Now or Never

"Hyung, This is so freaking cool! I never thought hyung will ever do a song like this" It was the BTS leader, Kim Nam Joon. This was Yoongi's habit. Whenever he produced a song, he would call Namjoon and let him listen to it. Then he would play it to all the members before releasing the song. It always made him reassured if the song is good enough to go to public. Especially he trusted Namjoon's feedback from their pre-debut era.

"Is it okay?"

"What okay? this is so good, hyung. I really like it. I never thought they can sing like this even" he pointed at the laptop where the MV of the song playing.

Though Yoongi was not appearing in the MV, he visited the shooting site and ordered a coffee truck for the staff of the site.

"That's the main thing of this song. No one expects Taeyang hyung or Lisa to sing like this. Luckily Taeyang hyung really liked the idea." Yoongi replied as he unconsciously mess his hair.

"And you worked with Lisa.. Wow, who would have thought Min Suga produce a song for a Blackpink?"

"Ani, it was Taeyang hyung's idea."

"Oh come on, hyung. I know you always had a soft spot for Lisa"

"What nonsense? I don't have soft spot for anyone. "

"Ah hyung! We were together for nearly half of our life time. I know you better than anyone.  You never get into trouble for other groups, but you did it for Lisa"

"Yah Namjoonah, it was just one time! How can you still remember it, Jinja?" Yoongi recalled the incident Namjoon was referring to.

It was in 2019 GDA awards show. BTS were in backstage, after one performance. Yoongi was coming out from the waiting room when he saw the argument between three girls. It wasn't really an argument.

"Yah, watch where you are going." one girl said.

" Joesonghamnida" The girl in gold and black dress appologized. It was Lisa.

"Mwoya? So you are not going to acknowledge the sunbaes now? Is Black Pink that superior?"

"No sunbaenim, joesonghamnida. I didn't know"

"What? You mean, you don't know your sunbaes even?"

"Wow, this is what happen when they get people who don't have any manners." said the other girl.

"If anyone talks korean with accent, they will take them to the group"

Yoongi even didn't know these two girls. But they are making rude remarks to Lisa, who looked to be panicking as she struggle to find words to appologise. She waved her hands to disagree but it made the girls angrier. 'But this isn't right. Aren't they making her flustered? Where the hell her group members?' Yoongi looked around but no other Blackpink was in sight. 'This is not right!' There was an urge growing inside of him to save her. Before he could fight back he heard himself saying, "Lisa-ssi". 'Fuck! now what?'

Lisa and the two girls turned to look at him. The girls bowed to him and said, "Suga sunbaenim!" but he ignored them. His eyes only was on her. Lisa looked surprised too.

"Teddy PDnim was looking for you for a while now. You might be in a trouble if you don't meet him now." He said. Yoongi has no idea why he said that.

Lisa's eyes got bigger, "Teddy oppa?" She stared at him and quickly said, "Kamsamnida sunbaenim" and left the place.

'Luckily she didn't ask anything else.' He then turned around still ignoring the girls. Right behind him was Namjoon, when they met eyes, Namjoon mouthed "Wow!".

As they walk back to the seats, Namjoon whispered Yoongi in the ear, "Hyung, I don't think Teddy PDnim came today even"

"Yah, it was not a big thing even." Present Yoongi said.

"Why not? It's really big for you. That day you made some pretty good fancam videos too, drooling over Lisa" Joked Namjoon.

Yoongi remembered that too. 'That's true and I hate Namjoon' he thought. What really happened was after that incident he felt sorry for her that he kept looking at her that day, which went viral, saying "Suga has crush on Lisa". He pretended like he didn't see any of this and swore to himself that he'd be careful.

It has been few weeks after song released and it took internet by storm. Everyone was going crazy over the song, someone would call it "The best collab of the decade" which is too extreme, thought Yoongi. He was busy as always, working day to night, but something kept nagging him. He kept on feeling like something is missing.  Since the song was a great success, Yoongi decided to call Taeyang over for a dinner.

"Hyung, how are you?"

"Ah, it's our Suga! I'm doing good. how are you? Yah, I get insane feedback for the song, I really don't know how to thank you"

"Aniya hyung! Why are you saying like that. Hyung, the reason I called is not that, I wanted to invite hyung for a dinner at my place."

"Oh really, Sure, sure. I will definitely come.  Is it only  me? Is Lisa also coming?"

"Ani hyung. Only you"

"Yah, call her too. Anyway I didn't get chance to meet her. I have some stuff to talk about. Don't worry, she doesn't eat much"

Yoongi paused for a while. "No hyung, that's not a problem. I don't know if she is busy these days."

"Suga-ya.. call her and see. Let me know too. Anyway I will come."

Once he hung up, Yoongi scratched his forehead. 'What just happened?' He had mixed feeling about this.

Lisa got ready after her dance practices on that Saturday. She looked in the mirror. She was wearing white t shirt and denim jeans, a jacket in her arm, incase, if it gets chilly. She's really not sure this is happening, 'Did he really invite me for a dinner at his place? Luckily Taeyang oppa also will be there, otherwise it's going to be really awkward.' She sighed.

When it's nearly 8pm, she was near the 'Famous Min Suga's house'.

"It's bit weird for me to drop you at a BTS' house" said her manager, Won Jae oppa.

"Me too oppa"

"Taeyang also coming for sure?"

Lisa nodded her head.

"Careful"

"Oppa, I'm not going to a fight"

"I know, I just don't know how to act when you go to meet a BTS. Because these kind of thing never happened before."

"Come on Oppa, I met Suga oppa couple of times"

"Yeah, but not in his house, alone. There were hundreds of people around."

"Ah Jinja oppa, stop it already. I told you Big Bang sunbae also there. "

Lisa took her phone out and dialled 'Yoongi oppa'. "Oppa, it's me"

Yoongi lead her to his living room. The house looked really clean and tidy. 'Unlike my one' thought Lisa.

"Oppa, your house is really nice. I don't know how you keep it this clean."

"Aniya, I tidy it up for bit because you guys are coming"

"Taeyang oppa didn't come yet? I didn't call him because I thought he is already here"

"Yeah, not yet. May be I'll give a call"

He took his phone, it starting to get awkward, Yoongi wished Taeyang come soon.

"Yeoboseyo, hyung. Are you near?"

"Oh Sugaya, did Lisa come?" Taeyang answered from other end."Yeah hyung, just now"

"Sugaya, there's a small problem. My wife went out today, and I have to do the babysitting. Mian, I won't be able to come. I really wanted to eat your food, but things happen this way. I'm really sorry. Just tell Lisa too."

"No hyung, that's okay. Just take care!" Yoongi hung up the phone. 'Now this is very convenient. WHAT THE HELL AM I GOING TO DO?' Though his face looked calm, inside of his head he panicked so hard.

"Is everything okay, oppa?" Lisa asked.

'No, not okay' he thought, "yeah, but looks like Taeyang hyung won't be able to come" he said.

"Oh...."

A silence.

"Is it okay? Looks like it's only we two"

"Of course it's fine." Lisa said, 'NOT!!' She thought. 'What kind of a situation is this?'
