Robby sat across from Jules, they sat on her bed and laughed. Jules wasn't sure how long they had been here talking and laughing. She leaned back against her headboard.

"And I told my mother one day that I didn't want to spar with her, I was 5 or 6 at this time and she got so mad at me that she ignored me the entire day. My father was pissed." Jules laughed out, they had been talking about their dysfunctional families

Maybe that was why they felt so close, they had nearly the same family. Robby shook his head.

"Oh man, your mother would get along with my mother." Robby said and Jules asked. "Really?"

Robby nodded and they sat there trying to calm down but every time they looked at each other, the teen bursted out into another fit of laughter.

Jules leaned forward and pushed his shoulder. "Stop making me laugh."

Robby laughed out. "You first."

Finally the girl took a deep breath and finally calmed down. She rubbed her eyes clearing the tears that had come from her laughing fit. Jules pulled her knees closer to her chest, Robby's leg hung off of her bed as the other was folded under him.

"So how's working for Daniel?" Jules asked and the boy groaned as he rolled his eyes.

"Don't get me started. I asked him to teach me karate and all I'm doing is his chores." Robby sounded so angry. He ran his hand through his hair

Jules nodded. "Yeah I get that."

Robby smiled as he turned the question onto the girl. "How's training with my dad."

Jules smiled. "It's been okay but man was your dad hard on us. I still remember those tennis balls, and I still have the bruises."

Robby giggled again. The two teens started laughing again. Victoria walked to the edge of the stairs.

"Julie, time for dinner!" She called to her daughter but she didn't hear a response.

So Victoria started walking up the stairs, as she started getting closer to Jules's room, the woman heard laughing. She smiled until she heard another voice, this one was deeper. Victoria walked up to Julie's door. The teens didn't hear Victoria or the footsteps getting closer to the door until Jules's door opened.

"Julie it's time for-" Victoria stopped as she looked over at Robby and smiled

Jules rolled her eyes and groaned. She didn't want Robby to meet her mother but Jules forced a smile.

"Is your friend going to stay for dinner?" Victoria asked as the two stood up from her bed and Jules looked at Robby. "Are you going to stay?"

The boy shrugged. "Why not."

Victoria smiled before giving Jules a look, telling her to introduce her to the boy. Jules sighed and answered.

"Mom this is Robby." She answered reluctantly. "Robby this is....my mom."

Robby walked up to Victoria and reached out his hand. "It's nice to meet you Ms. Barron."

Victoria took his hand and pressed her other hand against her chest. "Please call me Victoria."

Jules walked up and stood next to Robby, "let's go."

Victoria walked out of the room, Jules let out a sigh and her eyes went wide for a second. Robby just laughed and then walked out after the woman, they continued downstairs and into the dining room. Robby and Jules sat down as Victoria grabbed an extra plate and utensils.

"Dig in guys." Victoria said and sat down. Jules moved and piled some food onto her plate, Victoria took some glances at Robby. He looked super familiar to her. "Robby you look familiar, do I know your parents?"

Jules almost spat up her food. She couldn't have her mother know or else her entire plan would come crashing down. Robby and the girl gave each other a glance.

"Um yeah, I think you do." Robby answered vaguely and Jules let out a sigh

Victoria smiled and started to pull out her phone. "Then I should give them a call and tell them that you're fine."

Robby panicked for a second before shaking his head and answering calmly. "I don't think that's a good idea. They're on a date right now and I don't want to bother them."

"Oh okay, well then eat up." Victoria said and pushed the plate closer to the boy

Robby and Jules smiled at each other.

"So Robby, are you working?"

"Yeah. I'm working at LaRusso's Auto."

Victoria's eyes lit up at that and Jules rolled her eyes. Oh brother Jules waited for the topic of karate to come up.

"I work right down the street-" Jules's mother explained but Robby finished her sentence. "At Barron City Law, right?"

Victoria nodded and the looked over at Jules, the woman gave a look saying that she liked Robby. Jules mouthed back telling Victoria not to ruin this. It wasn't too long until the topic of karate came up and Jules found herself sitting at the table alone, she rolled her eyes and listened to Robby and Victoria as they stood by Victoria's Golden Days cabinet.

"This was my first headband. I got it from Mr. Miyagi and this." Victoria paused for a second. "Are the photos from Okinawa."

Jules finished her food and got up, she turned and joined them. Robby smiled as Victoria passed him the photos, the two teens flicked through them. Jules never cared about these photos, some of them had her mother, some had Daniel and some of the photos were of another girl. Jules had heard from her mother that it was a girl named Kumiko. Robby stalled on one of a young Daniel standing on a bridge.

He pointed down at the photo. "Is this Mr. LaRusso?"

Victoria nodded. "Yeah. He was quite handsome when he was young."

Robby laughed. "He hasn't aged."

Victoria took the photos back before pulling out another item. It was a ball covered by wire on a string.

"This is a chura-tama. It means beautiful ball, I got it on a date in Okinawa." Victoria sighed as she reminisced about the old days.

