chapter seventeen. I'm not sure how many chapters it should have..... The POV is Hazel and nope most characters are not mine.

Chapter Seventeen: Hazel

The image was terrible. Camp Half Blood was in flames and Octavian (Hazel really hated him) was leading it. "Where's Reyna?" Jason asked making Piper raise an eyebrow at her boyfriend. "I don't know, Where's Chiron?" Leo asked. Just then image shifted, Chiron and Reyna were arguing on the beach. "Call off your army! I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding!" Chiron yelled. "I can't! Isn't it obvious? Octavian has told them lies, they won't stop, it's our Roman ways" she said stomping her foot in the dirt. "Chiron!" Nick yelled making Serenia jump. Serenia? What does Nico see in her? Chiron didn't flinch, it was as if they couldn't hear them. Many wounded solders were being taken away, screams ripped through the sky. Hazel bit her tongue from preventing her from crying her eyes out, she imagined this being Camp Jupiter, she didn't know how Nico felt. The image changed yet again.

A sleeping woman sat in a throne. "Welcome half bloods, I'm so glad you got my message" she chuckled. "What do you want Dirtface!" She yelled. "Isn't that obvious? I'm just showing you what's going on as your on your cruise" she smirked. The image shifted yet again. Percy was asleep and had his head on Annabeth's shoulder. "Annabeth" Leo asked, she could t hear them. But they could hear Gaea.

"This quest is pointless" she said in her sleepy voice. "Shut up Dirtface" she growled. "You know he's going to give up? You have to. His wound is far worse than he's making it out to be, sure he tried being strong, for you. He even broke down, but anyone who flinches with every breath is going to die. You should just give up, while you still can. I might spill your blood without killing you. There are no promises he's going to even make it there though" she said walking towards Annabeth. "Fine, but give me ten minutes with Percy. Alone" she snarled. Gaea turned and walked out sleepily.

"What is she doing?" demanded Frank. "She's a daughter of Athena, she has plan" Nuco said.

Annabeth woke Percy up. "First shut up, we have ten minutes before Gaea comes back and brings us to her throne. I don't have a big plan, but for now acg like your in a lot of pain, mope, complain, cry do anything to slow her down, I'll do the same" she said. "Won't be hard" he said. "I also need to rebandage your leg" she said. He rolled his eyes. Hazel watched Annabetg lift up his pant leg and pull the bandage off. It had stopped bleeding but to Hazel's horror, she could see part of his bone. Percy had his eyes closed tight and Annabeth's face turned a sickly shade of green. "I just wish I had something to close it" she said looking away. If Hazel was right they only had four minutes. She got out a fresh bandage, the bandage looked just like Annabeth's back pack. And wrapped it around his shin. "Annabeth, I love you" he whisperd. "I love you too, seaweed brain" she whisperd back, kissing him on the fore head. Then Gaea walked in and pulled Annabeth up by the chin and Percy by the wrist. Gaea had a mud trail garden her wrist to theirs. With one step Percy fell and screamed. "Get up!" she yelled. Hazel watched Annabeth smirk as Percy screamed and kicked Gaea in the shin making her growl in pain. "Up now or I'll harden your girlfriend into a mud sculpture" she snarled at him. He stood up shaky. Two steps later Annabeth fell. Those are Hazel's friends, the strongest people she knows.

When the image disappeared everyone sat down at the table to talk about what they saw. "They have a semi plan" Leo said helpfully. Everyone ignored him, and Jason stood up "We need to go to Greece, that's where the doors should be" he said. "No!" Aleana said suddenly. We need to head to Rome" she said. After two hours of arguments, they headed for Rome.

Everyone was on the deck, watching the waves splash against the boat. Hazel grabbed the side in fear of becoming sick. Thats when Gaea came, "Aleana, Serenia great job leading them into the trap."
