Chapter 17 – Is it Happily Ever After?

The Doctor's P.O.V.

“Oh for crying out loud! I'M PREGNANT! There I've said it, happy now? THE OTHER DOCTOR GOT ME PREGNANT AFTER I DRUNKENLY SLEPT WITH HIM! I'M GOING TO HAVE A BABY!” Maddy screamed, as tears fell down her face.

She's pregnant. Madison is pregnant. She's having a baby, and I think it may be partly mine. SHE'S PREGNANT!

“Doctor? Doctooorr?” Maddy called out, waving her hands in front of my face.

I was stuck on the spot, not moving, while my jaw hung open and my eyes were wide. Maddy was starting intently at me, while she protectively put her hand over her stomach. She suddenly look upset, as she began to cry again. Where as, I was still stuck to the spot.

“See, this is why I didn't tell you! You're all frozen on the spot and probably hating me, because I got pregnant by somebody else accidentally. I understand if you never want to see me again, just drop me off on Earth and I'll live a new life. Just know I'm sorry and I love you.” She cried, slumping down onto the seats.

“Yo.... You're.... Preg...pregnant?” I stuttered, turning round to where she was sat.

“Yes. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be!”

“You're pregnant? Like with a baby? A proper baby is growing inside you?” I asked.

Smooth, Doctor. Real smooth.

“Yes, a real baby! What other type of pregnant would I be?”

“I have no idea. So.... You're pregnant?” I repeated, sounding like a complete moron.

“If you say that one more time, I will come over and slap you.” She warned.

“But you're pregnant! What else am I suppose to say? I'm in shock!” I exclaimed, throwing my arms in the air.

“I don't know! Be supportive, shout at me, tell me everything is going to be fine, kick me out the TARDIS and refuse to speak to me again! I don't care, but if you say 'you're pregnant' one more time, I'm going to explode.”

“Why would I shout at you? Or kick you out the TARDIS and refuse to speak to you again?”

“Because I got pregnant by another man, while you were searching a way to break the impossible to find me. I was also being a bit of a bitch to you.”

“Madison Brown. You complete, idiot. I would never, ever do anything like that to you! How could you think I would kick you out the TARDIS because you got pregnant!” I smirked, sitting down beside her.

“Because I'm pregnant. By somebody who isn't you!” She repeated.

“So? It kinda is mine though.”

“How so?” She asked, raising an eyebrow at me.

“Me and the other Doctor were the same person. Same DNA and regeneration pattern. In a way, you kinda sept with me. Weird, I know, but true. The baby is basically mine too. Huh, a mum and two dads.” I nodded, putting an arm round her shoulders.

“It doesn't have to have two dads. If it's like what you said, then we could bring it up telling it, you're the dad. Well, that's if you don't chuck me out the TARDIS and refuse to have anything to do with me.” She sighed, leaning into my shoulder.

“Well you can get that thought out of your head, as I would never do something like that to you. If you want me to, I will help you. I'll be around you, support you, get back with you, be the best father anyone could be, be there for you both.”

“I'd like that.” She smiled, looking up at me.

“Then, I the Doctor, promise my life to you, Madison Brown, and to you, Baby Brown.” I promised, placing a hand to her stomach.

“Haha, I promise the same.” She laughed, placing a hand over mine.

“Good. Hehe, I'm going to be a dad!” I giggled.

“I'm going to be a mum! Eeep!” She squealed, smiling widely.

“Big responsibility! Ready for it?”

“Is anybody ever ready for it?”

“Good point. Maddy, did the other Doctor know you were pregnant?” I inquired.

“No. I only found out today. You know how Time Lords have that, like, sixth sense, and just know when they are pregnant, even just the day after they had sex? I'd been getting that all week since we 'got it on', but I wasn't completely sure. When the other Doctor popped out this morning, I may have ran to the store and taken a test without him knowing.” She sighed.

“Why didn't you tell him after you found out?”

“I didn't think he'd take it well. I'm not suppose to say, but Rose was pregnant with his child. But when she died, so did their baby. I was scared he wouldn't want to know me and the baby if I told him, so I kept it a secret.”

“I understand. So you're only a week gone? You've got ages to go yet! We're not suppose to tell people until your like 2 or 3 months gone, just in case...”

“Stuff the rules! Where are Amy and Rory?” She interrupted, jumping to her feet.

“Out on Earth. Shall we tell them?”

“YES! Fly there now!” She beamed, pointing the console.

“They are totally being godparents! How do you think they'll take it?”

“Hopefully well!”