Jules tilted her head. "Who got it for you...wait that was a stupid question. It was Daniel."

Victoria shook her head as she sighed. It was a beautiful item but the memories it brought back weren't. "Actually no. Chozen got it for me."

Jules's eyes went wide. She wasn't expecting that turn of events. Her mother went on a date with Chozen, the same Chozen that challenged Daniel to a fight to the death, the same Chozen that almost killed her and Daniel?

"You went on a date with Chozen!" Jules almost yelled out. "How did Daniel react?"

Victoria hissed. "Well Chozen did steal all of Daniel's money on that date and destroyed Miyagi's garden. Not too well, and I regret it to this day."

Now with the sob story over, Jules grabbed Robby's hand and motioned for them to go upstairs. Victoria realized that Robby was here for her daughter, she smiled and sighed.

"I'll leave you two alone but no funny business okay." Victoria pointed at the two of them and Jules rolled her eyes. "Mom."

They quickly hurried upstairs. Victoria watched as they hurried, she hoped that Julie would find a good partner whether that be Robby or another guy.

Victoria walked up to the house, Sam sat on the side of the pool smiling at her computer. She looked up hearing footsteps and then smiled at Victoria.

"Hi aunt Victoria." Sam said to Victoria. "What are you doing here?"

She looked around before asking. "Is your father around?"

Sam nodded before looking over at her house, she pointed over and around the side. "I think he's in the dojo."

"Thanks Sam." Victoria smiled and walked away, the girl nodded and watched as the woman walked away

Victoria walked down the hall outside of the house. It reminded her of the house in Japan, she walked down those halls so many times both with Kumiko and Daniel. It came back to her, the wind and the smells, as well as the sounds. Victoria felt like she was 18 again, oh what she would give to go back to those days. Her daydreaming came to an abrupt end as she reached the dojo, all of the old stuff that dojo had housed was gone. It looked just like it did all those years ago when the girls were so young.

Victoria took Julie here all the time and so did Daniel. The two girls loved playing together and learning Karate, they would run around until they tired themselves out. She smiled as the memories replayed, hearing the laughter and her eyes followed the path that they ran so many times. Then she looked up and watched Daniel, a smile covering her face as she watched the man move slowly as he did kata. He didn't see her yet, Victoria quickly kicked off her shoes and joined him in the middle of his action. As Daniel turned, his eyes lit up and he froze in the middle of his kata.

"Victoria what are you doing here?" He asked and Victoria just continued moving slowly. She smiled and said. "I wanted to come see you."

Once she had finished her rotation, she stopped and looked at Daniel. He moved first and pulled her into a hug, Victoria squeezed him tightly. As they pulled away, Victoria looked around.

"It looks just like Mr. Miyagi's. He would be proud." Victoria said and Daniel grabbed her hand. "I have something to show you."

They stopped at the other side of the room and Victoria gasped as she looked up and saw a photo of Mr. Miyagi. He was one in a long line of Miyagi's.

"I put his photo up as a reminder." Daniel said and tears came to Victoria's eyes. She missed him and always hoped that he was looking down on them.

"Don't you ever miss them?" Victoria asked? Daniel looked at her confused. "Miss who?"

"The days where it was just you and me and Mr. Miyagi. The days where all we had to worry about was who was coming after us?"

Daniel replied quickly. "Well no because now I don't have worry about dying." They laughed at that but Daniel added. "Sometimes I do. I miss those days but I mostly miss Mr. Miyagi."

"Yeah, I miss him too."

Daniel face lit up. "So I've been training this boy."

Victoria cocked her eyebrow. "Oh no."

Daniel laughed. "I've been putting him to work, teaching him all the basics in my own way and I think it's time. Victoria Barron will you help me teach a new generation of Miyagi-do karate."

Victoria turned to face Daniel and stood up taller. "I would love to Daniel LaRusso."

The two bowed at each other before laughing out.

Victoria found herself standing in the dojo, next to Daniel as Robby stood in front of him. She had already liked the boy but now knowing that the boy Daniel had been training was Robby just put him higher on her list. Maybe she could get Jules back into the dojo this way, a smile crossed her face as she watched Daniel start testing the boy. It felt like all those years ago when Daniel had been in that spot and even longer when she was standing there where Robby was.

"Show me 'wash the windows'" Daniel told the boy. "Hai" he said and threw a punch at Robby who blocked it. His eyes lit up in surprise

"Show me wax on, wax off." Daniel said and Robby did just that. Daniel moved so that he was standing facing the side before throwing the boy all he had

Robby blocked with perfect precision, and Victoria couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. Daniel got cocky enough to throw in some kicks in there but it didn't phase Robby at all, when Daniel was finally done Victoria walked up beside the man. Robby looked confused but amazed at the same time.

"Whoa." That's all the boy could say

The three bowed to each other before Victoria stuck out her hand. When Robby took it she pulled the boy into a hug.

"Welcome to the family Robby." She said in his ear and for the first time Robby felt wanted
