✵Yon-Rogg

"Cassandra!" Maria greets. "Maria!" Cass runs to her and embraces her. I walk to them.

"Is this him?" I hear Maria whisper which Cassandra replies with a nod. "Hello. I am Maria," she offers her hand. I take her hand and shake it. "I am Yon-Rogg," I introduce myself.

"Where is Monica?" Cassandra asks. Suddenly, a girl runs into her legs. "Auntie Cassandra!" the girl exclaims happily. "Monica!" she says as embrace the little girl.

"Are you going with us in space?" Monica asks and she replies, "I am." The girl looks at me. "Is he your boyfriend?" she asks Cassandra. She thinks I am her boyfriend. This girl is adorable. I like this girl.

"NO!!!" Cassandra exclaims loudly as she blushes. Wait. Does she like me too? Her mother covers Monica's mouth. "You little missy are in big trouble," she says as she push her inside the house. Cassandra quickly follow them in, so I go in too.

"When are we leaving?" I ask which Maria replies, "Now." "Wait!" Cassandra shouts. "I have to get some flowers for Karen," she explains. "Monica come with me. Let's get some flowers," she pulls Monica out of the house. I watch them leave.

"Yon-Rogg," Maria calls out and I look at her. "Did you regret it?" she asks which make me furry my brows. "Did you regret breaking her apart?" "I didn't break her apart," I state.

She scoffs. "She accepted you even though you're the enemy. She took you as you are and trusted you as you are. Then you will just break her trust just like that," her voice cracks at the end. "Or you just use her to get out of earth?"

"I didn't mean to-" but she interrupts, "Mean to hurt her? That is a lame excuse," she hisses madly. "She gave you her trust! You don't know how important that is!"

"Her parents are psychopaths! They took everything from her! They nearly killed her by sawing their daughter's leg! That why she doesn't trust anybody that easily," she share with me. Cassandra never told me about it. "Trusting people is only thing that is precious to her and you ruined it," she points her fingers at me.

"We are back!" Cassandra suddenly goes in the house. Maria wipes her tears and sniffs. "Are you okay Maria?" Cass worriedly ask and she replies, "I am fine. I just got dust in my eye." "Let's go," she changes the topic.

We board Maria's modified plane and go into Mar-Vell's secret laboratory. We will visit the Skrulls. Also for me and Talos to talk about the war. I decided to come because it is least I can do to Cassandra after all I done.

Once we arrive, the Skrulls are waiting for us patiently at the hangar. They all went out except from me. I know they hate Krees. I don't know what they will do to me.

"Yon?" Cassandra softly whispers. She called me Yon again. She offers her hand and say, "Come on." I grab it and slowly get out of the plane.

Skrulls suddenly makes scared noises. "It's alright!" Talos, their leader, comforts them. "He is a friend of them."

A small Skrull girl walks to me. "You are not the bad guy?" she sweetly asks. Maybe they are innocent after all. Cassandra carries Skrull in her arms and say, "No, he is not. He is a good person, Karen."

Talos walks to me and say, "Let's talk over there." He point the corner. I nod and follow him.

As I sit down, I watch Cassandra give the flowers to the little Skrull. "She is a beauty. Isn't she?" Talos asks and I answer, "She is one of a kind."

"Then why did you break her trust?" he tells me. I look at him in the eye and said, "Because of you. I want to end the war. For her."

"I know the Supreme Intelligence told you wrong but hear me out," he states to me. "The war ended years ago. The Kree won and we lose. But they wanted more than just winning. They want to kill every Skrulls that is living. They maybe brainwashed you into think that there's still war," he tells me the story.

"What about the ambushed you caused?" I ask and he chuckles, "We just want to find Mar-Vell's lab. I want to reunite with my family." I think of what the Kree has done to the Skrulls. They don't deserve it.

"Are you really telling the truth?" I ask and he nods. "Cross my heart, hope to die. That's what Cassandra taught me," he says which make me laugh.

"Look, Yon-Rogg. We just wanted a home to peacefully live in. I hope you understand that," he tells me. I nod in understandment, "I will protect the Skrulls from now on." "Thank you Yon-Rogg," he thanks me.

"Now let's talk about your love problem," he states which makes me chuckle. "What do you feel towards Cassandra?" he pops the question. "I love her."

"Wow! Cassandra is lucky to have noble Kree warrior loving her," Talos jokes. "Now, you have to gain her trust again." "How?" I ask.

"You to show her that you care and will protect us because that is her mission. She will trust you again if she sees you are dedicated to us," he simply answers. "Thank you for the advice Talos," I thank him. "Nah! Don't mention it!"

We walk to Cass. "How did it go?" Cassandra asks. "Yon will protect all Skrulls from Kree as promised," Talos tells her. She looks at me and slightly smile, just slightly.

"Good," she remarks. "We shall leave then. We have training tomorrow."
