"so... what movie do you wanna watch tonight?" namjoon asked, grabbing a slice of pizza off the counter.

"well, i was thinking we could just talk tonight... i'm gonna fall asleep if we watch a movie anyways."

"okay, that's fine."

joon and jimin walked over to the couch, sitting down. jimin had eaten earlier and brushed his teeth, just in case the night took a turn.

"s-so how's the pizza?"

"it's pretty good. to be honest i've never really gone for just plain cheese, but now i think i'm into it."

plain cheese pizza was jimin's favorite and namjoon was sweet enough to let him order it.

"see! i told you! if you add on all those veggies and meat it takes away from the pizza itself."

"well, you were right."

it fell silent and namjoon took the last bite of his pizza.

"hey, joonie. i have a question."

"what is it?"

"why did you... you know... go out with all those girls all the time?"

"why are you asking?"

"i don't know... just curious."

"well... i don't really know, to be honest. i guess i just needed someone to care about me, even if it was just for one night. i've never really been loved before... in that way. when you go without that for so long it gets..."

"...lonely? suffocating?" jimin asked, knowing exactly how namjoon felt.

"yeah... how'd you know?"

"lucky guess."

"well, you're spot on."

"you won't feel that way forever, joonie, i promise. you're amazing and anyone would be lucky to be with you."

jimin wasn't sure if it was the right time to kiss him, but he didn't know when a better time would come. it was silent and they were both just looking at each other. jimin nervously started leaning in. it was slow and namjoon didn't even pick up on it.

"well, about that-"

when namjoon spoke, jimin quickly flinched back, hoping namjoon didn't notice.

"there's this person. they're great. they always make me laugh and they seem to really care about me, but it's hard cause i'm not sure if our feelings match up. do they just wanna hook up or... is it more than that?"

jimin tried to hide the smile on his face, but he couldn't. no one in this world cared about namjoon more than he did, so he was almost positive namjoon was talking about him.

"of course they wanna date you, joonie. who wouldn't?"

as soon has jimin let the thought escape his mouth, he gasped. he was making his move.

namjoon just looked at him, tilting his head a bit.

jimin tilted his to the opposite side, wanting nothing more than to push his face against namjoon's. he wanted his first kiss.

but namjoon leaned back up straight and cleared his throat, setting a hand on jimin's thigh.

"well, i hope so."

guysss my stomach hurts lmao. also i think this book is probs gonna be a lot shorter than my last one. i just feel like there's a lot less going on. maybe like... 20 to 30 chapters? not sure yet lol
