Chapter 15 – I Can't Just Leave You!

Madison's P.O.V

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The Doctor screamed, as he fell to the floor in agony.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DOCTOR! NOOOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed, watching on in shock.

In complete secret, a Dalek had appeared on the beach near us. It had obviously seen as us and did it's natural reaction of aiming and shooting at us. It had managed to shoot The Doctor, as he lead looking lifeless on the floor.

"EXTERMINATE!" The Dalek screeched, aiming it's gun at me.

"MADISON!" The Doctor screamed, lunging at me and pushing me out the way.

"AHHH! Which one are you?" I asked, rolling over to face him.

"What?"

"Which Doctor are you?" I cried, felling tears welling up.

"The Time Lord one. The real Doctor." He replied, looking shocked.

"Oh my god... DOCTOR!" I screamed, pushing the real Doctor away from me as I ran to the lifeless looking other Doctor.

"SYSTEMS RESTORING!" The Dalek screeched.

"Maddy! Don't move! That Dalek is damaged but when it gets back to normal it will shoot you!" The real Doctor shouted, grabbing my arm.

"Not if I get to it first." I muttered, pulling my arm away from him.

I ripped my gun from my pocket and began running towards the Dalek. It's eye stalk followed my movement, as it's gun traced over my body. A flash kept repeating inside the gun to show me it still hadn't restored properly. I pointing the gun at the Dalek's eye as I reached it, crying my eyes out and seething with anger.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?" I screamed, causing the Dalek to flinch back in worry.

"I DO NOT UNDERSTAND!" It replied, scanning over my face.

"BULLSHIT! YOU KILLED HIM! YOU'VE KILLED MY DOCTOR! YOU UTTER BASTARD!"

"THE DOCTOR IS OUT ENAMY! HE SHALL BE DESTROYED!"

"WELL YOU HAVE NOW! EVERYBODY HATES YOU! FIRST YOU ESCAPE ME ON EARTH, THEN YOU KILL ROSE TYLER AND HER FAMILY! NOW YOU'VE SHOT MY DOCTOR! HOW COULD YOU!" I screamed, over raging with anger but still crying.

"IT IS OUR DUTY! TO KILL ALL OTHER LIFE FORMS!"

"Yeah, well now you have a new purpose."

"WHAT IS IT?" It screeched.

"To die. Say goodnight, Dalek. I HOPE YOU HAVE FUN IN HELL!" I snarled, shooting the gun at it's eye.

I screamed in pain, as I shot it over and over in the eye stalk. It soon exploded and the top part set on fire. But that wasn't enough. I lunged forward and started kicking the Dalek body. I even reached inside the fire and started to shoot the creature inside.

"Mads? Madison, stop!" I heard Rory shout.

"I can't." I whispered, as tears streamed constantly down my face.

"Maddy! Please, calm down!" Rory yelled, running up behind me and placing a hand on my shoulder.

I had snapped. I was past my normal anger stage and nothing was going to stop me. I span round quickly and before I knew what I was doing, I was pointing my gun at Rory's head. He held his hands up in surrender, and watching my gun carefully.

"Madison. Just calm down, please. Put the gun down, I'm not going to hurt you. I promise." Rory stated, slowly.

"MADISON! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" The real Doctor shouted, running over to us.

"I...I..." I stuttered, not being able to move.

"Madison, please. It's just me, it's Rory. Put down the gun." Rory smiled, reaching his hand forward.

I watched as the real Doctor skidded to a halt next to Rory. He looked at me shocked, as his eyes wandered to my gun. I was about to hand over my gun, when I looked past them both to see the sight I had almost forgotten what I was fighting about.

The other Doctor lead on the floor. Looking lifeless, while Amy held his hand.

I dropped the gun to the floor, as I pushed past the pair and ran towards him. Everything seemed to be going in slow motion, as he didn't seem to be getting closer. Before I knew it, I was knelt next to him, clutching his hands to mine.

"Doctor! Oh god, please don't die. Please, Doctor." I begged, as his eyes open to see me.

"Hello you. Sorry I'm being a bit rude, but I seem to be dying." He smiled, sounding weak.

"Hey, afraid you're wrong. I'm not letting you die. Ever." I promised, giving a small laugh.

"Ever might have just ended. That Dalek got me Madison. I'm only part Time Lord, I can't regenerate."

"No, don't say that! You can make this! Please, I need you! I need you!" I wept, moving his fragile body onto my lap.

"Oh, Maddy. I'm so sorry. I'm not going to be there for you. I'd love to stick around and grow old with you, but I don't think it's going to happen. Ahh." He cried, moving one of his hands to clutch his stomach.

"Oh my god, don't die. Please don't die. You can make this. I promise. Please, don't leave me. We can get you to regenerate again! I'll do the kiss thing again! Anything! Please let me!" I begged, holding him tighter.

"Maddy. Listen to me. This is going to sound stupid but remember I love you. I'm dying. We need to face that fact. Don't cry over me. Look over there. See him?" The other Doctor coughed, pointing at the real Doctor who was stood the opposite side of me. "He loves you. He's me. He can give you the life I never could. Go with him, please. Have a great life flying the Universe together. Please, Madison."

"NO! I can't just leave you here! You're dying! I can save you!" I cried.

"I know you can, sweetheart, I know. But I don't want you too. I can see that the real Doctor can give you a proper life which you deserve. Go with him, he's the same as me!" He tried again, as he started to cry.