I quickly ran around the console, typing in the coordinates as fast as I could. I was so happy, everything was perfect. Well, apart from one thing, but once we were on Earth, I could take care of that. I was going to be a dad! AHHHH!

We soon landed near the Pond's house on Earth, as I bounded out to the doors. Madison ran after me, equally excited, but I stuck my hand out to stop her.

“What you doing?” She asked.

“Stopping you from leaving, what does it look like?” I smirked.

“Oh god, you're not going into protective Dad mode already are you?” She sighed, rolling her eyes.

“No, not yet. But I want to check the Pond's are okay first, and then I'll bring them back here and we'll tell them. Also there is some things I need to take care of later on, so you just sit here and be safe!” I explained.

“Why can't I come with you?”

“Now that, is a secret. Don't worry, Maddy, I'll be back before you can say...” I began to say, as I pulled the door open and stepped outside.

“Are you walking out on me?”

“Yes, before you can say, are you walking out on me... Woah what? Why would you say that?” I asked, turning round to face her.

“You're sneaking off somewhere, and not telling me about it, and you won't let me come with you. I mean, it's a bit weird if you are running off, because you've left me in your ship, but it does seem like............mmmmmm...” Maddy rambled on, before I quietened her with a kiss.

“Madison Brown, you really need to stop over thinking things. Give me five minutes, I'll be right back” I smiled, kissing her forehead after.

“See you soon then. Oh, and STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!” Maddy yelled, as I walked out the TARDIS.

“Oh Madison, how I love you!” I laughed, as I ran off down the street.

3 Hours Later...

Madison's P.O.V.

Three hours.... He's been gone three hours... The Doctor had left the me in the TARDIS three hours ago, and he hadn't returned yet.... THREE HOURS!

He's left me, hasn't he? Oh no, he has! I shouldn't have told him I was pregnant, 'cause now he's run off and left me. But I'm in his ship?! Oh why is the Doctor so confusing?

“Oh this is all your fault! Why did you have to start growing inside of me? AHHHHH!” I screamed at my stomach, towards the growing child inside me.

Suddenly the TARDIS made a large banging noise, as if it was disagreeing with my shouting, before lurching to the side, causing me to fall hard onto the chair. I gasped in shock, as I sent the TARDIS console a daggering stare.

“Well, that was rude!” I muttered, getting up from the chair.

I returned to my old way, and started pacing around the console. I subconsciously rubbed my stomach occasionally, while muttering to myself about the stupid situation I had gotten myself into. A million thoughts just ran through my head about The Doctor and the possibilities of where he could be.

So, you can imagine how fast I ran and how quickly I hugged him when he walked into the TARDIS.

“DOCTOR! Oh my God, I was so worried! You've been gone for three hours, I missed you loads! I was panicking like crazy, don't ever tell me five minutes then take ages to come back again. You can be so horrible and you don't know it, please don't ever do it again! Well at east your back safe, I hope!” I rambled into his chest, as I clutched him in a hug.

“He promised you five minutes too? Yup, been there.”

“Amy?” I asked, looking to the side to see her. “Where's Rory?”

“Hey, Maddy.”

“Oh.... Hello Rory...” I muttered, looking up to see I was hugging Rory.

“Hi.. Could you,..... ummm..... possibly..”

“Let go now? Yeah, sure thing.” I smiled, releasing his squashed body.

“So where is he then?” Amy asked, walking up to the console with me.

“Where's who?” I asked.

“The Doctor. Where is he?”

“What do you mean? I thought he was with you?”

“No, we were just about to go out for a walk, when we saw the TARDIS in the road. We only just rushed over, when we found you in here. We presumed you two had finished discussing everything, and come back for us. Is The Doctor not around then?” Rory explained.

“No, he told me to stay in the TARDIS. He said he was going to get you, sort some thing out but he said he was only going to be five minutes. It's been three hours and I haven't heard anything from him!” I cried, slumping down onto a chair.

“I'm sure he's fine, Maddy! It's The Doctor, he's always okay! He'll come back... eventually!” Amy reassured, sitting beside me.

“No, but you don't understand! The reason we came back so quickly and why I'm worried he hasn't come back yet, is because I told him I'm p....” I began to stress.

“Maddy, I'm home! The Pond's weren't in, so we'll have to wait until later on to tell them the news.... Oh, hello Ponds.... Why are you here?” The Doctor announced, striding into the TARDIS.

“Where the hell have you been?” I yelled, crossing my arms.

“Like I said, I had to sort some stuff out, and then I went to find the Pond's and they weren't in. Now, here I am! Why, what happened?” He explained, walking up to me.

