Valentina's POV

The next morning I woke up with a plan. I carried the baby and headed to the woods.

"We're going to go see your daddy", I assured her earning a smile. And soon I will be your mommy too.

We arrived at the small house deep in the woods.I knocked on the door and Itachi opened the door. As soon as our eyes met I felt butterflies in my stomach. Just as I did that night he slept next to me in the Akatsuki.Our eye contact didn't last because his eyes traveled to his daughter who was in my arms.

"I am an anbu from Konoha. I was on a mission and found this baby crying nearby", I lied.

"This is my daughter", he told me, a hint of happiness in his voice, and took the baby into his arms.

He took his daughter inside and then stepped outside with me.

His eye contact made me feel hope.

"Why did you kill my wife?"? He then asked.

"W-What?", I stuttered taking a step back. How did he know??

He took out a sword and threw it at me.

The sword stabbed my heart and I fell back into cold, bright red snow.

The bright sky turned a crimson red just like the color of his eyes.

I sat up on my bed gasping for air and grabbing my chest. I looked around my clocks and then at the baby who was deep asleep next to me. It was only a nightmare.

~*~The next morning after I dropped Lily to daycare an anbu stopped me on the streets and told me that Lady Tsunade requested to speak with me.

I knew that they knew I killed my teammates so planned my escape.

Of course I didn't escape. Orochimaru sama showed me to ignore these paranoid thoughts. No matter how afraid I was for what was going to happen, I kept my serious calm profile.

"Lily, we found all your anbu teammates dead in the woods last night", she said to me.

I said nothing and showed no expression. I couldn't pretend to be sad either. She didn't know the emotional side of me.

"Once again some people reported seeing you in the woods late at night."

"What? Granny Tsunade are you implying Lily-Chan had something to do with it?", once again Naruto popped out of nowhere. "She was on a date with me last night."

Lady Tsunade turned to look at me surprise. "Is that true, Lily?"

"Yes", I told her calmly. "Naruto and I were together last night." I wasn't specific on the amount of time we were together. Whether it was just a few hours, or the whole night. I was willing to leave that to her imagination. She looked so surprise to hear that from us. Probably because I'm such a loner.There you go again with your low self-esteem thoughts I could hear Orochimaru say.

Walking out of her office I bumped into someone.

"Sorry", I was beginning to say, but I looked up at and it was Karin.

I followed her to the woods were Suigetsu was already waiting for us.

"What are you guys doing here? It's too dangerous for you two to be here, let alone, me being seen talking to two strangers in the woods. Whatever you guys need to tell me, you can do so later tonight. I will be heading to the lair- ".

"About that", Karin interrupted me. "We are leaving."

"Where to? Kabuto hasn't told me anything-".

"No Lily", once again Karin interrupted me mid-sentence. "We aren't leaving with Kabuto. We are leaving with Sasuke."

I was SHOOK

"What???! You do know he killed Orochimaru sama, right?", I asked them.

"Yes we are aware of that," Karin said.

I turned to look at Suigetsu and he just looked down.

"Why are you going with him then?", I asked again.

"Lily are you blind? You seem to have Orochimaru in a pedestal. Sasuke killing him was the best thing that could ever happen to all of us", Karin said reaching for my hand "come with us."

I quickly took my hand away, when she said that. "No. I won't."

"Why not? Now that he's dead you have no business being here in Konoha. There's no need to spy when there will be no one to report the actions and secrets to. You even said once that this isn't even your home village", Suigetsu said, "Being here will only risk your life."

He was right. Orochimaru sama being dead had me being here as a worthless act. Me killing Itachis wife was worthless as well. It didn't make me feel better. The only person who I truly wanted to kill was Sasuke Uchiha, but Orochimaru sama told me not to touch him. Suigetsu was right, but me abandoning what Orochimaru sama had ordered me to do felt like I was betraying the man who brought me back to life.

"If you two want to follow that traitor, then go ahead. Don't look for me anymore", I firmly told them taking a step back.

Karin looked annoyed, and Suigetsu seemed confused, almost saddened, by my response.

~*~Obito's POV

I saw that girl, Lily,  kneeling down on a grave that she created on her own for Orochimaru. She seemed to be holding something I couldn't see.

She gasped as she turned around and I was right behind her.

"That's a child ", I heard myself say out loud, shock, as she held the little girl closer to her.

"I didn't sense you", she murmured looking down as she began walking past me.

"Keep your guard up at every time. This isn't like you", I said looking back at her.

She fastened her paced as the little girl woke up and began crying loudly.

I appeared in front of her and took the child from her arms.

"That's my child!-" she almost cried out, but it came out as a whisper. She stopped talking and stared at me as if she was afraid of what I would do.

"Your presence  doesn't seem to calm her down..so much for being her mother", I said with a chuckle and she gave me a death glare.

"What's this princess name?", I asked her after calming her daughter in a couple of seconds.

"Lily", she quickly said.

"After you? She has Uchiha features so I'm guessing her father is -"I was cut off as she took her daughter from my arms.

"That doesn't concerned you", she said walking away.

"You being a spy in Konoha doesn't concern me either does it?", I asked.

She turned to look at me both shock and afraid.

"I want to start the Great Fourth Ninja War and destroy Konoha", I told her.

She stayed silence looking at me. As if she was trying to comprehend what I just said.

"In other words-"

"I understand what you're saying", she said, "what I don't understand is why you would need my help?"

"You're very powerful, Lily. It would be of a lot of use to have such a great anbu by my side", I told her.

She glared at me and I waited for her response for what seemed like forever.
