chapter 32

Tobias' POV

Marcus. "I thought you were in prison" I say, tightening my grip on Tris. "yeah, well it got boring so I escaped, and now I'm here to hurt you." I laugh. "you have been doing that for years" he smrks. "I didn't say how I was going to hurt you" He punches me and I fall down, and then he does the one thing that hurts more than all of the torture I have been through. He takes Tris. I hear her scream as he hits her, and by the time I can get up, she is gone. The others come running out. "Where's Tris!?" screams Uriah, I know he cares about her a lot aswell. "Marcus" I choke out before bursting in to tears. "no" whispers Uriah. Zeke sits next to me. "what happened?" "he said he was going to hurt m and I laughed because its not like he hasn't hurt me before but he said that wasn't how he was going to hurt me. He punched me and took Tris" Everyone is crying. "who?" asks Chris. Of course, they don't know. I ask Zeke to tell them because I am crying too much. Once he is finished, we are all crying even more. "come on we have to find her" I say pulling myself together. Will is the first to have an idea. "what phone does she have?" seriously he wants to know what phone she has!? "iphone 5S" answers Chris. "I can track it!" says Will, excited. I look up at him. "you can?!" he nods, "come on" we follow him to Tris' computer and watch him do a weird load of technical stuff. He better know what he is doing because I need Tris back, I feel like I can't breathe. I notice someone sit down beside me. "we'll get her back, it's okay" says Uriah. "hey guys, they have taken her to an abandoned warehouse on the other side of town" says Will. I jump up, knocking Uriah over. "sorry, Uriah, Will how far away is it" "about fifteen minutes by car" I grab my car keys. "come on then, we have to go get Tris!" We all pile into two cars and go.

Tris' POV

When I wake up I an in a metal room with one window, but it is locked and is too high up for me to reach. My ankles and wrists are tied up. I scream and the door opens. "I see you have woken up" says Marcus. "Where am I?" he smirks. "an abandoned warehouse" "what happened to Tobias?" I hope he's okay, I would die without him. "he is fine, I hurt him by taking you but he will never find you. and if he does it will be too late." with that he leaves. I have no way of escaping so I sleep.

I get woken up by Marcus coming in with a glass of water. Then I hear a loud crash and voices. "Tris!" Tobias. "HERE! TOBIAS HE-" I get cut off by a blow to the head, the last thing I see before I black out is Tobias bursting through the door, followed by the whole gang.

Tobias' POV

We arrive at the warehouse and Zeke, Uriah, Will and I break the door down. There is no one there so we start to walk down a corridor. I hear a noise and I can't take it anymore. "Tris!" "HERE! TOBIAS HE-" She is cut of by a thud. I sprint to the room that she is in to see Tris, battered and bloodied. She looks at us and blacks out. "Tobias, I see you and your friends are smarter than I thought, too bad you are too late, you can see how much blood she's losing" he says smirking. I punch the smirk off his face and rush to Tris. She is losing so much blood. "CALL AN AMBULANCE!" I scream. "Tris, please I love you don't leave me, you promised you wouldn't leave me, remember?" I am crying next to her until the ambulance comes.

Don't you just hate Marcus?!