“You said you would be five minutes!”

“How long was I?”

“THREE HOURS!” I shouted, flailing my arms in the air.

“Ah, sorry?” He smiled sheepishly.

“Sorry?! You're sorry? You were gone three hours, after you promised five minutes! I was worried sick! You know I thought you were going to leave me, then you just disappear for ages! Even Amy and Rory didn't know where you were! Do you have any idea how......” I ranted, before I was cut off.

The Doctor had suddenly leapt forward, and pressed his lips to mine. I took all I could, to not kiss him back, as I shoved him off me.

“Oh no, that's not working twice on me today!” I sassed, crossing my arms.

“Can you stop getting worked up please? I know it's only been a week, but it's not good for you now! I'm sorry, alright? I promise to make it up to later. I intend to keep that promise.” The Doctor smiled, pulling me into a hug.

“Oh there's the protective Dad mode!” I giggle into his shoulder.

“Umm, excuse me? Yeah, Ponds still here! You have news for us, and he's in protective Dad mode. Please explain!” Amy interrupted.

“Ah yes, sorry Ponds. Hello! Ummm... the news, yes.. Errrr, do you want to tel them?” The Doctor asked, turning to me.

“Oh no, carry on! Have fun!” I smiled, patting his shoulder.

“You sure? Hate for you to miss out on the fun.”

“OH MY GOSH! Somebody just tell us!” Amy yelled, becoming impatient.

“WE'RE HAVING A BABY!” Me and The Doctor yelled as one.

“A what?” Rory asked, as they both looked on in shocked.

“A baby! Tada!” I cheered, waving my arms in the air.

“How long ago did you two see us?” Amy asked.

“I'm sorry?”

“Has it been like a few months since we last saw you? How busy were you?” Amy exclaimed.

“No, no, no! Nothing like that! We only saw you a few hours ago. I had drunk sex with the other Doctor, but because both Doctor's have the same DNA and regeneration patterns, I technically slept with this Doctor too! So the baby is his too. Wonderful, right? Right?” I rambled, becoming more panicked as they continued to stare at us.

“Wow... Umm..I don't know what to say...” Rory stuttered.

“How about congratulations? Oh my god, our Doctor's going to be a Daddy! And Maddy, awwwww, you're going to make a great Mum!” Amy squealed, pulling me into a hug.

“Well done, Doctor. Can't wait to see you walking round with a baby!” Rory joked, as he awkwardly shook The Doctor's hand.

“This is going to be amazing! I'm going to be a Mum!” I laughed.

“Hang on, when are you due?” Amy asked.

“Not sure, what was the date on Earth?”

“For some unknown reason, you dropped us off in January 2012.” Rory muttered, shaking his head.

“So then... November 2012... Earth time.”

“No, October. You get pregnant for nine months, Maddy.”

“Hello! Time Lord here! Pregnant for ten months, so I'm due in November!” I sighed, rolling my eyes.

“But you died in October 2012! How is that even possible?”

“No idea. It's sort of.... Wibbly wobbly timey wimey... stuff... I don't know! Just go with it!” I tried to explained, but giving up easily.

“Nice explanation!” The Doctor quipped.

“Thanks. Now, you, Doctor. You've got some making up to do.” I smirked, turning to face him.

“Ah indeed I do, and I'm glad the Ponds are here to see this!” He smiled, digging around for something around in his pocket.

“Why? What are you going to do?..... OH MY GOSH, what are you doing?” I gasped.

The Doctor had suddenly pulled a small blue box from his pocket, taken my hand, and was currently down on one knee in front of me.

“Hopefully, not looking like an idiot! Maddy, I love you. I really do, and I am so glad you are back in my life. When I lost you, I was lost, really. And now you're pregnant, that just makes things better. You make me whole and I want to be able to spend my entire life with you now. But as your husband and as the father our child deserves.

“So, Madison Lauren Kristin Brown, will you do the honor of becoming my wife?” He beamed, making me cry.

“YES!”

A.N. ROMANCE, PONDS AND BABYS ON DOCTOR WHO SERIES 7 PART 2 DAY! THIS IS'NT THE END I PROMISE! TWO MORE CHAPTERS LEFT YET!

Now, for the next chapter, it's going to be a bit different. I was originally going to do the epilouge ext, but I've change my mind. I'm doing a chapter on 'Pond Life', a few one shots of Maddy and The Doctor and then some of the episodes. I won't do the entire episode for each one, I'll just do snippets of them, as I'm sure we want to see Maddy seeing River again in The Angels Take Manhatten' So, do bare with me on that!