"HE'S NOT YOU! You're not the same person！Please, please, Doctor. Let me save you. Please, I am begging you. I'll get my gun and do it like we did last time, I don't care for any pain! PLEASE!" I shouted, as my vision became blurry with tears.

"Doctor, look after her. Take her home and give her a great life. If she doesn't want to come with you, you know what to do." The other Doctor told the real Doctor.

"I will. I promise." The real Doctor replied.

"What are you talking about? Don't give up! Please, don't give up on me!" I sniffled, to over come with emotion.

"I'm not, Maddy! I'm really not. But I'm dying, love, you can't mope around her after me. I won't let you. Please go with the real Doctor, he can give you a good life. Please, Maddy...... Please..." He breathed, becoming weaker as he went on.

"NO! DON'T LEAVE ME! Please! Doctor, please!" I cried.

"I'm so, so sorry Madison. Thank you for everything. You saved me in ways you didn't even know about!"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"When I first met you, here in this beach. I was up on the cliff. I was about to jump and kill myself. You stopped me. When you arrived, I ran down and met you. And honestly, it was one of the best things in my life. Thank you so much for everything. I love you so much. Now, go have a great life." He smiled.

"Oh god, why did you never tell me! I chose you. When I had to choose which Doctor to go with, I chose you. I couldn't leave you here alone, so please don't leave me! PLEASE!" I pleaded.

"You chose me? Thank you. Madison Lauren Kristin Brown, thank you so much for everything. I love you. Forever" He replied, sending me one last smile.

"I love you too! Please don't go!" I sobbed.

"Have a good life for me, yeah? You have a Doctor, be with him. Remember me. Goodbye, sweetheart!" He whispered, before his eyes shut tight.

My world soon came crashing down around me then. He took is final breath as he went limp in my arms. I let out a scream of sadness, as I held him close to me. I silently begged for this all to be a trick and that he would just wake up, but he never did.

The real Doctor moved next to me and tried to hug me, in an attempt to calm me down. It only made me worse. He just reminded me of what I had lost, so I only cried harder.

"Doctor! Please wake up. Please! I'll be a better person. Just wake up for me. I won't care if it's a big joke and you just trying to get back at me. I just need you awake with me. Please, please Doctor!" I sobbed, rocking him back and forth in my arms.

"Maddy? I am so, so sorry." The Doctor claimed, placing his hand on my shoulder.

"No you're not. You wanted this to happen! This is all your fault! You had to come and get me, didn't you? I was happy living with him and now he's dead! I've lost him!" I barked, shaking his hand away.

"Maddy, I could never want this. If I had known you were this close I would have left you here with him...."

"No you wouldn't! You would have taken me away like you did all that time ago. I just wanted a normal life here with him, why can't I have that? I am a Time Lord, why can't anything ever be normal?" I screamed, crying harder.

"I know, love, I know. I want everything to be normal too, sometimes. But you have to move on. I'm sorry, Maddy but he's gone. Please, he told me to take you back. I know I can't give you the life he could, but I can give you more. Please, Madison, come home with me." He begged, making me look at him.

"No, I don't want to. I want to be here with him and if hes not here, then I don't want to be either. If I can't have him, I don't want anything. I don't want to go home with you! This is my home now. It has been for months, since your bloody wife shot me! Just go away and leave me here. If you ever come back, I'll be gone because I can't do this anymore!" I choked, slowly letting the other Doctor out of my arms.

"Then I'm sorry, Maddy. But I told him I would look after you and give you a good life. I can't just leave you here. You have to come back with me. Even if you want me to drop you back on Earth or somewhere in the Universe, you have to come with me. Once me, Amy and Rory leave, there's no coming back. We have to go now, Maddy. Please, I am begging you. Come home with us."

"No, it's not happing. If I can't have him, then I want nobody. Just get away from me and go back to where you came from. I can't do this anymore." I yelled, as I got up and ran away.

I started running towards the cliffs, as I heard the Doctor run up behind me. I was still crying, as I ran to the top of the cliff and stood near the edge.

"MADISON! What are you doing?" The Doctor yelled, stopping behind me.

"He said then when he did this... I came and... and I saved him... Now.. Now he can do the same for me! He'll come back and save me." I cried, looking down over the top of the cliff.

"He won't, Maddy! He's dead and if you jump, so will you be! Please, just come back here! We can sort something out!"

"No we can't. Even if he doesn't save me, I just want to be with him. Why can't I have that?" I screamed, taking a step closer to the edge.

"Madison, please. I am begging you, come away from there. Please." He begged.

"I can't. Please, just go." I whispered, closing my eyes.

"I'm afraid, I can't do that Maddy. And I'm sorry, I'm so sorry for this." He replied, sounding a lot closer to me.

"For what?" I asked, turning round slightly.

As I turned around, I felt a strong pair of arms loop round my waist. The Doctor pulled me back away from the cliff edge, as I kicked and screamed as much as I could. I flipped my head back in hope of hitting The Doctor, but I only saw him holding the Sonic Screwdriver to my head as it buzzed.

Then, it all went black...

A question for you Whovians and Wattpaders! In the comments I would like to know what was your first Doctor Who episode and did you like it? For example: Mine was Series 2, Episode 13 - Doomsday. And what en episode to join the fandom! I don't remember watching episodes before then, I just remember watching it with my brother, as we both cried out eyes out. I was 7 and he was 5! Then I started watching from then!
